Description of Work: It started as a routine preventive maintenance checkup, $98 for 2, plus a 10% discount on parts, if needed. Matt, was the technician. I found him to be knowledgeable and courteous.Several issues were discovered and needed immediate attention. He showed me the problems as soon as they were found, dirty filter,evap. coil, broken uv light, new mold growth. He cleaned everything and I added a new guardian air system. I didn't do any comparative shopping, so I may have gotten it for less, but I am pleased. |

Description of Work: It was for a routine check up and I was told that the air handler in the attic had mold. The unit was only a couple yrs old. He suggested that we |purchase a heat lamp for around $700.00. We did not take his advice and had |someone else come out and check it out and it was only a little dirt.

Description of Work: Because I had evidence the previous worker had not done what he was paid to do, the owner came out to inspect the work. As a result, he had to concur, and although he was clearly unhappy with his employee, he could not explain or justify the facts, and did not seem overly concerned. He did not apologize to me. He just expressed that he did not understand why his employee had only pretended to do the job. I did not get the impression that there would be any repercussions for the employee.. This is the third time we've had problems with the work done by Weathermakers, so we will not use them again. In fact, this job was to correct a previous problem with their work. We certainly cannot recommend them under the circumstances. They cannot seem to control the quality of work, or their employees. The owners do seem like nice people - but...that's not what I'm paying for.
