ROLL-A-GUARD

I was given excellent service by office manager, Cassidy, who promptly arranged for a visit to our home, and a satisfactory proposal. The company owners directly participated in the process at our home. A contract was signed on 3/28/19. The shutter was constructed with delivery and installation took place on 4/16/19. The two installers did a great job, much to my satisfaction.

Excellent. At all levels of the business. Sandra, Andy, Kyle,Gabe and Cassidy. Punctual and upfront about all the expected work. Cassidy was available every time I had questions. Believe me I had a lot of them!. Always took the time to explain, very knowledgeable. If she did not have an answer she made sure she asked and later communicated with me. Installation and permits were done right. There was a problem with one of the shutters , but even though they were busy, the problem was fixed the next day. Cassidy took care of all the scheduling. They are amazing! They did what they said they we going to do and with excellence. No doubt about recommending this company.

The whole process of working with this company has been positive. The initial contact was with Cassidy who demonstrated the products, answered questions, and managed the process from start to finish. She was very pleasant to work with and kept us informed throughout the job. The crew from Roll-A-Guard - Gabe, Charlie, Mike, Jacob and Josh - did an excellent job of installing our shutters. They were serious about their work and very professional. As a group, they worked well together with no bickering or horse play. They were also very neat, careful with our property, and respectful of the condo rules and regulations, The crew worked closely with the condo maintenance man to get the lift positioned to reach our third story apartment with minimal disruption to the other residents and with no damage to the exterior of the building. After completing the installation, they cleaned up the work areas, walked us through the operation of the shutters, and answered all of our maintenance questions. I would highly recommend this company; you can't go wrong with the best. There is a reason that they have all of those Angie's List Awards.

We asked for a quote after Hurricane Irma. At a time when their competitors were quoting gouged pricing, it was refreshing to speak to a contractor that was not looking to take advantage of a homeowner. They came to our house and gave us a fair quote. Due to their workload, they were also very upfront about the time that it would take to complete the install. As time moved forward we consistently spoke with the same person, Cassidy, and arranged for an install date and time. The craftsmen came on time and completed the work as expected. In Florida it is difficult to find a contractor who will first come to your home and then do the work as expected. Everybody we dealt with at Roll-A-Guard was professional and friendly. Cassidy coordinated everything with the county building inspector as well. We were able to just need the work done and they did it all for us. I would recommend Roll-A-Guard any day, every day of the week.

It went well and was completed in one day despite the need for the workmen to stay after 5 PM. I appreciated the attention to details , even saving a small cross from the front door area where they also installed a hurricane shutter. Preparing the work area , clearing away furniture, plants, loose rugs we had done prior to the work. That will help them and is recommended. This company is great and in high demand. They were extremely professional and helpful. Unfortunately we have a unique situation for which no product was appropriate for the window we were most concerned about. If we decide to purchase protection for our other windows we would definitely use this company.

I called to have someone come out and give me an estimate, and I was told someone would call me within 24 hours to set up an appointment. No one ever called.

I previously posted a review because I had difficulty in reaching Roll A Guard After that review but before it posted I received a call from them in response to my last call. After speaking with the manager I truly believe my calls fell between the cracks. They went out of their way to get someone to the house as soon as possible. Their quote was fair and in line with others. Only problem is that I had a window they could not deal with because of the way it was constructed. I am sorry I could not work with them.

Roll-a-Guard's actual work was done well, and the service technicians were professional and efficient when they arrived to do the work. My main complaint was the difficulty in scheduling an exact date & time for the work to be performed. I waited over two months due to the backlog of repairs, but then would get a call with less than an hour's notice that they were close by and could they do the work then. I was never given the option to schedule a specific date & time until at least six attempts at scheduling had been made.

Absolutely flawless. Andy and his team came, hoisted the shutter to the 4th floor condo unit installed it, completed the electrical hook up and cleaned up in approximately 4 hours or so. When they left it was like they were never there. The price was more than reasonable and on par with other estimates we had received. The shutter was worth every penny especially for the peace of mind it gave us during this past hurricane season. I have to apologize to Andy and Sandra as this review should have been written soon after the job was completed in June but my procrastination got the best of me. I would recommend Roll-A-Guard to anyone considering a shutter.

From the start, Cassidy was super helpful. It was difficult to arrange the appointments between where we are in Minnesota versus CW. Sandra and Mike and Cassidy all made it work. What could be repaired was done and still in touch with future work to be done. So friendly and helpful!!! I am a firm believer in using ratings and reviews and in Angie's list. We chose them because of the ratings and reviews and are very happy and will use again!

Everyone, from the owners to the office staff to the installers did an excellent job. They ensured that the design and installation complied with our condo regulations, took care of filing with the city and permitting, started the work when promised, and completed it in a timely and professional manner. We couldn't be happier with our shutters.

It was perfect, it was fine. They did quality work. It was a short turn around. They helped me out because it was kinda my fault for going to them so late. They did the job really quick. They were done ahead of time. They quoted a week and they were done in 3 days. They were easy to work with and they knew what they were doing.

I was told no problem they would get to me in the next two weeks, I called two weeks later they said they would be in area next week, called two more weeks asked if they wanted me to call another contractor and they said no they would get back to me, that was a week ago. I have not heard from anyone great customer service???

Very good product, service and people!

I still want to use them again. I want them to come back and finish them all. They kept in touch so when I am ready they can come back. They took a month to have the shutters made and then put on. The workers I came in contact with were very good. The area was very clean when they finished.

Great contractor. Showed up on time, diagnosed problem quickly. Unfortunately old motors could not be salvaged. New motors were ordered & replaced promptly. The original motors & shutters were installed by another vendor that I will not do business with again. If I need further assistance with my hurricane shutters I will only call Roll-A-Guard.
