ROLL-A-GUARD

We only had a couple day window in which we were going to be home to install the hurricane shutters. Roll-A-Guard was excellent in working to our schedule. The workers arrived on time and performed the work in a professional manner. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO END UP WITH A MESS. The office manager Cassidy is a gem. She is wonderful. However, the technicians do shoddy work. They left one window in our waterfront home a disaster. After discussing this with the owner, Andy, and giving him the opportunity to correct the problem, his worker came to our house and painted over the caulk instead of removing the two plus inches of caulk the other worker put up. The first worker caulked the wires to the outside of the house two inches from the shutter frame before we noticed it. As that wasn't up to code and looked ridiculous, we asked him to fix it. He tried the best he could but did not have the knowledge or ability to perform the job he was attempting to do. We have had to hire other people to remove the caulk. Thank God we were repainting our house because otherwise we would never had been able to match the color that was going to have to be painted over the excess caulk that they could not remove. They were great. The workers were fine. They did what they figured what the problem was.

Roll A Guard installed 2 large motorized shutters a bout 8 years ago and we were very satisfied with the quality of the product and installation, and the price. They were easy to work with. This week one of the shutters on the balcony would not close and when I called them to repair the shutter I was told that they could not schedule an appointment for at least 6 to 8 weeks. This does not work for us because we will be going back to NY mid September. The young lady told me that if they have a cancellation that she would call me but did not sound very hopeful because they are very busy. I can't believe that they don't have anyone to work on repairs especially for their customers. I called another company on Angie's list and they did some shuffling in their schedule and sent a repairman over the next day. The repair took about 20 minutes. Roll A Guard lost a customer because it's unfortunate that we can't count on them for repairs.

The workers were polite and professional. We haven't had to put up the covers, so I can't comment on that. One thing I did not love is that for two doors that are right next to each other, they did not put in the bolts lined up symmetrically, so it looks a bit funny. Otherwise, good.

Great...saved a bunch of money versus replacing doors.

We can't be more happier with our new tapco screens. From start to finish great communication and great customer service provided by Cassidy. Jacob and Mike, I believe was his name,, did great job installing our screens. Sandra and her husband (the owners) helped us feel confident in our purchase and we can't appreciate enough their honesty. Gave us pros and cons about the product we wanted and didn't try to push a different one just because it costs more. Now with the hurricane season fired up we can breathe one idea better. Thank you so much all of you from Roll-a-Guard.

Ours was not an easy installation. It required the workers to hang scaffolding from the roof. I was impressed with their courage and with the quiet, effective finished product.

Salesperson and installers were all prompt. Cassidy in the office was very friendly and responsive to my questions. Installation appears to have been done correctly and was on time. A miscommunication between me and the salesperson regarding the track on my back porch was able to be remedied during installation with no additional days or cost. Very happy customer.

I shopped 3 contractors for hurricane shutters. Roll-A-Guard had by far the best service, price and quality. All work was performed professionally and on time as promised. I would highly recommend this contractor.

Job took forever with workmen not showing up. There are still problems with rubber on bottom slats falling off and some shutters slats not closing all the way and leaving spaces.

Friendly, knowledgeable family run business. Easy to work with. Responsive and did a great job. Would recommend.

Customer Service was very responsive throughout the project. Work quality was very good. The owner Andy and POC Cassidy were very attentive to our inquiries, questions, concerns and made sure we were completely satisfied. Out of five estimates, this company's pricing was right in the middle. Good warranty and sustainability of their family business outweighs going with a smaller installer who needs to outsource all their work.

It was excellent. They were very responsive, I made a phone call to Roll A Guard and they were here within couple days. Very professional company. They sent two service technician, they were both professionals and explained everything. The overall cost was very reasonable compared to what they did. I'm very impressed. They were excellent the first time, and plus plus plus the second time. I would highly recommend them.
