Someone answered when I called for an estimate. Their schedule fit great with my schedule. Everyone was prompt and courteous and I received a proposal on the same day. I asked additional questions afterwards and my questions were answered promptly. On the day of service, I received a call confirming that they were on the way. The guys worked well and were very professional. Took the time to explain my system and did good work on top of all that!

The plumber assigned to service my home from McGill Plumbing was a gentleman named Josh. Punctuality was great as he showed up to my door on the early side of my appointment window. Josh was professional, friendly and courteous going through the list of things that I wanted done and checking each item. Josh offered to save me money by fixing the faucet and garbage disposal that were there but as I had my fill with problems from both I decided to opt out of that and just replace the items with better products. Josh is very knowledgeable, experienced and quick doing all of this work in under 90 minutes. Josh did a wonderful job in all respects and I whole heartedly recommend both Josh and McGill Plumbing to everyone on Angie's list and will do so to all my friends. Gerald M. McCabe

Communication with the service center was efficient. They were prompt and courteous in getting back to me to schedule the service. I was called when the tech was on his way. The service window was scheduled for 9-11, and he was promptly at my door at 8:55 - it's fantastic when any provider shows up at the front-end of a window. The tech walked me through what he needed to do before starting the work, which he then completed in what seemed like a very quick matter of time. All in all it was a great service experience, and I would use them again.

John and Brandon arrived just when they said they would. They completed the work within the time frame they expected. They were very professional, friendly and thorough. We were very happy with the quality of the work. They attended to the details - for instance, where the new pipes had to be run through our old cabinets they mounted them on the back walls of the cabinets to minimize the amount of space lost; they put a plate around the areas where they had to breach the cabinet wall (instead of just cutting a hole like some previous contractors did); they foam sealed all the new openings when they were finished. Also, they completely cleaned up each of the 3 days they were there. We will definitely use McGill again in the future.

Very well - the workmen were prompt, pleasant and professional. All work was done per agreement and they cleaned up after themselves. I would absolutely hire them again in a minute.

Later that day another technician arrived, again at the promised time to install the new water softener. He clearly knew his job, knew what was required to de-install the old one and install the new one. The work was done efficiently in a timely manner without making an undue mess. Unfortunately for me, after the system was mostly installed I began to realize the new water softener was not an exact replacement of my old one. I realize it is my fault for not asking more questions of the tech. that was out earlier in the day, but I assumed since he was standing next to the old softener that he was quoting me a price for a similar replacement model. This is not the case. I may use McGill again but if they are to replace anything for me in the future, I assure you I will ask as many question as I feel necessary to determine what they are selling me. It is disappointing to not feel comfortable when dealing with a service company.

Easy to schedule, comes within allotted time period. They do good work, although not the cheapest. I have used them many times over the last several years.

The only hiccup was that I didn't provide my phone number with my request for service. They tried to contact Angie's list to get my contact info but I managed to call the company to check on the status of my order before Angie's list got back to them. Also, on the request page, you are only given AM or PM as an option. When the rep called, he told me that they were all booked up that morning and that they could come the following morning, assuming that my only availability was in the morning based on my request. You guys might want to tweak that. In any event, they were able to come out that afternoon and the job was done in less than an hour, not incurring any additional charges for more than an hour's work, as I feared it might. The young man was respectful and professional and I would use this company again.

Perfect, they were. Time and did a great gob they were professional, neat and clean, my dogs even liked them. I will definitely use them again.

PROMPT AND CURTIOUS, WILL USE AGAIN IF NEEDED

Robert from McGill Plumbing was outstanding when he first gave us the estimate on a new water heater and then scheduled it for the very next day! He was on time and very professional and finished in no time and my husband and I are very pleased. He also advised us that our main shut off valve should be replaced eventually and we will definitely be calling them to do that job. I should add that we initially called McGill Plumbing for a leak under our kitchen sink on July 29, 2015 and the technician Wayne was also on time and found that the leak was caused by a bad install from another plumber we had employed a few months earlier. He installed the garbage disposal properly and was done in less than half an hour! I would also like to mention that the girl who called to confirm the appointment was very nice and even called when, because of bad storms, the technician would be a little late. I really appreciated that!! I would definitely recommend McGill Plumbing to anyone in need of a really good, dependable plumber!!!!

This service was excellent! What I liked about Chris is that he came in, was very friendly, went right to work and did not try to add clock time. He did a great job and did it in a very short time. He also came prepared with replacement parts (again, not adding time to my bill). If you live in Belleair or Largo, this provider will do a great job for you.

Went as expected. Technician was prompt, courteous and efficient.

First time they came out snaked a cable through main drain. A few hours later started backing up again. Placed another call and the next day a person arrived and ran a longer cable to clear the potential clog. This time it worked fine. No more backup. I was happy that the problem was resolved. I would definitely use this company plumbing service again.

Our toilets would not flush properly due to blocked pipes. I purchased a deal through Angie's List for 150.00 and called the company to arrange for somebody to come out. This deal was for Monday-Friday. I ended up arranging for them to come on a Saturday, because we could not wait until Monday. The man came on time and performed the service and within an hour we were able to use our toilets again. My only negative comment would be that the serviceman removed our vented covers on our roof. He did not replace them when the service was complete.

Randy came out and did a great job. It was so much easier than I thought it would be. The price was good too! I would gladly recommend them to anyone!

I purchased a $595 water heater installation deal through Angie's List. I called McGill Plumbing shortly after placing the order, as I did not have any hot water and wanted to expedite the install. I was immediately scheduled for a same day appointment. The removal of the old water heater and installation of the new heater was done neatly and in a timely fashion. The plumber also replaced the old valve with a new ball valve for just $30. I was very pleased with the work and will continue to use McGill Plumbing in the future. P.S. Sorry for the late review.

I spent about $180. They were quick so they got back to me very quickly and were able to fit me in immediately. That was great. They were responsive. The plumber that came out did a very good job, he explained everything to me and he tried to give me a couple of tips. I would recommend them again.

They are very professional, on time, neat, and even did somethings that I neded done and pointed out things that needed to be done that they were able to do.

I went into their showroom last week to talk to them about what I needed done and to pick out a toilet. Plumber was on time, polite and professional. After a quick tour around the house identifying what needed to be done, he got right to work. All tasks completed quickly and neatly. Excellent Job! McGill could have scheduled these repairs within 2 days of my visit but my schedule did not allow it that soon. Also, McGill guarantees work for 90 days.

They are the go-to people, I can promise you.

The provider did a wonderful job. The new heater works great. I have a new issue due to the previous water heaters installation company and have already contacted McGill to replace the faucet and the hot water line. They did a great job cleaning up after their initial service

I woke up in the morning to find water trickling out of my garage from the bottom of the water heater. Checked Angie's List and McGill's had a coupon and great ratings. Called and got an immediate response with a replacement scheduled for later in the same day. Shortly thereafter, received a call asking if they could come earlier. Repairmen showed up an hour early, started dismantling the old heater, new one was delivered, and he was done within the hour. Not only was the customer service on the phone great, the repairman's personality and service excellent, the price right, and the job completed perfectly, it was done early on the same day. What more can you ask for?? Highly recommend this business!

Our hot water heater in our condo appeared to be ready to give out. It was here when we bought our unit and there were no tags to see how old it was. We scheduled a date for the replacement and we were kept informed of the time they would be here. The plumbers that came out were very courteous and professional. They answered any questions and did not leave any mess. Their quoted price was as good or better than any others received. We went with Mcgill because of their reputation and would do so again.
