We just returned from vacation to find that our water heater had broken and water was flowing from the garage. We called McGill who had installed the water heater 9 years ago. They came out with a new water heater within a few hours and had everything back to working order about 3 hours after the initial call. The service technician was very thorough and did a nice job including vacuuming the affected area of the garage and paying attention to making the heater as easily serviceable as possible.

Yes I would use them again they have been here for many years. Did a good job, a little expensive but reliable.

I?d say their price is on the high end of reasonable. They are nearby, they come right away, and they are good. They clean up after themselves.

Arrived 1/2 hr. early which was great since I had to go to work. Work on sink, toilet, and shower was completed in timely manner and work quality was excellent. Bathroom was left clean.

They were wonderful for a long time, and then they started hiring people that weren't good. I would have to have a recall. Their work was often sloppy. The person I needed to get in touch with seemed like he didn't care. He was new to the company.

I called because I heard gurgling in my sink when I do my washing. He came out and determined that my pipes weren't big enough and that I needed a different type of toilet because it was slow to flush. He used a coat hanger to remove a huge clog of hair. I have yet to do anything with the pipe size so the sink continues to gurgle.

This was the first time I had used their services. They came on time were very professional, did a great job and cleaned up well. I am very satisfied.

I don't know how their pricing compares to other companies but they did a good job.

They weren't able to do the complete job. They wouldn't do the tile work so I couldn't choose them.

They did very well. The house was having low water pressure problems. I put the water softener (W/S) in bypass mode and pressure improved. I called McGill (installer of original system - about 9 years old). Softener media had started deteriorating and clogging the W/S system (installer/plumber found residue in toilet tanks). They offered several less-expensive options to fix, including replacing resin tank only, along with potential risks of each option. I decided to replace the entire W/S system. I left the installer at home (system located in garage) and returned to work while he ordered the new system, installed the new system, and closed the garage when finished. The installer called me when the job was complete.

They didn't initially fix the problem. But they were very responsive to my concerns. They were punctual and I was very impressed by their integrity. They care about the work they do. They are people of their word. Refreshing experience.

I called in mid morning and explained the situation to the receptionist. She informed me that they would have a rep there between 1 PM and 4 PM that day. The plumber was there at 1:15 PM, quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate and began working once I was informed. He was knowledgeable, polite, courteous, and did not waste time. This was my first experience with McGill Plumbing, and it was a good one. I will use them again in the future.

THEY CHARGED ME $695 PER HEATER, AND GAVE ME $50 OFF EACH BECAUSE I ORDERED TWO. THIS INCLUDED ALL LABOR, MATERIALS, ELECTRIC AND WELDING. THEY WERE MUCH CHEAPER THAN ANOTHER COMPANY I CALLED.

CALLED MCGILL TUESDAY 7/12 TO GET A PRICE AND ARRANGE SERVICE. WHEN TECHNICIAN ARRIVED AND LOOKED AT JOB HE THOUGHT PRICE QUOTED WAS TO LOW AND CALLED COMPANY TO VERIFY. HE DID THE JOB FOR WHAT THE COMPANY QUOTED. HE SEEMED KNOWLEDGABLE AND THE PLUMBER WAS PROFESSIONAL. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE. RECOMMENDED.

THE SERVICE WORKER WAS VERY GOOD AND VERY POLITE.

REQUESTED REPLACEMENT OF TUB/SHOWER VALVE SO THAT WHEN WE SHOWERED, THE WATER WOULD NOT ALSO DRAIN OUT THE LOWER TUB FAUCET. WHEN INSTALLATION WAS COMPLETE FOUND WE COULD NOT REGULATE THE VOLUME OF WATER. WAS TOLD BY THE SERVICEMAN THAT THIS WAS ALL THAT WAS AVAILABLE TO US. VISITED THE MAIN OFFICE AND FOUND THAT FOR AN ADDITIONAL $115.00 A PART COULD HAVE BEEN ADDED THAT WOULD ALLOW REGULATION OF THE VOLUME OF WATER. MCGILL SENT ANOTHER SERVICEMAN OUT TO INSTALL THAT PART-AT THE ADDITIONAL COST TO US. IF WE WERE TOLD THE OPTIONS UP FRONT, WE COULD HAVE REQUESTED THE ABLILITY TO REGULATE THE VOLUME OF WATER UP FRONT AND SAVE THEM AND US MONEY.

MCGILL REPAIRED THE LAWN IRRIGATION SYSTEM FOR A MUCH BETTER PRICE THAN OFFERED BY MY PREVIOUS SPRINKLER COMPANY.
