It went very well. They were prompt and professional. They were there exactly when they said they would be and got the repair handled very quickly. Wayne was very professional and I will definitely call them for any of my plumbing needs in the future.

Purchased a deal for drain cleaning after another local plumber had cleared the drain just one month before. MacGill was prompt, efficient, responsive to questions and special requests. It appears as if they clear the line further for a little less, with this special deal it was even cheaper. They did the job well, cleaned up after themselves and i HAVEN'T HAD A PROBLEM SINCE. I will definitely use them again.

We had a plumber from this company come yesterday when we called re: a slow flushing toilet and he didn't seem eager to diagnose the problem; when he got here the toilet seemed 'okay' and he didn't offer any thing but a reduced service fee; of course, the toilet was 'gurgling' this morning and I called back; today a different plumber came (name is Ryan and he's an asset to the company!) and after asking me a few questions used an auger which showed lots of roots; he pulled the toilet and quickly and cleanly cleared the roots, replaced the toilet including putting some new, clean grout around the base. He gave me the charge and then reduced it by the fee I had paid yesterday. All in all, a very fair price and I'd use this company again although I'd ask for Ryan next time.

Went very well. Seemed surprised I didn't have a "problem" to fix, that I was being proactive, maintenance. Did thorough job, had some time left when he finished so he offered to do any other minor work. So I had him inspect a bathroom. Great job all around.

I called at 3:00 pm after having had a house flooding situation and asked the scheduler if they could work me in that afternoon. He checked and said someone would be out as soon as possible. About an hour later Ernie arrived and asked me diagnostic questions and assessed the suspected blockage by looking at my sewer flow issues. Less than an hour after his arrival he had augured out the lines and was packed up and ready to leave. I received the 10 dollar off coupon that I was reminded to present and the total was about 150 dollars. I checked homewyse.com/ and this is an average price for my zip code. I am very pleased with the service that I received and will definitely be calling back for future service.

I had purchased a drain cleaning through Angie's List "Big Deal" for $99.00. They set a date, but ended up running late, so we rescheduled for a few days later. The guys came out and went right to work. They were done in less than 1/2 hour. Very friendly and nice, quick service. I will use them again for plumbing.

The repair required two trips through no fault of McGill's. It was originally discovered that the leak was below where the pipe met the slab, so I had to wait for my insurance adjuster to review the situation. The second trip went very well and I felt the repair was performed quickly for what was needed. Everyone I dealt with at the company was pleasant and accommodating of my needs. It's always concerning when you use a new service provider, but McGill's was a good decision.

Technician Mike replaced our old leaky water heater with a new American made unit. Service was prompt and very professional. I had taken a picture of the old water heater to McGill plumbing the day before for an estimate and they did the installation the next morning. Excellent job all around and the very reasonable cost was the same as the estimate. I would definitely use McGill for my future plumbing needs.

On April 1, 2013, McGill Plumbing came to clear out drains. Although I'd mentioned that this had occurred just 6 months prior, I was told that it was not necessary to use a camera to diagnose the problem. On April 29, the same stoppage occurred. When I explained that I had requested using a camera during McGill's first visit, I was told that I could receive a discounted rate of $95/hour on the next visit for clearing the stoppage and using a camera for diagnostics. During the second visit, this price was not honored and I was told by the supervisor that the rate would be $250/hour to diagnose the problem. Additionally, it would require another visit in order to do so! I can snake out a line easily, I need a plumber with a camera to determine what the cause might be, it doesn't require 3 visits or deceptive customer practices to do this. Do not take a verbal pricing quote. May 3, 2013 Shane, the General Manager called and scheduled to come back and diagnosis the cause of the stoppage at no charge. I appreciate the effort to make amends and complete the job.

Work was done quickly and professionally

I went to McGill's showroom on the Saturday prior to the work being done to discuss the work, pick out fixtures, and get prices. The work was scheduled for the following Monday. I was called prior to the plumber's arrival to announce he was on his way. When he arrived, we briefly discussed the work and he got busy. The problem was with the shower faucet as it was very old and took a bit of work to replace the cartridge and fixture. Overall, the plumber that came to the house was very neat and clean; I mentioned how I appreciated this and his comment was that he wanted to leave a job just the way he would want his house to be. Unfortunately, the next day we started to have a leak again in the shower; I called the office and it was no problem, they were going to send someone out plus they worked with my schedule as best as they could. A different plumber came out but was able to resolve the shower drip issue; because the cartridge in the shower fixture was so old and brittle, a few parts had broken off and were still in the pipe. He was able to clean those out and fix the leak - at no charge, of course. A few years back someone had recommended that we call McGill Plumbing for some remodel work and unfortunately we went with another company. Big mistake - to this day I can see the mistakes the other company made. Lesson learned! Going forward, any plumbing that I need I will call McGill Plumbing.

I came home to sopping wet carpet. I called McGill's emergency line and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. The team arrived and within 30 minutes had found the leak in a pipe behind the guest bath cabinet. They stopped the leak and cleaned up the mess. They had to cut out a part of the back of the cabinet as well as the drywall. They were professional and I have had no further problems.

He chipped my sink and offered no compensation for his error. Then he over-charged me by hundreds of dollars compared to other plumbers.

From start to finish they were awesome. The scheduling was so fast that they were out at our house immediately. We had a veeeeeeeeeeeeery old and crusty water softener, water heater, and toilet that had to be removed and new ones put in. We chose a pretty high tech water softener and water heater that definatley required more work on their end, but everything was done quickly and efficiently. My husband said they were like Seal Team 6 :) By the time I came home everything was done. They clearly had done a lot of work. The old toilet, softener and heater had been disposed of by them off our property. The area where they were working was clean and the new equipment was installed well and professionally. We were very happy with the services performed.

It was a quick move into a new house, found the faucet for the washer was totally eroded. They came out next day and got me ready for move it. They came back when I discovered the shower had no hot water. Came next day and changed out faucets in both bathrooms. Both showers worked great - done quickly and on time. Definitely have McGill in my book for plumbing repairs!

I would definitely use McGill's again and Shane for sure. He was about his business, very focused and professional. He even brought in a drop cloth to put down in the work area so he wouldn't dirty my bathroom. Job well done, Thank you!

Dominick arrived early for the appointment and quickly got to work. He quickly identified the problem and explained to me how he was going to repair the issue. He went right to work and soon had the plumbing replaced, showing me both what he did and the removed pieces. After allowing the glue to dry, we checked the system and he demonstrated to me how the water meter no longer registered a leak. He then returned my property (the upset dirt from uncovering the plumbing) to better than when he had arrived (as the county had left a considerable mess). I'm extremely please with the service that I received.

Quote was prompt, service was done by very professional plumbers. Clean up was great. The two jobs required 2 workers for an entire day. All staff were friendly and informative. I plan on having this company do all my future plumbing. I've had many plumbers in the 30 years I've lived here. There is no better plumbing company in my area, at this time.
