Called the provider around 8am, had service to my door by 8:40, maybe even earlier. Didn't milk time or try to add on extra charges. Other providers/contractors were trying to arrange days later and charge $150 MORE for the same job. McGill was professional and prompt. Nothing more I could ask for in a contractor. A+ Recommendation.

They were very helpful. One time the part I needed they had a used one and gave it to me free. Otherwise i world have had to buy a whole new fixture. They always have any part I have needed that Lowes or Home Depot did not carry. They are also very friendly.

It was very good. They did good work, they were courteous, and they did a good job. They didn’t do any finish work, all they did was to remove the old tub and put the new one in.

He came and replaced the shower valve that was leaking with a new valve.

serviceman arrived within scheduled period and we got a call shortly before advising he was on his way. he was friendly, informative, knowledgable and quick. we are very, very happy with this company.

Called McGill Plumbing after normal hours. I believe they start charging after hours pricing at 5:00 pm. Aftet hours price/hour is $135.00. Shane came to my home and immediately went to work pulling out the old shower stem and replacing it. He explained what had to happen during the repair and went to work. He was neat, courteous, focused, and professional. The time that passed between my call and when the plumber arrived was satisfactory. I would say it took about an hour for him to respond. This is my second call to McGill Plumbing. I was satisfied with my service on both occasions.

I had a block in the main drain that caused my shower, sinks and toilets to backup. It was late on a Saturday afternoon. I originally called a competitor but they could not even estimated a time the plumber could arrive, at least 4 hours or more. I had water seeping out from underneath the bathroom wall so I wasn't to happy with the vague wait time. I read the reviews on McGill and decided to give them a try. They answered promptly, had one of their plumbers call me back within 15 minutes and he was at the house in less than an hour. He diagnosed the problem quickly, cleared the drain, tested all the drains and answered all of my concerns. He gave me good advice and was extremely helpful and friendly. Didn't try to sell me any extra services. The other service never called back or sent anyone, I'd still be waiting for them today. Both companies were on Angie's list but the other company had some not great reviews. So glad I decided to keep searching. I would recommend McGill to everyone.

At first I couldn't believe that I would have to have a hole put into the block of my home. But they were absolutely right and very skillfully found the leaks immediately upon exposing the pipes. Evidently, these were old pipes and had hairline splits in them and I could see the water gushing out when it was turned on. The plumbers made sure that I understood everything that they were doing and they were very professional and very skilled in their work. I was very happy with the end result as I didn't have any more leaking pipes!

It turned out to be a cracked nut on the valve itself. As usual the service was excellent but they are on the pricey side.

I purchased a Delta faucet about 18 months ago to replace my old one. It started leaking from the faucet whenever the water was turned on. I researched plumbers on Angie's list, made my decision and called to ask for advice. The person in the office who answered the phone was very nice, asked me to wait because my situation was different as I was asking for some advice and expertise. She came back several minutes later and told me she would have one of the sales guys call me. About 30 minutes later I got my call and information. I made the appointment for today. Bill M was out to help me. Within 5 minutes of arrival he had the problem diagnosed and within 10 minutes fixed. He was very professional listened to what I was telling him. He completed his work and made sure that I had no further leaks; he also dried off all the hoses that had water on them. I have had several encounters with plumbers in the recent past but will be using McGill for any future needs. Thanks Bill M. you are a "Superstar".

They're very professional and the salesman knew everything there was to know about plumbing. They were a little pricey at $95 an hour, but in the end it was worth it.

The technician was on-time, appeared to work efficiently, and it took half the time that was originally estimated. The few parts he needed were dropped off by another employee so he didn't have to stop working or leave the site. He was friendly and courteous. No mess was left when the work was done either. Above all, i felt the price was very reasonable. Especially since I had gotten a quote from another company for the same work for over $600! I would definitely recommend McGill and I will use them again in the future.

Had a leaky outside faucet. Called mid morning for service. Promised someone in afternoon. By 4 pm no service. Called back. Service within 30 min. Obviously lost service request. But service was excellent once arrived on site. Very helpful. Made good suggestions.

I called for service around 8:15am and they gave me a service window from 10am-1pm. They gave my a courtesy call when they were on the way. Wayne showed up around 10:45 to evaluate and fix the pipe. He called for a drain cleaning truck before he started. When he was packing up Dominick (sp?) showed up with the drain cleaning equipment. Both parts of the job went very smoothly. Wayne and Dominick were very professional and courteous and represented McGill very well! I would recommend their services.

McGill's did a great job on my new sink and faucet installation. I thought I was going to try to do it myself, but decided against it and called in McGill's. He had the sink and faucet replace in about 1 1/2 hours, including cleaning up after himself. The techician also took a few minutes to answer my questions about swapping out the fixtures in the tub and shower, while I was trying to educate myself about a possible next project. They were quick and efficient and well appreciated.

All work was completed with no problems and work areas were cleaned up. A little pricey....but I would recommend them and would use them again.

The repair was completed within 2 business days of my call. The serviceman was prompt and did a great job. He had to dig up the grass at the seawall and install a dual transition line to bypass the broken tube. I am very please with this company and the professionalism of both their office and field teams.

Ryan arrived on time after his dispatcher called to let me know he was on the way. He located the leak and while fixing it engaged me in conversation, gave me some plumbing tips, even told a couple of jokes! He cleaned up the area well when he completed the work. I will use McGill's for future plumbing needs.

The first technician Ryan was great and we were so confident that he was able to solve the problem. Ryan also came out on the second visit and suggested the camera however I wanted to discuss it with my husband, so the decision was postponed. The third tech that came out when we had requested the camera did not have the camera but did find our clean-out drain outside. The next visit Ryan came back with the camera and showed the video of our drain, but I still was not convinced. We spoke to Ray and he came out to do some investigation to provide a quote for the service and he assured me they would double check again before moving forward with the work, because it entailed going under the concrete in my kitchen. Of course, Murphy's Law comes into play and all this is happening with less than a week before my in-laws were coming to visit. It was an extremely stressful process because we had visitors, were planning to leave on an extended trip and did not want to incur the large costs right before our trip. Ray scheduled John and Brandon to come out and do the job. They were great and arrived on time and got to work. Ray came and verified the issue was exactly as Ryan had shown me on the video. The guys had to jack hammer the floor under my stove and it was questionable if we would have to remove the cabinets because of the pipes location. The work went on for two days and in the end I had a patch of concrete completely hidden under my stove. The guys were very professional and I believe the level of service was excellent. I wish we did not have to pay so much, but for the work that was done it was definitely worth the price.

Called on a Fri late, came first thing on Monday morning as agreed upon by both of us. He was on time and very very pleasant and professional. Brought a ladder high enough for our roof and also a very powerful rooter to unclog the blockage. All took under an hour. Very very pleased with the gentleman who was sent to help us. We purchased a new toilet from the company, there price was very comparable to the box stores.

I called McGill Plumbing right after signing up for the online deal on Angie's List, and was able to schedule an appointment for the very same day. The plumber was here within 1 1/2 hours from when a purchased the deal. You can't get more responsive service than that. Everything is flowing beautifully now in my bathroom. I was very pleased with the entire transaction.

We had a overflowing toilet which flooded our house 07/2013. It was partly a clog and also just water from the tank. We needed to hire a plumber and not having a whole lot of luck with plumbers in the past, I decided to find a plumber here on Angie's list. Ryan from McGill came out and snaked the main line that services the bathrooms and he also changed the flappers and seals of the toilets. He went above and beyond to accommodate us as well as the chaos that was my house that day.

He said I needed 3 new toilets because they weren't flushing properly. I decided that all I needed to do was raise the water level in the tanks, which I did. Now they work fine.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went pretty well. He actually fixed a problem that others were not able to fix. The only issue I had was that he did not put any protection over his shoes and he really did not smell good. Other than that, finally somebody fixed what was wrong. He got in a car accident.

During kitchen demolition it was noted that the water valves to the sink required replacing and were leaking. Since this was a time sensitive issue I called and they came out the same day. Service was prompt and courteous with Derick explaining everything that needed to be done and how he was going to address the issue. Very pleased!!
