 + -1 moreEXCELLENT SERVICE, VERY PROFESSIONAL. VERY FAST, AND VERY GOOD QUALITY WORK. THEY WERE IN AND OUT IN ONLY 2 DAYS, AND ENDED UP DOING THE LAUNDRY ROOM AND ALL MY CLOSETS, WHICH WERE NOT EVEN MENTIONED IN THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE. THE CREW THEY SENT OVER WAS VERY SKILLED. HAD ALL THE WALLS IN THE HOUSE AND FLOOR COVERED IN PLASTIC SHEETING IN ABOUT 1/2 DAY, 1/2 DAY TO REMOVE ALL OLD POPCORN, AND ANOTHER DAY TO RETEXTURE. WHEN THEY WERE DONE THEY JUST REMOVED ALL THE PLASTIC, AND ALMOST NO MESS AT ALL (I HAVE TILE FLOORS WHICH MAKES FOR EASY CLEANUP ANYWAY). I HAD MENTIONED THAT I WAS A MEMBER OF ANGIES LIST AND THAT I WOULD WRITE A REPORT ON THEIR WORK. RESULTS LOOK VERY GOOD, I AM A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER. NICE TO KNOW THERE ARE SOME GOOD QUALITY CONTRACTORS OUT THERE.
Description of Work: REMOVE ACOUSTIC CEILING (''POPCORN'') FROM MY ENTIRE HOME, AND RETEXTURED WITH KNOCK-DOWN. ALSO FIXED THE APEX OF MY VAULTED CEILING, WHERE THE OLD TAPE WAS COMING OFF AT THAT EXPANSION JOINT. TOTAL HOUSE AREA IS APPROX 2100 SQ/FT. HOUSE WAS EMPTY AT THE TIME.

 + -1 moreQUOTE WAS MADE OVER THE PHONE FOR $325. WE THOUGHT IT HIGH, BUT JOE SAID HE ALWAYS QUOTED THAT WAY. HE PROMISED IF THE JOB WAS SMALLER THAN ANTICIPATED HE WOULD ADJUST COST. JOB TOOK ABOUT 2 HOURS. PRICE WAS $175 INCLUDING SUPPLIES. WE FELT IT WAS A FAIR PRICE. EXCELLENT WORK - THEY LEFT NO MESS!
Description of Work: REPAIRED WALL AND CEILING AFTER A 4' WIDE WALL WAS REMOVED. SMALL JOB.

 + -1 moreALTHOUGH THEY TOOK CARE TO COVER MY CARPETS FROM THE FRONT DOOR TO THE BEDROOM, IT TOOK ME SEVERAL HOURS THE NEXT DAY TO FINISH CLEANING UP. THEY SWEPT, BUT THERE WAS QUITE A BIT LEFT.
Description of Work: NEW DRYWALL IN BATH AND CLOSET, REPAIR AND NEW TEXTURE IN BEDROOM.

Description of Work: I called Down Under Construction to get estimates for a garage addition. George, at Down Under, wouldnt come out for their advertised free estimate until we had plans drawn even though they also advertise design services. I got their name from the classified ad section of the Dec. Angies newsletter. Maybe business is very good right now, but I would hesitate to do any future remoldeling business with this company.
