Description of Work: I had them come out to clean drain line but they failed to do it correctly. When I had them come back they tried to sell me a new compressor for $2,195. I told him I was goingto get a competitive bid and they called back later and told me it was $1,800. Bayside quoted for $1,500.

Description of Work: Replaced A/C & air duct. Gave us recommendations on the whole airsystem- not just price. Clean up could be improved/ left pieces of duct work & insulation in the attic. We were very pleased with the result! Exceeds code!

Description of Work: OUR AIR CONDITIONER CEASED TO FUNCTION ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER WE HAD A LIGHTENING STRIKE. THEY CAME IN, FIXED THE PROBLEM, AND DID NOT CHARGE US, SINCE THEY HAD JUST RECENTLY DONE AN INSPECTION AND FELT THAT THE NEED FOR REPAIR SHOULD HAVE BEEN SPOTTED WHEN THEY DID THE INSPECTION. WE HAVE DEALT WITH THEM MANY TIMES. THEY INSTALLED OUR PRESENT SYSTEM LESS THAN TWO YEARS AGO. WE HAVE FOUND THEM ETHICAL, EASY TO DEAL WITH.

Description of Work: On a Sunday afternoon, my A/C went on the blink. The unit was only a few years old, so I could not imagine what could be wrong. I went to your web site and chose Airflo because of their proximity to my home. I got through to their answering service. I received a call within minutes. The technician arrived within the hour. He found only a loose wire as the problem, but wrote the work order for $89 emergency charge. I mentioned I wanted a maintenance contract. The technician immidiately offered the yearly contract for only $10 more than the emergency call. The emergency call was eliminated becuase of the contract. That told me some very important things about Erwood. First, they empowered thier assoc. to "do the smart thing" and the "smart thing to do" was to forget the $89 emergency charge and gain a permanent customer.
