I cannot speak highly enough about James and his professionalism. He was punctual and took the time to understand what we needed and explained all the options to us. He fixed and adjusted little things as he came across them without charging me. He happily answered questions and provided recommendations on future projects. I gained a lot of confidence that he was a fair and honest guy when he encouraged me to buy supplies myself, instead of trying to make more money on me by selling me additional supplies. He gave me the 15% Angies List discount (since it came out cheaper than the $25 coupon) and did not charge me an additional service fee when he returned the second day for additional work. James is a great guy and I would highly recommend Magnifico for all of your locksmith needs!

James was AWESOME! He accommodated my crazy schedule, came on-time worked diligently and got all my issues fixed. He didn't leave a mess, and left me feeling like I got great value.

2-The work was well done , what I didn't expect was the big bill he produced after that, I owed him now that I had to pay. He first of all noted on the bill that his service call cost $65.00 of which he deduced the $50.00 credit from Angie's list towards that and charged me $15.00 above that for his service charge. Then he charged me a labor charge. $20.00.. I told him I was not satisfied with the way he charged but he said that I only paid the $25.00 for the big deal. He didn't take in account that the big deal of $50.00 worth. Every service company I have had puts the service charge towards the work. This was a real rip-off, I hope he is not doing this to all the big deal clients. I have used many big deals on Angie's List and have never been charged a service call that does not include any work, just to show up and didn't put any of that towards the work to be done, above all I still owed him for his service call before he started the work. But best of all he didn't tell me that before the job, I wouldn't have had him do any of the work, not for the price he was charging. He only presents the bill after. and then he argued about the way he did that, I was so fed up. I paid him. I will never use him again and from now on before I have anyone come out to do a big deal I will ask how much they charge, if they charge a service charge, which would eat up the Angie's list big deal before any work was done. He did the work in 20 minutes.

Great service. Arrived early, did all the work promised plus made sure I was happy before he left. Very professional, very personable. I would for sure recommend him to others.

This went extremely well. I was very happy with the service provided. I thought that the storm shutters on my new home would require new locks as the previous owner had lost the keys. But he fashioned new keys on the spot and saved me alot of time and money. We set up the appointment for a Sunday (very convenient). He called 15 minutes early to let me know he was on his way. He checked the locks and set about fashioning new keys for the existing locks. Checked all of the storm shutters and when it turned out that there were two different locks fashioned keys for the other set of locks as well.

This is the second time that I used this company. Very trustworthy, prompt, and knowledgable. Would definitely use him again.

I received a quick call back to the message I left and was able to schedule for the next day. Magnifico showed up on time, and the locksmith was professional and pleasant. Job was completed quickly and for the price quoted along with the discount since I booked after finding them through Angie's List. I couldn't be happier with the experience.

He rekeyed all of my locks and did some work to make a lock fit that had been crocked. Scheduling was immediate. The service was very good.

I assumed I needed a new door lock and handle for my front door, the latch wasn't catching and the only way the door would stay closed was to lock it. I told Magnifico this was the case, but they came out and fixed the issue instead of replacing the entire lock and latch - saved me a ton of money. Plus he turned me on to his coupon for additional savings. Great company, great service, would use again.

I needed to have the locks changed in all the doors of my new house. Called James and he offered to be there the next day to give me an estimate for the work. He evaluated the job and gave me a fair price. He was able to re-key all the locks and had to replace one door know because it was not working correctly. He was professional, courteous, and very thorough. A true master at his craft. I will definitely hire him again and would recommend him to all my family and friends.

Magnifico is something special. His name is appropriate for his quality of work, his skill, his punctuality and personality. He did above and beyond what he was expected to do. The prior tenants had left a poorly functioning knob and lock assembly which he had not anticipated having to replace. He gave a job price, honored the special deal coupon reducing the price by $25 and when the job was twice as long as a standard call would be, he did not change his price and even refused to accept a gratuity (which I slipped into his pocket nevertheless). Terrific service! Came within an hour of my call. At first it looked as though the door handle would have to be replaced, but he tried the less expensive option of replacing just the latch. That worked. He then noticed that the security slide on the adjancent door was not properly seated and fixed that as well. Neat, professions, courteous and helpful. Highly recommend.

LOOK NO FURTHER FOR A GREAT LOCKSMITH! I called Mr. James Magnifico due to an incident at my home. He answered the call himself and responded immediately; he was at the house within an hour of my call. As soon as he arrived we immediately knew we'd hired the BEST locksmith because he was professional and friendly, and understood exactly what was needed. We needed to have locks rekeyed for security reasons and also wanted to have all locks set to one master key. James was great! He worked efficiently and carefully. Our sense is that he is a true modern day craftsman. We say this because he found a few things not to his standards and corrected them. It is obvious that he is highly skilled and cares about outcomes. The end result was great. The house is secure and the doors close and lock like precision vaults. After we settled our account, a friend who was visiting was so impressed that he asked for Magnifico's contact information as he needs some lock work and he is going to use James. We will always use and recommend Mr. James Magnifico from this point in time forward.

Having purchased the Angie's list discount coupon offered by Magnifico, I received an email from the company offering a choice of appointment dates/times. I called and spoke with James Magnifico, the owner/locksmith who was able to appear within 45 minutes once I described the unusual nature of the problem. Upon inspection he agreed it was a humdinger and immediately set out to solve the problem. it took quite some time to be able to dismantle the lock because the rods locking the door into the frame were "stuck" because of a bent plate inside the "thingamabob" -- as well as I understood the situation! The point is HE did and after quite a bit of work and analysis offered me two solutions. We attempted one which wasn't right and immediately went to number two which worked like a charm! Through it all James was EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL, knew exactly what he was doing and at the end of the day managed to get the lock and door knob working perfectly. We can now open an important point of entry/exit that had been lost to us for years and for that we are very grateful. While he was here we asked him to look at our living room sliding glass door because the lock wasn't catching as the plate or whatever had moved and he gladly spent the ten or so minutes it took to repair that as well! When he handed me the bill I was honestly astonished at how low the price was, even considering the $25 I had prepaid to purchase the coupon -- so I insisted on throwing in an extra $10 as a "tip"! Needless to say we've found "our locksmith" and will be using him in the future when needed! Thank you, James!
