I didn't have a lot to move but I was in a time constraint. They managed their scheduling to squeeze me in on a Friday afternoon. The job took less than hours because the two guys were fast and careful. Definitely not their first rodeo and they enjoyed their work.

Out of 6 moves and 25 years as a military wife I have NEVER had a worse experience with a "professional" moving company. Sam, Karen, Bert and Collin were all very pleasant. Rene the owner is quite possibly the worst in customer service and caring I have ever come across in 25 years. Her lack of a timely response and so much as even an apology was appalling. Please see the email and photos below, only getting a response after 4 emails and prodding. We always expect a few bumps and bruises, this was a disaster. Time management was the worst I have seen, professional care in handling of our items was simply a complete failure. This is not our first move, we have always used 15 extra large blankets with added paper pads and not had any significant damage. These guys managed to destroy all of our antique mahogany furniture in one move (pictures can be provioded coming off the truck) My couch was ripped by our outdoor chimney that was placed on top of the couch by the professional movers at LOL Transport. Nothing that we packed in boxes or covered our self was damaged, just the items handled and loaded by LOL Movers. They were over budgeted time allowance by 4 hours, that was not included in the delay on the trailer delivery just from mismanagement of the day. They required that the labor be paid for in cash, now looking back to cover themselves from any claim on a credit card for negligence. Clearly they have legally covered themselves due to lack of professionalism and care. I highly suggest that you choose anyone in the area over LOL Transport. Do not pay in cash and make sure you read all the reviews. Email String: Karen, Good Morning, I have yet to receive a call or any offer of resolution on this move. Never in our many years of military moves have I seen such damage or lack of customer service. I have gone to the BB of Land O Lakes and seen the response on complaints. I would at the very least expect a call from Rene or Wes in regards to the way James handled the moves and the lack of care on our belongings. It will at a minimum cost $250.00 to repair the couch arm rip if Kanes Frurniture can source the fabric needed. The antique furniture that is scraped so badly the carvings are gone are not able to be repaired. My bad choice for trusting in LOL movers as a reputable moving company. Your contract for the most part does absolve you, so I am sure you will just hope that we go off quietly and deal with this. Working with local attorney's, home builders, realtors, and military groups in Tampa, I assure you this will not be the case. I wanted a resolution for the time management and lack of care of my belongings. I am hurt by the lack of response in a timely manner and the negligence of James specifically. You did not want to purchase additional protection pads and told them to make due with what they had. Company liability was also waived by you at that time for your negligence.Also, per our contract, once your furniture is loaded onto a "public vehicle", we no longer are liable for the way it is transported and delivered. I did not tell them "to make due" but again your lack of caring an ugliness is apparent. 17 quilted blankets and 6 paper pads were sufficient on all our other professional moves, so I will defer the pictures of the rusty outdoor chimney that was placed on top of my fabric sofa and every other piece of furniture that was not covered. I find it sad that it took this many days and such an ugly response with out any effort to offer an apology. Karen has been wonderful, but now I see the real issue here. We have had so many good moves in the past and due to Sams sale of using quality crews not day labor I chose Land O Lakes Movers. I will be forwarding this email string with photos on with documentation to the BBB, Builders, Family Readiness Team Coordinators for MacDill, as well as many Realtor friends in the area. You are covered legally, I was not asking for much just to acknowledge that this was a mess. I moved from Brooksville to Clearwater on a day that was threatening rain -- They made it out of my house in Brooksville before it stormed and into my place in Clearwater before the rain came. These guys were so nice and made everything so easy -- I would use them again if I need to move. They took really good care of my furniture and possessions -- can't say enough good about them!

Very responsive by phone. They scheduled an estimate, day of it they had to reschedule due to employees calling in sick. Estimator had to drive a truck that day. Hmmmm, that tightly scheduled ? Finally estimator arrives and keeps gasping at number of boxes, "oh no cant do this With 1 truck" or One day, "oh no, definitely need 2 trucks" FYI THEY DO NOT HAVE TRACTOR TRAILER TRUCKS,! Estimate was very, very high PLUS EVERYTHING WAS AN ADD-ON fee Turns out estimator had UNDERestimated a few jobs just day before and we think he was nervous and over reacting We called and operations manager revised it a little bit Please read update as well.. Lots of confusion regarding insurance in my conversations with this company: Finally we were at the at point of discussing the options for insurance Beware angies list folks, LOL ONLY has the STATE REQUIRED 60cents a lb coverage available! your big tv will only be reimbursed $30 if fully damaged! Most of the better companies have the insurance available...If not replacement cost, AT LEAST valuation insurance is available or EVEN INCLUDED IN THE PRICE! As highly as angies list recommended this company, we could not take the risk with our furniture. The multiple estimates and over estimating were frustrating as well Do your homework if you consider them. The phone staff is very kind and helpful. ------- Updated Very strange response from LOL MOVING as it turns out 1 day after we moved! Although in their response they say they have insurance available, they told me on the phone during my last round of calls that they had no insurance available, only the 60 cents. Not sure why the misinformation. I remember being quite surprised at their response and asking the question more than once. My advice is to clearly have their policy in writingprior to signing contract. They were helpful in many respects. HOWEVER, I don't consider their estimates competitive. We moved in April with a different company for $ 800 less than LOL's quote AND it included insurance. {25 % difference!}. (Ended up not needing the insurance, because nothing was damaged by this other company.)

Move went fine, except I locked the door on my old home leaving all my keys inside. Called LOL office and they were very kind, explaining things like this happen. This put the guys behind, but no complaints from them. They put all my furniture and boxes in the new home and were even able to fit all the boxes I had had in 2 rooms into one as I requested. Also put floor protectors I had bought under some of the heaviest furniture so that I could move it myself later on. Front office ladies Rene and Karen were always quick to respond and provide estimates and assistance. Price actually came in under amount that was quoted which was a really nice surprise. I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again in a heartbeat in the future.

They showed up on time, nothing was damaged and all items were handled carefully. The 2 movers worked non-stop and were pleasant and respectful.

A few day's before our move someone came to our home & gave us an estimate, he was very professional and polite. On moving day the movers arrived on time, they were friendly, professional and hard working. They carefully moved our belongings with out damage. Upon completion we were pleasantly surprised that the actual cost was slightly less that the estimate!

LOL Transport & Moving truly made our move from our 3rd floor apartment in Land O Lakes, FL to Brooksville, FL as "smooth as butter". The crew that moved us, Tim, Joe, and Detrix were professional, courtesy, cheerful, and undaunted in the task ahead of them. We were moving to a rural area and the roads to the new house were limestone and sand (no blacktop) and the truck got stuck in the sand about 100 feet or so from the garage. They thought they were going to need another truck to get them out, but Tim, Joe, and Detrix were real troopers and did not let this stop them from getting the job done within the allotted time frame and proceeded to unload the truck, without incident, from where they were and toted most of the load 100 feet from the truck to the garage. Once the load was lightened, they successfully got the truck unstuck, and I was impressed by their determination and perseverance. Also, they thought quickly on their feet, made no excuses and just plowed ahead to get it done. Moving is stressful enough in itself, and to have such a great team of men and a dedicated company working for you to truly make your move as smooth as butter has bragging rights as far as I'm concerned and highly recommended LOL Transport & Moving if you ever have to move!

All went well. Guys were very good about where everything was to go. Worked hard and got it done quickly. Cord to TV got stuck in box and left with them....they brought it back the next day to my house. Very good service and nice people on the phone and in person.

It went really well. They were excellent and very, very affordable. They were so professional and obviously well trained to the point of remembering things I did not even think to ask and I had quite a few moves in my past. I can't say enough good things about them. We since then relocated to New York and I would of used them again but they only do moves in the state of Florida.

Great bunch of people to work with from Karen the office to the men unloading. Did exactly as expected. Showed up on time and had the POD's unloaded and everything put in the house where told, assembled beds and mirror on dresser all within less than 2 hours. Would definitely use them again.

Initial contact went well and a in-home inventory was performed prior to move. LOL were very detailed and accurate. Our concern was reassembling the washing machine and dryer at the new location and the guys handled this request without a second thought. Overall move took 2-days, one for loading and another for unloading. During the whole move process my 2 yr old was present and the guys made extra effort to ensure she could even take her afternoon nap. Customer service was exemplary and the follow-up call was fast and prompt. They weren't necessarily the cheapest quote received but they gave us the comfort of peace of mind during the move process. As anyone knows having confidence in your movers is paramount and we were definitely satisfied. Plan on move one more time next year and they will be o top of our list. - Kieron.I

They did a really good job. The lady that scheduled everything was very efficient and nice. And the two kids that did the moving were super nice and very professional, and very considerate of my stuff and very quick too. It was a very good experience. I have used them several times and that was like the best experience I have ever had. They were great.

My Mother-in-Law and her partner are moving from to Land O' Lakes to Reno. They are using a POD to do the move, and being in their 70's, all of that packing and moving boxes is a little tough for them, but they were sure trying. My husband was helping them, but also has to work, and had a big job to do on Friday. We called LOL Transport & Moving and asked for a crew to help the folks load their POD. Karen was very responsive, and even though it was 2:00 on Thursday, she had two guys at our folks place the next morning at 8:30. Cedro and Chili were great. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional and efficient. There is a two hour minimum on the labor charge, which is fair enough, and these guys had everything in the POD in about an hour and a half. I know paying for movers isn't normally a going-away present, but thank you LOL Transport & Moving. You saved everyone a lot of work and frustration. We have known many friends who have used them in the past, but this is the first time we had to, and it was definitely money well spent.

I contacted Land O Lakes Transport and Moving about a month before our move and spoke to Karen. She was very courteous and knowledgable. Karen and I went over the furniture to be moved room by room, and she sent the estimate within a day. The day of the move the gentlemen showed up right on time and had us loaded in no time at all. They were very professional and careful, and we had no damage at all. They unloaded at our new house in the same careful manner, and were very accommodating to our requests. The day after the move, even though it was a Saturday, the owner of Land O Lakes Transport and Moving Rene called us to see how the move went which is a great part of customer service. I am very happy with Land O Lakes Transport and Moving, and would definitely use them in the future.

This company's Angie-rating is "A" & the Angie-ad says their service area = State Of Florida. When I called to ask for a quote to move furniture from a 1 story, 4 bedroom home in Cape Coral to a 1 story, 4 bedroom home in Lake Wales, I was told they it was not a move they could make because their office is too far away from Cape Coral. Land o Lakes movers may be a good local mover, but their advertising is misleading.

Excellent, professional service. I could not ask for more. They were on time, worked carefully, taking excellent care of all the furniture. All done very fast. So fast that the entire moving was done 1 hour less than the estimate. As a result, they charged well less than budgeted. The whole process was very easy and quickly. Awesome job !

Overall the process was awesome. The crew really cared about what they were doing for us. LOL made the moving process painless and they were super efficient.

They were great. They worked quickly and efficiently. We actually paid less than their quote. Rene in the office is great to deal with. She followed up with us to see how the move went and even sent a hand written note thanking us for our business!

Movers indicated they would arrive between 8 and 10 am, and they arrived exactly at 8 am, they went to work immediately and never took a break! Had the house completely packed and on the truck by noon, 2 1/2 hour drive to our new residence, unpacked and reassembled beds, etc by 7 pm. It was a long day, but the crew never stopped until the move was done. I have over 30 years experience as a military claims officer and I can tell you that the LOL guys were excellent, everything was packed very carefully and securely -- no damages at all! We plan to move to a new home in about a year or so, and we will use LOL and request the same crew of Tim, Dave and Slavic again.

The moving company was on time and did and excelent job of moving everthing safely to their proper location.

The scheduling was great - and helpful in that most of the conversation could be held via email. LOL Transport was very accommodating with respect to timing the arrival of the moving technicians to the approximate arrival time of the equipment that needed to be moved. The technicians were friendly, quick, and responsive when on site. This was a great company to work with, very professional all around.

The experience was very good, they did a very good job. The company that drove the truck down was helpful as well.

The move went better than expected. have moved several times and always had some kind of issue but not wth LOL no hassles no worries.

They worked quickly and did a really great job. I would use them again in the future if needed.
