Description of Work: We're really glad we contracted Cornerstone. The technician immediately fixed the AC problem and even though it was late (after 7 PM), he took the time to explain what we can do to help maintain the AC / Heat Pump. We were happy with the service and decided to secure a 3-year service contract with Cornerstone. Highly recommended.

Thank you for your review. While we appreciate the A ratings that you have given our company, I am not sure why we received a low score for offering you recommendations on your system. My Tech notes from the day of the call are as follows - Notes added by tech Alex on 2/3/2014 10:11:25 AM "Performed prepaid Angie's tune up flushed drains duct sani cond clean found low r22 very high start amps and badly burnt contactor he is not interested in investing money in 10 year old unit he said he will talk to his wife and decide what to do, nothing used no parts and performed no repairs." We then received a call from you 2 hours after the tech left your home for the tuneup and you advised you where interested in receiving a free estimate for replacement that same day. At that point we turned our tech back around and sent him promptly back to your home to provide you with a Free Estimate on a New System per your request. It is very difficult for me to understand that if you felt we made unnecessary recommendation on our first visit why would you have contacted us back out the same day to provide you with additional recommendations on a new system. As stated above I feel that cornerstone and our tech handled the situation exactly as we should have. We provided you with the cleaning and checkup that you paid for made sound recommendations on a 10year old system with issues and then returned to your home the same day within 2 hours per your request to offer the estimate you requested. As we respect your time and truly value your opinion we would also like to think that our customers do the same in return. You as a consumer are in no way obligated to follow our recommendations as you can see by your appointment. These are only issues that we recommend being fixed for your system to operate at full potential. We did contact you within a few days after your appointment and you advised you where satisfied with both appointments, had we been given an opportunity to discuss this visit and your dissatisfaction we would have done everything to make you a satisfied customer.

Description of Work: We purchased a clean and tune special for 2 units in September 2013. We were contacted within a day and scheduled the appointment. The day of the appointment the technician arrived on time, was polite and set to work. It had been 2 years since we had the AC units looked at so we were not surprised there were a few items that needed to be tended to. The technician was able to address the items same day and we felt the additional charges were reasonable. We subsequently had the company perform a six month checkup in March were no issues were found. We have been pleased with the services and will continue to use Cornerstone.

Description of Work: Serviceman was condescending and did not explain any options. Just said it was probably a leak and the system needed to be refilled with Freon for $90/lb (market price). Then he would also have to charge $350.00 for a follow up leak detection. The $350 would not be included in the cost of repair. Called two other companies and they provided alternatives and options in a professional manner. Plus, leak detection with the other two was $300 for one $250 for other. In both cases the leak detection was included, not extra in the cost of the repair. I have contracted with the company that added Freon to my system (at less than 1/2 the cost offered) and said "call then if there was a problem". New system - $3,500.00.
