We bought a foreclosure in April. Of course middle of hurricane season we start to have a leak in our living room. I had several companies give me a quote on the repair. VE QUILLEN was not the cheapest and not the most expensive. They even made me climb on the roof to actually see the problem not just a photograph. They explained I could fix the issue temporarily with a $50 fix but that I needed to have some work done eventually. I took their advice and loved the honesty. They were punctual and had the work done when they said it would be! Highly recommended!

Vic Quillen, the owner called the day the rain stopped and wanted to begin work. The next morning two men came to our home and began to repair the roof. Not only did they repair our roof, they cleaned up so well that you would never realize any work had taken place. We haven't had a drop from the ceiling since. We all hear horror stories about roofers in south florida but i would recommend this company over and over without hesitation.

They called back immediately. They got into the attic and onto the roof and took photos of the damage so that we could see exactly what they were talking about. They were prompt and the work was done perfectly. This was the 3rd company we had called for the same problem and they found the problem immediately and repaired it. I have had them back since for other inrelated issues and will use them again if needed. Vic followed up with a phone call to see how it went and to make sure that everything was done the way we wanted it. Very professional.

Extremely professional. Inspection and estimate done the day after I called. Work done when scheduled, timely, job site left clean. Everyone was a pleasure to deal with. Other than the shiny new flashing, it would be impossible to tell where the repair was done. Would gladly hire this business again.

Two people came out and it took them maybe half a day to finish everything. They seemed very thorough, they were very detailed with the way the explained things. They were very knowledgable but their price did seem a little steep.

Had Three Different Roof Repairs on the same leak. All of them still having leaks right after. With the June and July having heavy rain, we try one more time to repair the roof. Ask for a quote and they came. They used a different approach then the other roofers did. Right after getting the quote, he was able to answer my concerns and issues before any roofing was done.. They came in on time and immediately went to work. He only took less than day and everything was set and ready. Every since then, there has been heavy showers and there hasn't been any dampness. This was fantastic work and would use this company again if any other issues come up.

Vic and his staff perform the kind of excellent service you rarely find anymore. All elements from beginning to end were just perfect. I called Vic on a weekday morning and left a voice mail. Within a couple of hours he called back. He told me his son would be here at 2PM to take a look at the roof. His son was here at 2PM on the dot and spent a great deal of time in the attic inspecting all the areas that I had told him were problematic. That night, Vic emailed a written estimate that included exactly what would be done with itemized expenses. The cost would be an additional $2k if a valley needed to be rebuilt, which they would not know for sure until they started the work. Once I approved the job with Vic on the telephone, his workers were here the next morning by 8AM. They worked quickly and efficiently, despite the heavy downpours we experienced in the afternoons. The roofers told me that the valley would NOT need to be rebuilt and the lower estimate would apply. They completed four different repairs within a few days. I could not have been happier with the professionalism of Vic, his son, and his entire staff. I would recommend them highly!

Now that rainy season has arrived the leaks were not completely fixed. Vic was quick to respond and I am waiting for further repairs to rectify the situation. Leaks can be very tricky and now that rainy season is here I am sure that they will be able to find the root cause up in the attic.

Vic's crew were amazing. I build homes in CT and have a house in FL. I called for the repair and Vic had his son arrive at my house for the estimate later that day. I explained I was sticking around for the repair, but I had to get back to CT and he did everything possible to accommodate me. In my experience with roofing companies, his price was exactly where it should be. They were so good with the initial repair, I immediately called Vic back when I saw they were working in my community the next day and asked him to help me with another repair. As a home builder, I am used to calling multiple contractors to get a good feel with the contractor doing the work. Vic and his son are a one stop shop for roofing!!!! It was such a good experience with the initial call I never even asked for another estimate, which told myself I would never do. Awesome Company! My only regret is that it took me a month or so to give him the review he deserved.

I noticed that my roof was leaking in three separate areas after a few days of heavy rainfall. One of the leaks had been repaired previously. Naturally, that workman was no longer able to be contacted. I had 3 different estimates on the work and decided to go with Victor Quillen. He and his sons were responsive, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. The estimate I received was competitive and I believe fair. The work was started about a week later (due to rain). The job included replacing some of the wood on the roof due to serious damage. When I arrived home from work the crew was still here. They too were very polite. Victor sent me pictures of the area on the roof once the tile was removed to show the damage and what was being replaced. When his son did the original visit he too had pictures available from inside the roof area to show the damage and areas where the leaks were originating. During the repairs a tile slid off the roof damaging a lawn ornament which was not only replaced but upgraded by Victor. There has yet to be any significant rainfall however I am confident that the problem is resolved. What is just as important however, should one of the leaks not be fixed, I have no concerns as I am certain that it will be taken care of immediately. I highly recommend V.E. I called on Wed and he had someone visit for an estimate on Thursday. We spoke on Saturday and agreed on price and scheduled the work for Monday. The workers came early Monday morning as promised and did the required repairs removing rotten wood, replacing required rusted drip edge prior to beginning the repairs on all edge surfaces. Workers cleaned up after work and were very helpful in discussing how work was progressing during the repairs. This is the second time I've used Vic and his company and I've found them to be outstanding on both occasions .

MR. QUILLEN CONTACTED ME IMMEDIATELY AND HAD HIS CREW ON SITE WITHIN DAYS. HE FOLLOWED UP BY PHONE AND EMAIL TO MAKE SURE THE WORK WAS DONE AND THAT I WAS SATISFIED. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED BETTER SERVICE OR QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP FROM ANY OTHER CONTRACTORS AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND VC QUILLEN.

They're very good. The roof wasn't in real good shape. We were going to replace the roof. I asked Mr. Quillen if it needed to be replaced. He was very honest about it. They did a whole bunch of work up there. Then they came out and I needed to put a couple of bubble windows in the roof. They came and put those in. We had another leak here in the roof. They came in and fixed that. They told me the roof's in pretty good condition now. His son works with him. He said the roof should last the next several years. The weak places are all taken of. I could've gotten a new roof for about $15,000 or $20,000. I spent probably, by the time I got all of this done, about $5000. I was very happy with them. I've used them three times in the past four years. Everytime's been real good. They're very prompt and punctual.

I had a chimney cap replaced for $1200 and I had a roof repair for $2600. They were dependable and prompt. They did what they said they're going to do. They're very straightfroward. They already have an excellent rating. I'm happy.

We used Vic last year for a small repair job - replace an eyebrow over the garage, and used him again for this project. Great job, they arrive on time, work all day and finished each roof in a day. No complaints and all, and they are a pleasure to work with as well.

Contractor, Vic, was extremely personable and helpful on the phone. His team did a terrific job on the repairs which involved removing S-shape roof tiles, removing the tar and other materials that sealed the plywood decking, removing the damaged wood that was involved in the leaks, replacing the damaged wood, resealing the roof and then replacing the S-tiles. None of the tiles were damaged and the repairs are not visible from the street level. (I am not going on the roof to check it out.) Payment was not collected on completion of the job and I was able to charge it when I contacted Vic a few days later. Highly recommend V. E. Quillen Roofing.

They did an outstanding job in a short and urgent period to repair a leak in our roof. They were very fairly priced for the extensive work that they did. They even cleaned up after the fact.

I selected Vic's company based on reviews he had on Angie's list and am very pleased to report that my experience with his firm echos the excellent reviews that were already posted. Vic and his estimators made sure I understood my options for the repair, and once contracted they were very careful to not intiate work until there was a sufficent weather window that would allow them to complete the work without being impeded by rain. The work started and was completed within a three-day time span and I am very pleased with the outcome.
