The employee that came out was extremely honest and conscientious with me. When I spoke with the owner, the day before, he was very professional and had someone out the next day. Their employee was crawling around in my attic, on a hot summer day. I offered him a tip, but he declined. They spent 90 minutes looking for issues, but found none. Their honesty comes from them not taking advantage of someone that really had no idea what was going on. I saw effects from what I thought was a leak, but they told me the truth.

I found this company on Angies list, and as always, was very pleased with this decision.

Quick to schedule initial evaluation; however, took forever (3 or 4 weeks) to follow up with quote and even then it was just a phone call to see if I still needed the work done that I was never given an estimate for. By the time I received the call, I had already hired and had the work completed by someone else. It appears they are a bit disorganized.

We are new owner of this house and the roof was done already in 2006 but the inspector pointed out the few puddles that needed to addressed for the insurance company. Had previously 2 roofers looked at. One told us we need a new roof entirely and asking about 21k. Another one gave us good consultation for what to do but never came back for the price. V E Quillen came and he said there's nothing wrong with and the job they've done before is good quality that will last more than 5-10 years. The owner wrote a letter for the insurance company it took me a several phone calls because he is very busy but that was very nice of them. Thanks so much!

They were easy to talk to. They were very reasonable, reliable, affordable and helpful. The owner particulary went out of his way to be helpful to me.

Vic, the owner sent his son to estimate the repair. I had previously gotten another estimate and V.E. Quillen came in lower and I felt he knew exactly what was needed and had the expertise to do the job properly. I gave him the go-ahead and the job was completed a few days later. The repair work is guaranteed and I can now sleep easy. Very professional from start to finish.

Turns out they only repair roofs and they let us know that it would be in our best interest to get the roof replaced, so they gave us the name of someone who could help us. Turned out the house has extremely bad mold so we will probably look for a different house.

Very knowledgeable and communicative contractor. Recommend highly. I am in Seattle an the contractor is in Florida. This could have been tricky but Vic made it easy. Very trustworthy and professional. Family owned and run business.

Vic Quillen (and his son Devon) were both excellent in addressing questions or concerns from customers....Their quote was exactly the same as one other roofer, but the detail of their work was far better including details about materials which would be used for my roof repair job..The work was postponed (one day) due to potential weather issues, which makes good sense as the the roof is opened up to repair leaking areas..... ...The complete repair job was started and finished in one (1) day which was a Saturday by the way. Their crew was careful to clean the gutters well during & after the repair work was done etc. ....All clean-up was accomplished by the end of the day on Sunday, which included hauling away the rubble; unused tiles; other trash etc...Dust was swept away etc....We will definitely utilize VE Quillen roofing again (without hesitation) if the need arises! These guys embody the Angie's List work ethic...

Phenomenal. He is very nice, and didn't even charge me for an estimate. He was very expedient in sending someone out. I would use him any time! He was so helpful.

As I stated, I got two estimates for the roof repair. I had to call them four times after the gentleman came to look at the roof to get the price. They were 30% higher than the other company (and that INCLUDED the Angie's List discount). I used the other company and will not call them again. I called them because they had a high A rating on Angie's List but prefer PMI, the company that I used.

Phone call, estimator came out, got estimate, they got the job done. Professional and polite.

The project went extremely well. I found V.E. Quillen through Angie's list. I spoke to Vic who sent someone to my house during the day, while I was not home, to inspect the porch and work up an estimate. Vic contacted my via phone and email to review the estimate and schedule the repair. His service tech arrived as scheduled and did a professional job. At the end of the project, Vic arrived to review the work and handed me the invoice. The work was done on time for the cost provided in the initial estimate. It is very difficult to find a good roofer. I would highly recommend V.E. Quillen!

The quote Quillen Roofing provided was 3.5 times what was paid to repair the roof. They are banking on their good reputation with Angies List to get away with outragous quotes and rip people off.

They just gave me an opinion. They came over and estimated roof washing. They said that the tiles were so delicate that they could crack. They have good customer service. They are pretty knowledgeable. I found them very straight forward and honest. If there is a need, I would use them again in the future too.

They were professional and returned my calls promptly. I haven't had the project done yet.

The first try did not get all the leaks and they came back gladly and fixed it again to my complete satisfaction. This is a family-run business and they take pride in their work.

I used them because they were highly rated on the list and I support that rating. They did a good job. They were a little more expensive than other people.

They were excellent. They did an excellent job. The construction person came out and gave me an estimate. They put the roof tiles back on the roof and caulked all of the joints in the wood panels, as needed.

They inspected my whole roof and repaired 2 broken tiles. They only wanted to charge me $10 but I insisted on giving them $20. The work was fast, clean and done in a totally professional manner. I would not hesitate to call them or recommend them for any roofing needs. Very pleased.

No previous repair people could find this leak, but they were able to come in and find it. They're very professional, very knowledgeable. They know there work and they know roofs. They were able to come in and find the source of the leak and repair it. I was very happy with their work.

The company came and provided an estimate and then shortly there after came and did the work. I would call on them again if I needed additional repairs.
