Amazing to do business with! This company showed up on time. The windows and doors were delivered on time and in perfect condition. The workers were very professional, everything was cleaned up and put away everyday they were here. We ordered 1 side door, 1 sliding glass door, 15 windows and 2 electric roll up shutters...all were hurricane proof. We didn't hear any weather or wind in our home when the hurricane swept our coast line October 2016.

They completed the job ahead of the schedule that was given to us. The workers were very professional and they did not leave any mess behind. Mark, the owner, was such an easy going person and went above and beyond to do everything the way we wanted it done. I would definitely recommend them for any of your Hurricane protection needs! We love our windows and armor screen.

Great company to work with. This is my first home and first time installing shutters. They were very patient with my questions, responded to all of my emails, and even called and spoke with me when I needed to understand the process better. They really care about the customer and absolutely care about the service they provide. The installation team arrived at my home on time, told me everything i needed to know, and were incredibly organized, professional, and a pleasure to work with. The end result is i have gorgeous hurricane shutters on my home. I was worried that they may look bulky but the effect was the opposite. They are beautiful and adds beauty to the home as well as a look of safety and preparedness for the hurricane season! The project began with a property survey on or about July 29, 2016, which was the basis for the contracted services we signed for the installation of a motorized Armor Screen Shutter for the Patio, and two side door accordion shutters. This was my primary concern because the patio area consisting of all glass doors was open to wind damage and rain, and was my primary exposure during the hurricane season which was already underway. A second contract was signed on August 26 to replace my aluminum hurricane panels (which were very heavy and cumbersome) with accordion shutters for 13 windows, installation of impact resistant hurricane windows for three bay windows, and replacement of an arch window in the kitchen (10 feet high off the floor) with an impact window, and an Armor Screen for the front entrance door. Minor delays occurred during the project mostly because of issuance of WPB County Work Permits and third party orders of the Armor Screen and Bay Windows which took longer than we would have liked given that it was hurricane season. Luckily for us a hurricane heading our way veered off buying us some extra time. The project was finally underway on or about September 30th and completed by October 5th, with County inspections completed on December 7, 2016. The Windows and shutters worked perfectly when hurricane Mathew went up the Florida Coast on October 6 with sustained winds of over 73 MPH and gusts of 125 MPH, and although the project was not totally completed (Kitchen window need the finishing touches), everything worked as it should have. Mr. Sloan was a perfect gentleman, reassuring us that everything would be fine with the accordion shutters and windows for our first hurricane experience as home owners in Florida. Obviously we were very nervous, but Mr. Sloan's professional staff came by the house before the hurricane to ensure that everything was closed properly and working as it should. We were very pleased with the level of professionalism, devotion and compassion that Sloan Hurricane personnel showed us. We are very pleased with their work and would not hesitate to recommend then to our family and friends, and to anyone looking to replace their windows or install hurricane shutters or Armor Screens which incidentally are excellent choices for hurricane protection.

I chose wisely!! Everybody in the company from Mark, the owner, his wife, Peggy, his chief assistant, Weston, and Mike and the crew of workers are on the same page. You feel valued as a customer, not just a number. They take pride in their work, and are only satisfied if you, as a customer, is satisfied. All my concerns and possible problems were addressed and solved by the company, exceeding my expectations. They project the feeling that they will be there if you need them! Also, I must express my gratitude to Mark for sending a crew out to help me set up my hurricane protection just a day or two after it was installed. Hurricane Mathew came out of almost nowhere, and I really appreciate their assistance in helping me to set up my hurricane screen, which was much more simple than I anticipated. I just want to say that this is a great company, and I am quite sure you will not be disappointed in their workmanship, price, honesty, and availability.

Mark, the owner of the business was a life saver for us during the last hurricane. I had been out of town and had to return to shutter up my house a day before the storm. I could not find my bags of studs and wing nuts and was unable to secure my shutters. After futile attempts at Home Depot and Lowe's (supplies were gone) i called Mark. He went out of his way to meet me at his shop and gave me what i needed at no cost. Who does that these days? I was able to finish my install in the wind and rain and it was all because of Mark's kindness. Something i would not expect with a storm at our doorstep. I had used Sloan Hurricane Protection about a year or so ago to manufacture an accordion door for a job i had. They were on time and the quality and service was great. I even had problems with the install because of a physical disability i have and when i called for suggestions, Mark sent one of his techs out to help me at no charge. Great company, great employees, great products.

Triple A all the way. They were absolutely great. Initially I dealt with Weston Hill, he originally came over and explained the product and measured. Very, extremely knowledgeable. Then I dealt with Mark Sloan, the owner. Extremely helpful. They did absolutely everything they promised to do. Most important, they have a great product, which we now have. The installers were also very nice, cooperative, and did a fantastic job as well.

Their workmen arrived exactly on time, completed the work and cleaned up afterwards. They were polite and answered my many questions about maintenance and upkeep for the shutters. After installation the office called and checked to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the shutters. The day of the hurricane, it was wonderful not having to put drag panels from the garage to put on these doors, but to just close and lock them within minutes. I would recommend this company to my friends and family. I would rate them an A+.

The provider, which was recommended by our insurance company, provided us with a detail estimate of the costs involved along with a payment schedule that reflected the progress of their work. Since our company is located in Birmingham, Al, Mr. Sloan gladly spent a considerable amount of time working with the local homeowners association to get their approval for installation. The provider kept us updated with numerous photographs, which we verified in conversations with the individual living in the house. Not only was Mr Sloan a pleasure to work with on this project, but we are also very happy with the quality of his work. We highly recommend his company to anyone considering any similar product installation.

Excellent! They even had to cut out a section of the exterior block wall to accommodate the additional width of the new French door. Our is an older home, thus the old French door was thinner. Their attention to detail went above my expectations, and my home never felt like a work site!

Sloan Hurricane is a top notch company. Mark worked on my previous home in Boca Raton back in December of 2009. They installed 11 electric Roll Down shutters, 12 of the Clear Hurricane Panels, a couple of the Accordion Shutters and 1 new Impact Window. I have used many contractors over the years and Mark Sloan did everything he said he would. Everything worked Great! In 2013 I moved into a new home in the same neighborhood and had Mark come out and look at what we have. He said most everything was up to today?s code and only needed to replace a couple windows in one opening on my 2nd floor. He did an outstanding job and I couldn?t be happier. They?re coming out at the end of this month to service all my shutters again. I highly recommend Sloan Hurricane Protection.

Perfect. Mark did all the plans and paperwork. when the screens were ready for installation, everything went on schedule. His staff arrived on time and did a great job. Very professional. The inspector came and all passed with approvals. In 2007 I lived in WPB and my realtor suggested I use Sloan for the areas of my historic house that were not protected. Again...Mark made custom screens for all openings (7) using Armor Screen. Again a perfect job.
