Ryan Plumbing

Obviously, my need for a plumber was urgent! I chose three plumbers from Angie's List. The first one's voice mail advised that he was away on vacation. This emergency could not wait four days until his return!! Then I struck pure gold when I contacted Ryan Plumbing. I explained the plumbing situation in both bathrooms to Ryan, and he was at my door shortly afterwards!! He looked carefully at each one, gave his assessment and expalined thoroughly how he was going to proceed. First, Ryan unblocked the toilet in the master bathroom and made absolutely certain that it was positively cleared. Then he looked again at the slow-leaking toilet in the guest bathroom. (I knew that It would have to be replaced). My taste is rather expensive as I prefer the best quality, environmentally friendly materials, and I am willing to pay what this costs. Therefore I chose a model of the Toto brand toilet which is pricier than just a basic toilet. I made arrangements with Ryan for removal of the old and installation of the new. Then the next day something unforeseen happened with the toilet that had stopped leaking. I called Ryan, and he returned to my home very quickly. He capped the valve (or pipe, I have forgotten which) and everything remained perfectly dry till today, the day of the removal/installation. Ryan is so attentive and competent!! I cannot praise him highly enough: Ryan calls prior to his arrival; he is punctual, very knowledgeable in his field, and takes the time to explain everything very clearly. It was an A+++ experience dealing with Ryan Plumbing. I must also mention how extremely wonderful Jack is. He is the one who came and did the removal/installation. I was expecting at least a little mess somewhere, but Jack's work is impeccable. The new toilet looks excellent, and Jack did a seamless installation!! There is no 24 hour wait to use it either. I am so amazed and happily surprised by the absolutely thorough, professional, competent job which Jack has done. Kudos and orchids to Ryan and Jack as well. I highly recommend Ryan Plumbing. With Ryan there is no "ring-around-the-rosey" nonsense or excuses. There is no mess left behind. Every aspect of the job from start to finish is A+ Number One. If a situation requires the skills of a plumber, Ryan Plumbing is The One. Please do not be dismayed by the cost of my particular job(s). I could have chosen a much less expensive replacement, but as I mentioned previously my taste is expensive.

Ryan was professional; looked at all of my problems before he told me how much it would cost; once I agreed with what he proposed, he did the work quickly, professionally and, more importantly, left everything clean and neat. I would not hesitate to use Ryan again and he is now in my list of contacts in case I have future plumbing issues.

We were very happy with them. We've used them twice in the last year. The first time we dealt with the owner and this time, it was one of his associates. Everything went well however we may still have that leak and we are evaluating that right now.

I asked Ryan to install a new kitchen sink which I had purchased from Home Depot. They pointed out the sink I bought, was bent and becaue of the new kitchen counter configuration clips to pull the sink into plum could not be applied. They recommened a better sink, which I bought , They custom adjusted the new sink to fit for only a small extra charge. They were very professional and cleaned up aferwards. I plan to use them again. My only complaint, They didnot tell me about the discount coupon they advertise. I could have saved $25

yan has excellent presence, is smart and passionate about what he does, is efficient with no B.S. You just know you can trust a guy like Ryan. Pleasure to work with and eventhough the probems I am dealing with are costly, they are independent of Ryan's excellent service and experience. This will be the only plumber I will use going forward because he is good and I trust him.

I was finally able to verify it online. He was very knowledgeable about his profession. He was better than average on cleanliness, he did work both outside and inside for us.

It went very well. Aso was given tips on how to maintain the heater to extend its life. I would use Ryan Plumbing again when replacement time comes.

It was pretty apparent that we had a leak. He picked up a backflow kit the next morning and came out to do his thing. He fixed everything; it went well.

We had the bathroom refinished and some new plumbing had to be done. They had to come back because they didn?t do it right the first time.

We saw 4 small water spots in the 2nd floor ceiling of our 3-story townhouse. They weren't there the day before for sure, so we called Ryan Plumbing based on the great reviews on Angie's List. Though the appointment was originally with Ryan, he ended up not being able to make it and George showed up instead. After looking around a bit and visually trying to figure out what could be the source of the water, it couldn't be easily determined because the step-in shower, whirlpool, and toilet likely all likely lead to the same pipe. George then recommended that a hole be cut in the ceiling so he could have a better look. Water stains were found inside but after testing all water sources he identified where the water may have been coming from, nothing was found. So he asked that we not close up the hole yet - keep an eye on the pipes (which we can see from the ground with a flashlight) and call them if we see anything. It's difficult to leave a good or bad recommendation because the source of the leak wasn't found, and therefore, the issue not resolved. ANd even though we did pay for him to come and an hour of service, we don't think the problem not being resolved wasn't his fault. I can say that George was professional and helpful as best he could be - I imagine the other alternative would be to tear our place apart and no one wanted that! " )

Perhaps the best plumbing experience I have ever had. Ryan was extrmely friendly, worked fast, was neat, and charged LESS than the stimate he gave me over the phone; when did you ever hear that before? When I mentioned I was having trouble with an Instant Hot Ryan looked at it, tried to repair it (it turned out to be a faulty part from Fraanke) he didn't even charge me for his extra time! If you need a plumber GO TO RYAN PLUMBING!!

Our house is 20 years old. We were able to reach him quickly over the phone. He gave us a quick estimate over the phone and arrived on time. He was very friendly and worked efficiently. Everything turned out fine. He was very reasonably priced too. We are very happy with Ryan Plumbing. It was a terrific experience. We are now thinking of having him replace our toilet.

Ryan and George were great. We had to stick to a very tight budget and they respected our budget and we worked on it together. The workmanship was great. I will definitely use Ryan plumbing in the future.

After talking with Ryan on the telephone and getting a quote, we set a day for the installation of a new water heater and pan. Ryan sent George to do the installation. George showed up on time, was cheerful and friendly. After taking a look at the pan, he said the one he brought was too big and he would go get the right size. He returned quickly and worked non stop until the work was completed. The area was cleaned up neatly and all debris removed along with the old water heater and pan. I called Ryan the next day as the temperature was extremely hot and I didn't know how to turn it down. Ryan came by and turned it down. He showed me how to regulate the temp in case I needed to adjust it again. I was very pleased with the quality of the work and will definitely call Ryan in the future for any plumbing issues I may have.

I spoke with Ryan yesterday. He told me that he would be coming out today to fix my toilet and look at my leaking bathtub. He was supposed to be here at 11AM; instead he called me up at 11:10AM to let me know he was running late. Thanks for letting me know after the fact. Then he said he would be here in twenty minutes. In fact, no one showed up until 12PM, a full hour after he was supposed to be here. To my surprise I received a call from a fellow named George at 12PM from my gate. When George arrived I said where is Ryan? He said Ryan was not coming. So not only were they a full hour late, Ryan did not bother to tell me he would not be at the job. He never mentioned he would be sending someone else to do the job he was supposed to be here for. Aside from the lateness and bait-and-switch on the actual repairman, the company is no bargain at $95/hr. One could find much better deals in the Yellow Pages from companies that are bonded, licensed and insured and have been around for years. This is a follow up to my original reply. We had a high water bill last month so we called another plumber to do a leak test. They found that the toilet that Ryan Plumbing was supposed to have fixed in February was leaking. Apparently they used the wrong flapper. Instead of using a Kohler flapper they used a knock-off replacement part. This resulted in the water leaking in the toilet and increasing our water bill. The licensed plumber we called to do the leak test put in the Kohler flapper and he redid the leak test. There were no more leaks. Long story short, unless you want to pay high prices and receive low quality service, I would call someone else!

Parents live in Florida and we live out West. Found Ryan Plumbing through Angie's List and called on Saturday and quickly received a return call from Ryan. They recommended a Toto Drake toilet with soft close lid which is the same as we have in our house which never clogs. Worked out to install and remove old toilet within the 3 days I needed. Price was competitive with other plumbers I contacted but cust service with Ryan Plumbing much better. George came exactly on time and installed new toilet as arranged. Parents very satisfied with service and professionalism of Ryan Plumbing. Would highly recommend Ryan Plumbing again.

Great experience - I phoned the company at around 7.30am & left a message. I had a call back from Ryan within the half hour - I detailed how this had been a repeat problem for us that another plumber had tried to fix. He scheduled an appointment for me that day & his technician George arrived on time and walked me through possible solutions. George was very tidy & used a drop sheet to protect the bathroom. Fortunately for us plan A (the cheapest scenario!) worked. We'll definitely use Ryan Plumbing again - though hopefully not in the near future :)

I called early in the morning and Ryan answered the phone and was able to fit us into his busy schedule the same day. Due to his getting tied up on a job, he sent George. George was professional, friendly and took care to protect the area around the job site with protective covering. Very impressive!

The experience was very good and I was highly satisfied.

He showed up when he was supposed to and did good work. I would recommend them and use them again.

I was not here, my girlfriend was but everything went pretty smooth. He had warned me on the phone that my garbage disposal is not going to last much longer. I think he was wanting to replace it but since I installed the last one myself I didn't have him do that. p.s. normally the cost would have been $230 but we had a $25 off coupon.

They respond quickly, usually within a day. They are prompt and show up when they say they would. They are very businesslike. They come and do the job quickly and are out of here. I have never had to call them back for the same problem as they have always done it right the first time. I feel they are kind of pricey, though. I think they have a $40 show-up fee and a minimum charge of $45 for any kind of work performed.
