Ryan replaced a kitchen faucet that I purchased. He was quick, professional, courteous and knows his stuff. He was done in record time and cleaned the area up. He also gave me some advice on a water filter that I had. I had him back in December to fix some faulty toilets. He ended up changing floats in both bathrooms. He left and I noticed that one of the toilets had a slow leak. I called him and he immediately came back and switched it out. The next day, it started to have another slow leak and he immediately came out again. Through absolutely no fault of his own, the nut was not seating correctly and he fixed it. Ryan is a stand up guy and I would recommend him to anyone that needs superior plumbing service.

We discovered a leak behind our washing machine and we found Ryan Plumbing on Angie's List. I called and scheduled an appointment a few days later. Not only did Ryan call me that morning to tell me he was on his way, but asked if he could bring me a cup of coffee! He arrived and assessed the situation immediately and explained how the previous plumber did not install the pipes correctly. He fixed the issue and was very pleasant to deal with. A few days later, the pipe began leaking again, but in a different place. I called him and he said he would come and fix it for free and if I wanted that new faucet we had discussed he would install that also for $150. He made some recommendations for brands and I bought a Delta and scheduled an appointment for the next week. At that visit, a plumber named Ted arrived on time and I was concerned that he wouldn't be as good as Ryan had been but he was fantastic! Very friendly and super meticulous and explained everything in detail. He did a great job and was fast and I felt confident that our plumbing issues were over. A few weeks later, our icemaker filter began leaking late on a Sunday night. The next morning, I called Ryan Plumbing and Ted came within the hour and re-installed the filter under the sink, instead of the back of the refrigerator, which is what Sears did when they installed the refrigerator. Again, Ted was professional and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them to anyone with plumbing issues and am relieved that we now have a plumber who we can rely on. Thanks, Ryan and Ted!

I had two toilets that were running slow and placed my call on Satuday to see if weekend service was available. I received a call back that same day to confirm whether it was an emergency and an offer to come out at an extra chage if it was. Since it was not, we spoke again on Monday morning and Ryan came out that same afternoon. He quickly diagnosed the problems and advised that new fill valves and flappers were needed for both toilets. He did not have one of the parts available, but stopped by the next morning with it and quickly finished the job. He pleasantly agreed to accept my $25 first time customer discount coupon from Angie's list and was professional and courteous throughout both service calls.

I called him on the 10th and he came over this morning the 11th at 9am. He was on time , nice clean cut young man, gave us an estimate and then did the work. In and out, did the work and cleaned up after himself, a perfect plumber to know! I will definitely use him again. Good work ethic and attitude!

My water heater was leaking water through the TPR (temperature pressure relief) valve, which should only happen when the water temperature or pressure become too high. I found Ryan here on Angie's List so I gave him a call. He was out of town, but we talked about the leak and he said he could come by the next day to take care of it. The leak had slowed and eventually stopped, so waiting until the the next day wasn't a problem. Ryan has access to e-mail from his phone, so we exchanged e-mail after the initial call to make arrangements. Based on the information I provided, Ryan felt the problem was mostly likely a bad thermostat, which had allowed the water to overheat. My wife and I noticed the shower was a little hotter than normal that morning, which supported Ryan's theory. Ryan came the next day, a little later than planned, but he called to tell me he was running late. When he arrived, he confirmed the thermostat was bad, and he recommended replacing both thermostats because they usually fail at around the same time. He said the TPR valve did not need replacement since the leak had stopped. Unfortunately, Ryan couldn't replace the thermostats at that time because the hurricane panels in the garage were partially blocking access to the water heater control panels. He told me I could either move the panels and he'd come back later, or he could come back later and move them but he'd have to charge me for his time. (He didn't have time to move them just then.) I told him I'd move the panels, and he came back later that afternoon and replaced the thermostats. I paid $145, after applying a $25 coupon I got from Ryan's web site (http://ryanplumbinginc.com) -- I didn't get other quotes so I can't say whether that was a good price. I found Ryan very knowledgeable and professional, and I recommend him and would use him again.

He came in and did his job. He also cleaned up after himself. He was excellent. The water heater is working well. My experience with Ryan Plumbing was fine.

Well considering all this was handled over the phone -- with me in Chicago and Ryan aqt my home in Delray, I couldn't be happier. Though I have yet to personally examine the work done, Ryan gave me confidence to trust him and the work. Considering the number of issues and phone we had to address several problem, from getting the city to shut the meter, to missing keys, Ryan persevered and addressed the issues, ultimately successfully! I am looking forward to my next water bill from Delray and crossing my fingers that we addressed the source of my outrageous bills! I had paid $200.00 out of the $600 bill he sent to me. At that point my tenant informed me that the leak had not been repaired. Ryan had been to my home, but he did not do the work that was necessary to solve the problem.

Yesterday my water heater was giving out scalding water even on low hot water mixtures. Today I had no hot water at all. Ryan diagnosed the problem correctly over the phone--thermostats were out--& was here within 2 hours of the phone call, right on his forecast time. In less than an hour he was done, at the price he quoted, and an hour later I had hot--not scalding--water.

Ryan plumbing replaced my leaking old hot water heater. My father had extensive work done by them and recommended them. They did a great job for me and had to do a lot of extra work because the old water heater was connected into my AC unit and that was no longer the correct solution (because I got a new AC system). But they still charged a sort of basic water heater install that they quoted over the phone. The unit itself was about the same price as one from Home Depot. It's a family sort of business and although calling the plumber usually isn't a happy experience, Ryan and everyone else are very nice and really seem concerned about the work and customer. I've recommended them to two other people and they were very happy with the work also.

Our hot water heater was on the way out, bottom was all rusted so it was only a matter of time before it turned into a leaky mess. So I called Ryan's plumbing that I found here on angies list.Service went very smoothly, called to get a estimate and got serviced the next day right on time. Overall I was very satisfied with the job, no hidden costs, the estimate I got over the phone was the exact price when job was completed. Worker was very nice and very professional, I couldn't be more pleased. If I need future services, I will not hesitate to call.

The gentlemen that came to my home were very professional. They were respectful of me and of my home. They were very thorough in locating one of the problems that only my husband had encountered. They completed the job quickly and with expertise. I highly recommend Ryan Plumbing. You will not be disappointed with their professionalism, expertise and price.

We paid $150 the first time we used them and the second time we paid about $400. In February they finished the job, but the guy left the house and he said he was going out to his car to get a couple of tools because he had to some in and see what he needed. He was gone for at least half an hour and then he came back with one little plastic bucket and 2 tools and all that amount of time, and I was charged for that. The second time the guy was here and fitted 2 sinks and the faucet and disposal. I wasn?t standing there and watching him the whole time and he was here for many hours and started to think if he knew what he was doing because it was taking so long. When I went into the kitchen I see that my brand new cupboard was broken next to where he put the dishwasher in. When I confronted him about it, he said immediately that he did not do that and I told him that there was nothing wrong with it before he got here. I told him that the dishwasher was never put in that place and has been sitting out and is the first time it has been placed under the counter. The wood was pulled away from the frame and there were screws hanging out and the wood in the corner was cracked and was at least a 6 inch area. I have had a terrible time trying to get Ryan that owns the company and I called him and told him that his worker broke my brand new cupboard, so he came out. The worker here did not secure the dishwasher in the spot and was telling me that I had to call the granite people back and they had to drill a hole in my granite countertop to secure the dishwasher. I showed him clearly in the manual that it says not to do that and says that it should be secured on the side into the wood frame. When Ryan came out to take a look at it and he ended up staying here for 2 more hours and secured the dishwasher to both sides. He said that his guy said that he did not do that and told him that they were brand new cupboards and it wasn?t cracked before he got here to put the dishwasher in. I told him that it was impossible that it was broken before that and I saw it after he installed it after he installed the dishwasher. The guy was just making excuses and was blaming everyone and not taking any responsibility, even though he says that he does not want to ruin his reputation. He said he would fix it and I asked him to put that in writing and he refused and when he did come to see the broken cupboard he came through the door shoving a paper in my face. He said that he needed me to sign it and when I read it, it was holding him harmless of anything and I told him that I am not signing that. He has not yet made this right or fixed it and was calling the installers and I just think it is all a stall. He is just lying for months now, so I still have my broken brand new cupboard that has never been fixed and he is not taking responsibility. I am angry and I was sick when I saw my brand new cupboard. I think he is another pricey and is another thing with him because he won?t write out anything on a written estimate. Every time you talk to him he would say things that he would do and also said that he was going to install the vanity in my master bath. When he came back to do it, he said he never said he would do that and would always bump up the price. I made many attempts to contact them about the problem and my son also called them and Ryan was angry and said that now I am involving my son. The last time we contacted them was 2 weeks ago and he asked for the name of the company that installed the cupboard.

The first time Ryan came by he was very punctual, but we were missing a part so he couldn't install the kitchen faucet at that time. He was more than happy to reschedule and he didn't show any annoyance at having stopped by for nothing. For the following appointment he was running a little late but he kept in constant communication with us so it wasn't a problem. As for the job itself: The piping below our sink is a real mess (Sears didn't do a good job with it when installing our dishwasher). Ryan had no problem with it. He gave us the (very reasonable) price up front, finished in the estimated amount of time, and was courteous and professional throughout the whole process. I would definitely recommend him.

Ryan answered my call immediately and was at my uncle's condo within a 1/2 hour; diagnosed the problem. He purchased and delivered and installed the new toilet early the following morning. Ryan had done work for me about 4 weeks earlier on my mom's condo and I did not hesitate calling him to assist with my uncle's problem and would not hesitate recommending him to anyone who needed plumbing work done.
