I called and spoke to Ryan and told him our issue. He quoted me a price over the pone for the work. There happened to be a plumber in my area finishing up a job and arrived within 15 minutes. Seth was able to fix our leak quickly and did a great job! We have been looking for a good plumber and are so pleased with Ryan Plumbing that we added them to our contact list and will be calling them for any future plumbing issues that arise. We also like the fact that you can contact them quickly via text.

Early in the day, a construction contractor had accidently put a hole through one of the water pipes leading to my bathroom. After that contractor spent 7+ hours unsuccessfully trying to remedy the situation, I asked him to stop and that I would call in a real plumber to do the task. After reading glowing reviews on Angie's List for Ryan Plumbing, I called him after hours. Ryan picked up the phone promptly and we agreed that he would show up first thing in the morning, as the water supply to my house was shut down for almost 24 hours by that time. His plumber Joe arrived early for the appointment, which was a plus, and he went right to work. I asked him to replace the defective shut off valve to my house in addition to repairing the broken water line. He promptly did both tasks in just a little over an hour and our water was back on by 9AM. Quality of his work was excellent and I appreciated his attention to detail during the repair to ensure it would be done right the first time. He took the time to answer my questions and to explain what he was doing -- I learned a few things in the process. I would hire Ryan Plumbing in the future for my plumbing needs and would highly recommend based on my experience.

The gasket was replaced and a second unit was checked. The invoice was presented with a $175.00 amount due. I was not expecting this large a bill, but Ryan has always been fair, prompt, and professional, so I paid it. Their integrity has never been in question. Before leaving we noticed that the toilet was now sporadically running. This was new and did not happen prior to the gasket replacement. Joe Salina, the Ryan employee, then proceeded to spend almost 2 hours diagnosing and repairing the problem. This had to have played havoc with the schedule and fee structure, but Ryan did not charge me extra and performed in a pleasant, professional manner. I recommend that anyone who needs fast. professional, and quality service contact them. I have used them in the past and willso in the future. Once again, Thank you RYAN Plumbing.

i live out of state and have a rental property in Florida. My tenant complained of a clogged drain, I found Ryan Plumbing on Angie's List and chose them because of their high ratings and location. They were out at the unit within a few hours of me contacting them and fixed the problem. It was extremely easy and convenient and I will definitely use them again.

Response was excellent. Communication was excellent. Work was done in a timely manor, exactly as promised. Service technician was knowledgeable, courteous, clean. *PROBLEM 1. The old copper tubing that was used for the old heater was removed and two (2) stainless steel hoses were connected in their place. Copper tubing should have been used and if not I should have been told up front that the price included stainless steel hoses and not a copper tube installation. I now have four connections to worry about instead of none. 2. I was charged $75 for the installation of a ball valve, a little pricey considering it took the plumber five minutes to install it.

I'm sorry you were dissatisfied with the products that we used. I personally think that they're great and we use them all the time. I've never had anyone complain. If I thought there was an issue I would've let you know that we were going to use them. As for the price of the ball valve, The price should've been discussed before was done and I believe it is a very competitive price.

I looked up your invoice and found that we charge $140 not $200 as listed. Secondly I see that you said no to hiring us again. I would like to know what went wrong that you feel this way. There was a leak coming through the ceiling, we went to diagnose and did not find it to be a plumbing issue.

Ryan at Ryan's Plumbing is honest and extremely helpful. He helped me trouble shoot my issue over the phone and find the problem without ever coming out to my house and without charging me a penny. He could have easily scheduled a visit and charged me for a service call but he went above and beyond and helped me out. When I need plumbing services in the future Ryan's will be the first one I call and the first one I will recommend to a friend. Thanks again!

Service was very good. I called first thing at 8am and they had someone out to my house by 10:45am. Seth took care of the problem. Very efficent and knowlegable. He explained the issue and got right to work repairing the broken pipe which had leaked into my kitchen and behind my cabinet walls. I always check Angies list before hiring anyone and Ryan Plumbing had some great reviews which is why we chose them. I have to agree! I would absouletly hire them again without hesitation! I even had some questions and Ryan was quick to call me and talk to me personally. Talk about service and caring about the customer!

First, Ryan called me right back to schedule the appointment. I received an appointment for the next day that was convenient to my schedule, given the fact that I was trying to conduct conference calls from home. Seth called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way--this allowed me to run out and grab some lunch before his arrival. He showed up as promised and listened to me describe the issues --including the leak under the kitchen sink, which was a new problem. He knew immediately what the problems were on the kitchen sink leak, as well as the noisy/running toilets and proceeded to fix them. I had a replacement fill valve I'd bought at Walmart, so Seth used that for the master bath toilet. He had another one on his truck, which he used for the guest bath toilet (which unbeknownst to me, also needed replacing). He also put in a new water supply line on the powder room toilet (the one that had a leaking shutoff valve. The guest bath toilet (the one that was leaking onto the first floor ceiling) was a bit more involved. I wasn't sure if the leak was coming from the toilet or the tub. Seth ran some water in the tub and sink and quickly ruled out those at sources of the leak. I also thought it might be the wax ring on the toilet had failed, but when Seth pulled off the toliet, he showed me how the flange (the part that fastens the toilet to the floor) was cracked in several places. Apparently, a previous workman had noticed the cracked flange and had bandaided it with plumber's putty. (I remembered who that person was--a distant relative--which is a reason I will now only use professionals!) Seth easily replaced the flange, put in a new wax ring, also replaced the fill-tank valve (as mentioned earlier), and got everything put back together. He finished by cleaning up all debris and even taking the trash bag with him when he left. The amount on the bill was very reasonable based on the time, materials and work involved. They even took credit cards for payment, which was a nice convenience. I have a few rental properties in the area; I'll definitely be calling Ryan Plumbing again to handle all of my plumbing needs!
Description of Work: I have 3 toilets in my house and all three of them had problems. The one in the guest bath upstairs was leaking into the first floor ceiling. The other two were noisy and running water, as well as the shutoff valve on one was dripping. In addition, a refrigerator repairman that I had out earlier that day (Mike from R&B Appliance Service in West Palm Beach --also from Angie's List) had spotted a leak in the shutoff valve under the sink. Seth from Ryan Plumbing expertly handled all of these problems in just under two hours.

I was seeing water damage on the walls of two bathrooms that shared a common space in between them. I called Ryan Plumbing and received great customer service / responsiveness from the first call. They came out next day at the scheduled time, on time! Joe was very professional. He made the determination as to where to cut open the wall to gain access to the leak and he got it right the first time. A pipe coming out of the foundation was spraying water from a crack only slightly above the concrete. Joe was able to chip away at the foundation to be able to put a new section of pipe on, thus eliminating the leak. The way the pipe was originally installed was awkward so he needed to use some creativity to make the repair. He worked quickly and neatly. Ryan Plumbing also recommended the public adjuster I called out to review the damage. I was equally satisfied with them! I

I could hear water running through the pipes in my house when all of the water was not running. I called another company to come address the problem, and they told me that I had a major slab leak and would need my entire house to be re-piped. I called Ryan for a second opinion the next day. He responded promptly to my call and arrived early the next morning. It took him less than 10 minutes to locate the problem and fix it! No destruction or repiping necessary. It is very reassuring to know that there are honest and professional people out there! I would recommend Ryan Plumbing to anyone who needs a reliable, and honest plumber!

Horrible, costly experience. We chose Ryan's plumbing because they stated on AngiesList and on their web site that they did leak detection. We had a leak on the outside wall of our kitchen that was shared with our patio. The employee that was sent over, whom my wife feels was not a licensed plumber, chipped away at the exterior wall for over 3 hours and told us there was no leak to be found. He indicated that it may be roof leak, which I felt was not probable since the roof was less than a year old. They charged us 394.00 to make a hole in our wall and provide no actual plumbing services. On the phone, he indicated that he was going to waive the $30.00 chipping fee, but still charged us $10 for "Chipping hammer use". Since our roof was under warranty, we had the roofer come out to double check. I admit, I am not a tradesman, so we wanted to be sure. The roofer laughed at the fact that it would be a roof leak, but did check anyway. No roof leak. We contacted another plumber to come out and see if they could determine the problem. In 15 minutes they located the problem as a leaky valve on the dishwasher on the opposite side of the exterior wall. I did remove the toe-kick, and look under the kitchen cabinets when we first saw the leak, and did not see water, but apparently there was water, rolling backwards underneath the dishwasher which was seen when the real plumber pulled it out to check. He explained that water takes the least path of resistance and apparently for this instance it was backwards toward the wall. I contacted Ryan via email and told him what happened and I offered him the opportunity to make it right. He told me that since I removed the toe-kick and looked underneath, not finding any leak, the logical thing to do would be to open up the wall to find the leak. He told me that after it rained, I should have called him and he would have come out and seen it was the dishwasher. Regardless of that unlikely scenario, I would have still had a huge $394.00 hole in my wall. It's not like he would have seen the dishwasher leak and just magically fix the wall. The plumbing on the opposite side of the wall should have been inspected first. His email also indicated that my wife refused to let his employee use our bathroom. His employee was covered in concrete dust and pieces. My wife opted not to allow him to track it all through our home. She informed him that there is a park, directly across the street with a bathroom pavilion where he could get cleaned up. Ryan's response was clearly an attempt to make me feel like I was in the wrong because I looked behind the kitchen cabinet toe-kick and saw nothing. A novice psychological move used to belittle the client. Again, I am not a plumber, and I never claimed to be. But I'd hope that a professional would take the time to verify the claim and possibly check things the homeowner would not think of. Like I said, another plumber from Steve's Plumbing and Home Improvement, found the leak in 15 minutes. I wasn't expecting a full refund, but I was expecting something in return for a completely botched job. I'm now out 394.00 and have to pay to have a hole in my wall fixed. Not only was the job handled unprofessionally, the complaint was as well.

Response from Ryan Plumbing
The customer called me told me he has a leak outside of his house coming through the block wall. He told me he already took off the toe kicks of the cabinet and looked underneath the kitchen and there is no water. I explained to him over the phone that we will have to open up the exterior wall to find the problem it’s very typical for there to be a problem in the wall that leaks out. After we checked and didn’t see a leak, told him wait for a good rain to make sure its not a roof leak and if its not call us and we’ll come back. He then hired another plumber and then sent this report. When I found out that he wouldn’t let my guy use the bathroom it upset me and I told them I would not like to deal with people like this. My guy was not covered in concrete he made a small hole sitting on a bucket. If they would have called me back after the rain like I suggested I would have found the leak. I explained to them that it was the logical thing to do making a hole. I’ve never seen a dishwasher leak through the inside of the house through the outside of the house through a block wall Without showing up damage inside the house. If I would have got to their house and started taking apart a toe kick and looking underneath the dishwasher they would have wrote a bad review saying that I already told them that I did. When doing the leak detection unfortunately it’s not a perfect science a lot of times there’s holes made unnecessarily.
