Went to pull out an old toilet and sink to be replaced, water would not shut off at any of the shut off valves. Called Mike the Plumber for a quick quote and John came out a few days later (based on our schedule). John replaced shutoff valve at toilet and capped water pipes under sink. While there I asked John to show me how much space is needed around the shower faucet, we are redoing the tile and only had the backer board up, I wanted to make sure I had left enough space for a faucet replacement. I really only wanted John to show me, and I was going to trace the area on the backer board with pencil and cut it out later, but he took it upon himself to just cut the hole to the size needed. It only took a few extra minutes but I really appreciated his extra effort in doing so. John was very polite and professional.

We contacted Mike the Plumber on Tuesday and they sent John to look at the problem. He would have come Wednesday, but we were away that day, so he came first thing Thursday morning. Great response time. John came prepared to snake the lines if necessary, but he quickly discovered that it was a relatively minor issue with the mechanism. He told us exactly what was wrong and how it could be fixed, and gave us the option of fixing it for us, or doing it ourselves. It was something that we can do ourselves, based on the information he provided. He was professional, courteous and very thorough. I would definitely recommend Mike the Plumber.

Mike came by, within in 10 minutes of our scheduled time, to take a look and give me an estimate. We agreed on a price, and scheduled the work for three days later. Arriving at the scheduled date and time they brought in the new fixtures. They opened the boxes to be sure it was what I had ordered, and the work commenced. Within 20 minutes, Mike told me that one of the shutoff valves was faulty and would need to be replaced. This was not part of the original estimate, but he agreed to do it at no additional charge. The work was completed in about two hours, and I do think the area was left cleaner than before they arrived. The grout around the toilet and sink matched perfectly.

Everybody at Mike the Plumbers is wonderful to work with. After explaining the issues we were having, John, Mike and Aaron all came out to see the issues and to fix the emergency ones right away. The price was great and seriously, you will never find a nicer company to work with. Nicole is AWESOME and makes scheduling a snap. I was dreading this work but now, after Mike, John and Aaron coming through the way they did, I know that we've found our plumber for life! Thanks again to everyone at Mike The Plumbers. Great job!

Remodeling a bathroom and called Mike for the new bath tub installation, a fiberglass skirted tub into an enclosure. I had removed the old tub and bought a replacement. Mike came out a few days later for the estimate (based on my own availability), and I scheduled the work a day or two later for the following week. Anthony came to do the actual work. Both Mike and Anthony were very polite and professional. The job was completed in a few hours and everything looked and worked fine. Doing the floor and wall tile myself, but will call Mike again to come back for the toilet and sinks/faucets once we are ready.

John came to fix two toliets. Replaced the parts in both, showed/explain to me what was going on with both, cleaned up and was finished in 30 minutes The charges were VERY reasonable! I would definitely recommend this company. Thanks John!

Called "Mike the Plumber" based on his logo and the great Angie's List reviews on a thurs afternoon. We do alot of traveling and we needed someone to come out and complete the work before 4:00p Friday -- We wanted a morning appointment to be sure the work would be done to accommodate our schedule. Nicole told me she could send someone out between 1-2pm on Friday -- The plumber arrived at 1:10p Friday -- (we live in a condo and they don't provide contractor parking". He changed out the garbage disposal in less than 10 minutes and conducted a "free plumbing inspection" -- He was awesome!! Extremely knowledgeable, tidy and professional. Nicole followed up yesterday with a phone call -- Now that's what I call CUSTOMER SERVICE.

We called Mike the Plumber and told him we had some small jobs that needed attending to. He gave us an estimate for each one individually. The plumber arrived at the appointed hour and checked out each of our concerns. He was honest and told us which ones to address and proceeded to fix them and charged only for the work done. He was very pleasant.

Excellent work done. One call with an immediate appointment resulted in a very professional plumbing repair experience. On time appointment with a neat, efficient job well done. I would highly recommend Mike the plumber.

The plumber showed up on time and prepared to do the job. From the moment I contacted their office, everyone was great. They told me the estimate, scheduled the appointment and was sure to tell me about the $10.00 Angie's List discount. I have other plumbing needs to take care of for some of our elderly relatives and will be sure to call Mike.

After reading the reviews, on 2/4/13, I decided to call this company for an estimate. I have had the bathroom remodeled and need to have the tub/shower fixtures installed, toilet installed and vanity fixtures. Indicated that I found them using Angie's List. Also asked them to check my water heater as I am not getting hot enough water throughout the house. The woman on the phone said she would have Mike himself come out to give me an estimate, as there were several things on the list. The appointment was set for 2/6/13 between 9and 10AM. The day prior, I received a call from Mike asking to move the appointment to 1-2PM that same day. I said that would be fine. He showed up promptly at 1PM and I showed him the bathroom and we discussed the hot water issue. At that point he said the hot water issue was due to the Delta fixtures that I am having installed and that the water heater was fine. He verbally listed several prices for the installation of the different fixtures, but I asked for a written estimate. I told him this renovation has been a long project and that I had recently been laid off and really need to soak in a hot bath. He went to his truck, but came back and said he didn't have the estimate paperwork, but would email me it this evening. Gave him my email address and said that would be okay. I didn't receive the email that evening but waited until 2/8/13 to call the company to check if it had been sent. The woman that answered said that he hadn't sent it as they have been busy, but would send it soon. I asked her if she needed to have my email address to make sure they had the correct address, but she said, "he has it". Today is 2/13/13 and I have not received the estimate via an email, phone call or letter. If the company is that busy, I am happy for them. However, it is very unprofessional not to tell potential new customers.

Mike is always on time and does exactly what he says he is going to do. He goes out of his way to accommodate his customer even when it's not really his area. For example: He brought several extra people to help remove the exterior wall panels of my roof top Jacuzzi so he could fix the leaking jet. Removing the panels is not his job but he carefully arranged to have it done. His work is excellent and he makes you feel like family. If he can't do something he will honestly tell you if the job is beyond his scope of work. He is a pleasure to work with and we absolutely love him. Highly recommended.

A plumber that we had worked with previously told us that the fixtures that we had purchased would not fit. We called Mike the plumber and his assistant, Nicole had us send a picture of the current fixture via text. Mike called back and explained that there was only one type of fixture that would fit without having to repair the wall. They gave me a quote for parts and labor and we scheduled the appointment for the new fixture to be installed 2 days later. The plumber showed up on time and was done within 1/2 an hour, and they charged exactly what they had quoted.

Overall, it went very smoothly and we were extremely pleased with his professionalism and workmanship. He was very prompt and the estimated charge was exactly what I paid after the service call. His office staff is cordial and courteous and was able to schedule the appointment within 2 days. I am very pleased to have a reliable plumber to call for future plumbing needs.

Excellent. I've performed this work myself on a third toilet elsewhere in the house and Mike did it faster with a better grade of FluidMaster kit than is available at Home Improvement stores. Mike offered to get this done on a Saturday! I do not take his kindness for granted. A lot of folks would tell you to take a number. Not Mike. I'm using Mike the Plumber from now on! Thanks Mike! I went to use my garbage disposal and it did not turn on. I looked beneath the sink and there was water leaking. Because I had used Mike The Plumber in the past, and because his service was great, I called him again. I explained the problem and he came over the same day to determine the cause of the problem. After troubleshooting it, he recommended replacing the garbage disposal. Once again, I received great and prompt service from Mike The Plumber. Their friendly and professional service makes for a wonderful experience and I will continue to recommend them to everyone I know.
