Description of Work: Installed new MOEN kitchen sink faucet. Faucet provided separately. Replaced 12 year old faucet that was falling apart.. Now works great. We have used Charlie Swain twice before. Always excellent and professional service. Previously replaced shower heads in three bathrooms. A pleasure to take showers now. I always call Charlie Swain for plumbing.

I called a few of the top rated Angies List plumbers and Charlie Swain was the one who could come out the earliest. Their price was not the cheapest but I needed to have the work done that morning. The plumber came out on time and completed the job. He was very professional and did a good job. I would hire them again.

+ -1 moreHe was delightful. He was professional, yet approachable. He clearly knew what he was doing. This was the most delightful experience I've had with a vendor in the state of Florida. He is an honest contractor. He could have tried to upsell me on my disposal because it is 17 years old, but he didn't. He did the work quickly, but made himself available for any questions I had. Charlie went out of his way to go to a different city for a part that may not have even existed. Had he not found the part, it could have potentially cost me over $1,000. Because he took the time to find that part, he saved me a lot of money. He called me within three hours to let me know he had found the part. I will absolutely use them again in the future for any plumbing issues.
Description of Work: I used the Angie's Concierge Service to assist me with my plumbing needs. They connected me with Charlie Swain Plumbing. Charlie Fields, the manager for Charlie Swain Plumbing, came personally to perform the service. I originally called them because I thought I had an issue with my garbage disposal and two additional leaks, one in a shower and another in a guest room sink. He immediately went to the garbage disposal and let me know all I needed to do was hit the reset button. He didn't try to sell me a new disposal, just fixed the issue quickly. He wasn't able to do everything on the 9th because he made it clear that he needed a part that may not exist. He did a search and was able to find the part. He then sent David, his top tech, out the next day to finish the work.

Description of Work: I've been having some major plumbing problems and the sink clogging up in one of my rental properties. Today they came out and went to the roof to snake out the main line. It didn't work and that the pipe was the thing that could be the problem. They will have to be coming out later to dig in order to do the repairs.

Description of Work: I called them initially come to check for leaks after I got a VERY high water bill. Between time we set appointment and when they came, I found the water company had miscalculated the bill; used my neighbor's reading on my bill. Had Swain's come anyway to fix a leaky faucet I had with tricky handles to remove. They came, verified the method I used to argue my point with the water company and fixed the faucet in a professional and timely manner.

Description of Work: We called because we thought we had a leak from the bathroom that was causing water to come into our bedroom. The repairman came and said everything in the bathroom was fine and that the water was coming in from the outside of the house. He advised us to do some work outside and we spent about $300 on that. The water started coming in the bedroom more and more and we had another plumber come. He found right away that the bath tub was leaking underneath. We spent over $900 repairing the water damage that was caused by not correcting the problem right away.
