Description of Work: Kincaid was the 3rd contractor we contacted about upgrading electrical panels in our garage and house. My husband and I are retired engineers who worked in construction and our standards are very high. From our first contact we were impressed with Chris Kincaid, both his knowledge and pleasant manner. He came to the house on time, really listened to what we wanted done and returned his estimate within 2 days. We felt Kincaid was by far the most professional and expected to use them as long as the price wasn't too much higher than the other bids. We were pleasantly surprised to find they were the low bid and immediately hired them. The electrician they sent was top notch. He was on time and the neatness and thoroughness showed real pride in his work. When he ran into some unforseen issues, he immediately contacted my husband, worked out which way to go and still finished the job within the original time frame. | |If you are unsure about dealing with contractors don't hesitate to call Kincaid. They are ethical, willing to take the time to listen and explain what should be done without high pressure sales tactics. |

Description of Work: Confirmed of power was on and if not what we needed to do to restore.

Description of Work: Install 2 outside plugs, change out 3 fixtures, installed a ceiling fan, got our jet tub pump up and running and fixed our alarm system. | |Unfortunately while installing the ceiling fan the electrician broke the top of one of 2 large matching apothecary jars. Not an heirloom loss and simply an accident which we will just move on an maybe someday find a new top in a thrift store. | |Overall they provided competent and efficient service and I would use them again.

Description of Work: We were installing a hot water tank and we kept popping the circuit breaker. We called Chris Kincaid and he was at the house that same day to look at the situation. Come to find out, we had a very old style electric panel and we needed a higher voltage breaker for the hot water tank. He said we were lucky that it didn't catch fire because we should have always had the higher voltage breaker. Whoever installed the panel orginally took a few shortcuts. He searched until he found parts to fit our panel and replaced only what was needed. He did not try to sell us an entire new electric panel. He went above and beyond the call and really helped us. We so appreciate working with people like Chris.
