The central air/heat unit stopped blowing cool air on Friday. We called CMI on a Saturday morning and the answering service took a message. Within 30 mins. CMI called us back and arranged to come out for a service call on Saturday. Rick arrived when he said he would. He began troubleshooting to diagnose the problem with the cooling unit. He accurately identified the problem and performed the required work to get the unit running.

CMI was very efficient and thorough in their process. Their technician Paul, was delight to work with, providing a very technical oversight in the replacement process, keeping us informed every step of the way. CMI worked with our warranty provider in conjunction with our budget in order to save us money which are undoubtedly grateful for. After executing their work with tact and professionalism, they returned a well welcomed relief to our family of having a working air conditioning unit again.

Showed up on time with two techs. Very professional. Completed the work including testing in just a few hours. Liked these folks and would certainly use them again.

As it happens, our a/c stopped working on a Saturday night. Around 8:45pm we began calling all the big name companies who advertise on TV about their great service an 24 hour emergency service. HA! CMI was the only company (out of about 8 or 9 calls) who actually called back that night (Aztil called back Sunday at 9am). The technician, Joe, was out within an hour, replace the failed part and had us up an running. This was truly 24/7 service and Joe was as nice as could be.

They were wonderful. Their field technicians are very honest and willing to work with you.

Tecnician arrived on time, went into the crawl space and saw the problem, hooked up a suction pump to the outside drain line which removed blockage insalled a longer leader to the drain line, checked the compressor and refridgerant.

It went well. One part was covered by warranty the other was not. The tech explained everything to my husband and took a great amount of time to help. It is very expensive to repair ac units but if the tech is honest and we felt he was, it should not need to be repaired again. The date is approximate.

I appreciate CMI's efficiency and professionalism and would/did recommend them to a friend. They offered me a maintenance agreement which I declined at this time.

I would not use this company again, too expensive for what they did and they finally did get the quality of the job right but it took them 3 visits.

CMI AC and Electrical was the 4th HVAC contractor we called to service our 3.5 year old Trane AC unit. They were also the only contractor that wasn't trying to create hysteria so we would purchase more services. We recently purchased this home and HVAC contractor 1 told us we needed to spend $4,000 to $5,000 for mold cleaning at the air-handler. Contractors 2 and 3 told us that we needed to have the air-handler removed and cleaned because the condition was "extremely" bad--but never got back to us with a price for the work (after 4 requests) Did that mean they were too busy, the work was too hard, or it really wasn't that bad? We were alarmed, confused and frustrated. CMI came out, looked at the air-handler, said the mold condition was typical and treatable, (there was no evidence of mold in the air supply ducts). The service technician cleaned the area and sprayed retardant. They will return in a couple of months to re-exam. No fuss or hysteria. No oversell, but a treat and evaluate approach that was much appreciated.

My husband's company initially recommended CMI, and after shopping with three other companies we made the final decision to install our A/C units with them. I have been burned by a couple other local Heating and A/C companies in the past, so working with CMI has been refreshing. They are professional, reliable, honest, punctual, and really take pride in their work. Our home has two separate A/C units, the first of which we installed with CMI approx 1 year ago. When our second A/C unit died there was no question in our minds who to go to: CMI. Once again, their prices were very competitive and we are extremely happy with the service. Highly recommended!

The price was far less than the competition (between $500-$1500 variance). In addition, we felt most comfortable with their warranty and service guarantee. CMI was honest, trustworthy, professional, punctual, and did a great job overall. When we replace our second A/C unit next year we will definitely go through CMI again.
