CMI sent Joshua, their technician, to repair my A/C. He was extremely courteous and professional. He was able to identify the problem quickly and was very thorough in making the necessary repair. This young man is a definite asset to CMI and I would recommend him to anyone that uses CMI for their A/C service.

Installing a whole-house air conditing is an expensive and big job that takes two installers a full day. Thanks to Sean Banks's supervision and prolonged personal examination of the works in the attic on a sweltering Florida afternoon, the actual installation went without a hitch by the two-man team. Sean was always instantly available by phone for any hitches, and for the few weeks from inspecting the premises to turning the new thermostat on, Sean explained everything immediately as the go-to man of CMI! Whatever they pay him, he's worth more for the way he reflects so positively on the image of CMI.

I am writing this to do anyone a favor that is searching for an AC Company in the area. DO NOT US CMI!! They are awful at every phase including customer service, knowledge of the technicians, and not standing behind the work they do. One of their techs left a flow-switch unplugged in the attic on my last service call and flooded my ceiling, They took no responsibility in trying to fix the issue, When called out to look at it, there tech tried to tell me that it was a dirty filter and tried to run out of my house with the old filter as evidence for something. He has no class whatsoever. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

After contacting CMI, a technician was dispatched the same day. His investigation identified that grass had grown up into the exterior drain. Additionally both safety floats had also failed. The technician took before and after pictures of how he had cleared the grass and showed my wife. I followed up with CMI the following day and requested they review the circumstances which lead to the damage in my home, specifically the pictures their technician took. On three occasions I spoke with three different people and heard varying excuses from; there has been a lot of humidity & rain, when the unit is vacuumed it can bring out other leaks, and finally that the technician that came out on September 18th was one of their best technician who would have absolutely vacuumed the exterior and checked the safety valves. CMI does not feel responsible for this damage. I strongly suspect the grass could not have grown up to block the drain, and backed water up to the 2nd floor, in 25 days. I have canceled my contract with CMI. They did agree to return my prepaid future service. I will handle the repair expense out of my own pocket, but would like to alert others that they might not be mitigating drain related issues with a contract with CMI.

The technician was nice and professional. He replaced the motor and 30 mins cold air through our house

I just moved to palm beach county and didn't know any AC people. With a recommendation and reading the reviews on Angie's list I picked CMI air. The AC repair technician was very nice and was able to fix my AC. Fair price and quick service. Very happy that I called CMI

It was wonderful. I called early in the morning. They were able to schedule an appointment for the afternoon. Jim showed up on time and was very fast in assessing and fixing the situation. I worried I would need a whole new unit because I know my A/C is old. However, Jim was able to see that it was just a blown capacitor. I'm so thankful for his professionalism and honesty. I will definitely call CMI again when my A/C finally kicks the bucket but as Jim said... today is not that day :)

The price was really high and I was not happy with the estimate. The service by the guy was done well, but the price for a new unit was very high. They told me the unit was not repairable and through my neighbor I was able to find someone and they fixed the unit. 8 months later it is still working ok.

They did a great job and were very professional. I would use them over and over again. Thanks CMI!

The installers arrived on time to the minute. They were very friendly and extremely helpful. They did their part of the installation. Had to wait for the electrician to show up. He did an excellent job once he came. Although I don't like waiting, he was worth the wait due to the high caliber of professionalism and his arriving late was through no fault of his own. Initially there was a problem with the sensor (with the proper placement). This resulted in the newly installed system not operating properly. I called the company, they sent out a technician after hours. He assured me it would be taken care of in the morning. Bob was sent out and took care of the problem. Sometimes, things happen. Usually, I would have been a wreck, but I sensed that this company stands by its work. Everyone I dealt with: from the office staff(Danielle), to the sales rep(Richy), to the installers, Floyd, the electrician, the technicians Paul and Bob handled themselves with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism and with regard to providing the best customer service. I know they are with me even after the product is installed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. This quality of customer service is rare today.

This is a professional outfit where the service technicians are trained and know what they are doing. They drive trucks which are fully equipped to handle the job. My technical was very polite and explained everything to me. I was very impressed with his knowledge. The office staff is also very friendly. They answered the phone at 4:59pm on a Friday! WOW! Thanks Ashley! True professionals. What else needs to be said?

There was a miss-communication about the service time I thought service would be between 9-11 and they thought they would arrive between 9-11. When I called at 9:30 to ask where they were the lady was rude and not helpful. Then I called back to cancel appointment but asked for Tammy, she was very helpful and tracked down the truck's GPS and told me he was just down the block and hang tight. The form I filled out and sent to them included the filter sizes of my units, but the technician never got that form and did not have a filter for one of my units. The actual service was great, I had many questions and he answered them all.

I think two guys came out to do the work and they were very prompt. They completed the work in a timely manner and left the work area better than it was when they finished working. It was very nice. They tried to really be fair and save me money, which they did. They had to go up a small stairway to the roof. Usually you have to pay for a hoist which is a couple of hundred dollars, but they figured out a way to get it down the stairway so I did not have to spend a couple of hundred dollars so that impressed me.

Jack (technician) showed up promptly as promised. Very personable and professional. After quick analysis of the issues, he had the unit up and running properly. Answered all questions with detailed information and offered potential improvements that could eliminate issues in the future. We had a Hard start kit ( extra capacitor) installed to eliminate the false starts we get with our unit and we also signed on for an annual maintenance agreement because of Jack's professionalism. They were punctual and did quality work.

CMI is always very responsive and punctual. All their service technicians and sales people have always been polite and professional. I tend to ask a lot of questions and they happily answer until I have a complete understanding of what is going on. In fact, it seems they enjoy it when I ask questions; gives them the chance to educate and inform.

After having several people from Aand H for six months, CMI walked in, identified the problem. Fixed it. Professional. Awesome. They will get the call everytime from me. I am actually going on Angies to complain about the, but the CMI team was great.

I actually had put off making a call to an a/c repair company because I thought it would be a hassle to deal with. When I finally decided I was too uncomfortable, I joined Angie's list and read the reviews about CMI. When I called I was told upfront about their $79 visit fee but they could come out between 1:00 and 4:00 that day and they would call ahead of time. They did just that and was happy it was closer to 1:00 than 4. All in all it took about 1 1/4 hrs. to fix my a/c problem. Technician, Jeff, was very friendly and answered my questions. I would highly recommend CMI.

The work was done over two visits and overall I'm very pleased with the service. For the tune up, the technician showed up 10 minutes early and spent an hour inspecting and cleaning the system. He noted that the ultraviolet light was no longer working and that he needed to add coolant. He went over everything he had done with me and answered all of my questions. He left the area around the closet in good condition and was friendly. I called the main office to discuss replacing the ultraviolet light. I was given a website for the light that they install and a price for replacement and encouraged to review the website and then let them know if I wanted to proceed (I love not getting pushed into something). The same technician showed up to replace the light and delivered the same level of service. The only minor complaint that I have is that the technician showed up 30 minutes after the appointment window on the second visit and I wasn't given a heads up. I don't consider lateness a problem (some jobs take longer than others) but it would have been nice to get a heads up. Everyone I spoke with on the phone was very professional and courteous.

The house had previously been owned by my elderly mother who had apparently been scammed by at least one other company. Even in Florida the units should last past warranty. Looking through her records she paid more than we did for a recommended brand so it must have been the other companies. It's a shame there are companies out there that take advantage of senior citizens. Our tenant took Care of the process. As a young lawyer he was duly impressed. They did require a power of attorney which we were able to FAX since he is not the owner. We will definitely use them next time we need service.
