Frank The Painter

I think Frank the Painter may be the best service provider I have ever worked with. He treated my home as if it were his own. His attention to detail is meticulous. He noticed that the wood trim on my house and front porch was rotting, disguised by the paint covering it. He went out and purchased the lumber to make the substantial repairs. He also recommended painting the front and back porch floors which turned out great. He made necessary repairs to the stucco and house before painting and had the skill set to do it. Frank had his partner Ed helping him and Ed not only painted, he also installed new outdoor lights I had purchased. I was so pleased with the outcome - my house not only looked newly painted, it looked like a new house. They even pressure-washed my driveway and walkways. I had some trepidation initially about the cost of the paint they were using (Sherwin Williams Super Paint), but after seeing the results it was well worth it. And knowing it won't need to be painted again for a long time and that my house is well-protected against the elements gives me great peace of mind. The delay in reporting this experience was due to the fact that my old garage door needed to be replaced and Frank suggested I get that done before painting it so I wouldn't have to spend the money twice. He treated my budget as if it were his own. I had a new door installed a couple of weeks ago and called Frank to come back and finish it up. He came back immediately and did a great job. The house looks wonderful. He even repaired a small hole made by a carpenter bee and painted over the trim again. I would strongly encourage anyone wanting to hire a professional painter to call Frank.

Frank did an awesome job, he went above and beyond! He's punctual, honest, and a great painter. I already have plans for the outside to change the color of my exterior house and I will defiantly call Frank for the job.

As usual, Frank showed up on time and ready to go to work. He moved from painting doors to working on ceilings and walls in the house to working on the dock in stages so that he wasn't sitting around. While paint or spackling was drying on one surface, he was moving on to other of my tasks instead of sitting around waiting for things to dry and wasting a lot of time. Frank usually uses Sherman Williams paint, but I like Benjamin Moore paint....so he made the trip to the Benjamin Moore store to get the paint that we needed as well. Maybe I have been subconsciously not writing a report on Frank for fear that he would get so booked up that I wouldn't be able to get him to work for me. I have lived in Orlando for the past 30 years; and he is, without a doubt, the best painter that I have ever come across. I would highly recommend him and his work to anyone.

Frank is an artisan. He retextured a wall that the previous owner had done poorly, and did an incredible job. Great attention to detail, and a great result.

Frank quoted the job when we had a partner; he was by himself when he came to paint our house after his vacation. This meant the job took twice as long to complete, but he had complete control over the quality. The work was very well done from top to bottom, most of it done with the temperature in the 90s. The stucco repair is excellent - completely undetectable. He uses quality paint, will describe any work to be done in detail, and only accepts payment when finished. I hired Frank because of the reviews here, and I was not dissappointed.

Frank and Ed first came and did a thorough estimate for painting the exterior of our stucco home. We accepted their bid, so they pressure washed the driveway and sidewalks while they were here that day. They came back and pressure washed the remainder of the house before commencing the paint job. They also moved the dirt away from the perimeter of the house so they could paint all the way down to the base. They began on a Thursday morning and completed the job by noon on Saturday. They were extremely professional in the delivery of their service, including being punctual and kept us informed regarding what work they would do when. They did all the painting, i.e., house, trim, garage door, and front door with painstaking attention to detail and accuracy. When they were finished painting, they returned the dirt and mulch around the house to its original condition. The house turned out beautifully. Both Frank and Ed were a joy to work with.

Frank the Painter just completed painting my living & dinning rooms and both ceilings. Frank and his associate Ed are terrific. They have painted for me in the past and their work continues to be excellent. Additionally, their cost is reasonable, even when they made several small repairs. I highly recommend Frank for all your painting needs!!

We booked it out in one weeks time and they were here promptly on the the following Thursday as promised. They spent two days on the project and did a great job. The roof and screen were overdue and their work was cut out for them. We have a tile roof and it's very steep. I told them if any tiles were broken to let us know and they told us of several problems they saw while on the roof and admitted to breaking one tile which they replaced. Great guys would use them again.

What can we say, the job was very well done and very professional. Frank and Ed are a couple of the best painters you can find out there. They are very detailed when it comes to their profession and do not rush their work at all. After they finished our house, we felt that we gained some trusted friends. They fit us in their busy schedule despite other bigger jobs that they already had lined up. Ed even came back a few times to patch up some of my handy work ; ) All in all, it was a great experience to have been able to hire Frank and Ed to paint our house. They are also a great resource for referrals of other contractors that you might need around your house.

Meticulous attention to detail and useful suggestions as to paint and color.

Frank and Ed did a superb job. Before they started the painting, they spent an entire day pressure washing the whole house, including roof. They were very meticulous with their preparations and fixed all the little flaws (rusty nails, rotten wood trim, cracks in stucco etc.) before they started painting. Frank used Loxon XP for all the stucco surfaces (waterproof coating) and SuperPaint for the siding, and applied 2 coats on everything. There wasn't a drop of paint spilled anywhere and they cleaned up everything on a daily basis. Since the weather caused them to stop early some days, they even worked through the weekend (they asked if that was o.k with us). On the last day, we decided that we didn't quite like the color we selected for our garage door and Frank helped us pick a lighter shade and then redid the garage door for us at no extra charge. Overall, Frank and Ed did a highly professional job and were very pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend them if you want the job done right.

I cannot say enough good things about Frank and Ed. Frank and Ed are exactly what I want in contractors. Both are very motivated to do the job the right way and would rather spend more time on something than cut corners. They are honest, professional and their attention to detail is outstanding. They use quality products and perform high quality work. When they found issues outside the scope of the original job (i.e. side door on garage) they discussed them with me, we decided on a course of action and they did the repairs the right way. They also made several repairs and did several things beyond the scope (painted the front porch as a surprise for me), free of charge. I honestly feel that they treated the job at my home in the exact same way they would when painting their own homes. They had a personal investment in the quality of the final result.

From the time we initially contacted Frank everything was done in a timely manner. Frank was professional during his initial visit, and submitted a competitive quote. Once the new stucco was ready to receive paint Frank and Ed arrived early every day and worked the entire day. Equipment was put away when they were finished for the day. The job was finished on time and of the highest quality.

Frank and Ed are the BEST! I have dealt with a lot of contractors, painters, and construction people in my job. I have never found anyone as honest and with such a pride in workmanship. We were experiencing daily rains when the job was supposed to start, but Frank and Ed showed up every day regardless. They refused to start painting until we had dry enough weather to insure a long-lasting job. That is the right way to do business! In the interim, they worked on patching the block, repairing wood and caulking. They also cleaned my driveway and walkway thoroughly. When we finally got a break in the weather they went directly to work and they were at it for long hours every day until completion. They let me change my mind about how I wanted the job done without any complaint as well. They never failed to clean up after themselves and were a pleasure to do business with. I will personally recommend this team for ANY exterior or interior painting, water damage repair, or block or woodwork. I would and will use them whenever I have more work to do on my house.

They were a pleasure to deal with. They showed up on time and everything went smoothly from the start of the job to the finish.

Went very well. Work was scheduled further out than either myself or the contractor wanted, but due to colder temperatures this winter, we had to wait until a warmer week. Frank and his partner Ed were very professional. They always arrived when they said they would and did exactly what they said they would. Work was finished within seven days of starting. We were very happy we choose this contractor as they did not take shortcuts. All stucco repairs were painted over with primer so the shiny lines of the patch would not show through and they don't. All stucco was painted. Frank cleared away soil at ground level at edge of house to make sure all stucco was painted. Then he put all the soil back when finished. No other estimate we received said they would do either item. I would definitely hire this contractor again for other painting needs I might have.

Frank wasn't the cheapest estimate, nor the more expensive. We went with Frank because he actually paints the house, instead of sending a crew or subcontractors. Frank and his partner, Ed, were at the house every day on time, and worked all day during the heat of September. We have a pond in the backyard, and they would fish during their breaks. They gave my son fishing tips and even gave him some lures - that made his day! I would definitely use Frank and Ed again.

Frank and his crew did a great job. Very neat. No paint on windows, etc. Frank used elastomer paint to seal cracks in stucco. An unexpected rain storm compromised the paint on the gutters. Frank came back and repainted...no questions asked.

Excellent, just as I had expected. Ed, who works with Frank, called me last Wednesday asking if they could start the following day. Based on what they had seen of the wall paper, they expected it would probably be a three day job. It turned out to be seven day job because of the amount of glue on the paper and the amount of time needed to strip it. Once done, the walls were all primed, then treated with drywall mud, sanded and painted with two coats of paint. The sanding created a mountain of dust but the day after the sanding another member of their crew came with a wet-vac and a mop and took great pains in cleaning up that mess as they did when they completed the job.

The project went very well and was professionally managed from color selection to handling any minor issues that would come up. We were always informed when weather or other circumstances would interfere with the planned agenda. They left us with some portions of each paint including the paint and color numbers in case of a need for future touch up or repair. They said that they would gladly come back and fix any deficiencies that we may find (we didn t find any a result of superior workmanship).

Frank and Ed and sometimes Tony were here at 8 a.m. to start the day for the time it took to do all this work. They were very meticulous in all they did, taking their time to do the very best job. They are very knowledgeable about the right kind of paint to use, etc. They want the best quality job for their customers. They found big problems with our roof and were delayed because of that, but they never complained or tried to charge extra. They were right back to it as soon as the roofer was done and they worked with him to be sure the wood he replaced was properly painted before being attached. They recommended the roofer and got on him when he didn't do a complete job. (But the roofer was really good in the end.) They kept all areas clean each day and they were very professional. Really great guys, Frank and Ed. Hard workers, great guys, fantastic job! Our home looks amazing! Like new! We will use them when we paint the inside of the house and recommend them 200%!!!

The company was professional and conscientious creating as little disruption for the homeowner as possible. They arrived promptly at the times specified (weather permitting) and cleaned up after themselves on a daily basis. They provided value added services such as pressure cleaning of patios/driveways. I'd have no hesitation using them again or recommending them to others. The high marks bestowed on "Frank the Painter" are well deserved.
