Great local business. Very responsive. Added 25% more paving to my request on-site, same day. Start with this company, youâ ll finish with them.

They did not get a permit, or check to see if a permit was necessary. Now i have to pay to have someone remove most of what they put down. Being a reputable company all of that should have been covered as with most other contractors.

Gave a couple different options for the repair of existing driveway. Very professional with fast turnaround and quality work. Completed repairs of 3000 foot driveway in a day.

My experience with this company was amazing. Im totally impressed. My driveway was in terrible condition. They got the job done in a great amount of time and didnt have to wait forever like i have in the past with other companies. The teamwork is great and they are all very nice individuals. What ive paid to get it done was reasonable as well. I have no complaints. The job was done efficiently for me

Not responsive to our calls about the bare spot in the work.

My experience with Washington Pavements started strong but ended terribly. They were quick to provide an estimate that included additional discounts, so they ended up being the cheapest quotes I got. I agreed to proceed with work, but getting a firm date scheduled in advance was a challenge. They called one day and asked if they could do the job the next day. Luckily I was available. Unfortunately, they damaged a flagstone walkway by breaking 2 stones. They tried to claim that they did not do it but eventually agreed to repair it. On their first attempt to repair, they bought the wrong color flagstones. I offered to buy the right stones to ensure a match to the existing sidewalk. They came back for the second attempt but installed stones one inch higher than others so it was a tripping hazard. On the third attempt, they got stones level but used wrong color mortar. At this point, I told them to go away and I would have someone else do the work. So they may have been the cheapest quote, but it cost me more money and time in the long run. I asked the owner multiple times to come to view the results himself, but he never showed even when he said he would come by. The asphalt job was fair, but this company is not a stonemason expert. If they did not have the expertise to repair, then they should have hired someone with that skill or reduce my cost.

Rapid and efficient

Five families participated in this driveway paving by Washington Pavements. While there were a few problems with the initial outcome, the company corrected to most people's satisfaction.

This paving company knows what their doing. They completely corrected 2 prior botched paving contractors. If you want your paving job done right the first time, call them. I believe their price was fair given the complete tear down and repave of my entire driveway. Finally, after 20 years, the job was done right.

Updating my review below 6 months later. Sure enough, as I suspected, already getting some of the asphalt coming up at the entry of the driveway. They said the depth would be 2 to 3 but I can tell now that there is a small hole that they skimped on the asphalt and it is barely an inch thick at the entryway. That area will likely need to be redone by the spring. ------------------ When Joe saw my review below, he said he would come by and make it right but he never did. ------------------ Good price, but you get what you pay for and follow-up customer service is poor. They paved a 5,000 sq ft drive for me. Not very good at ensuring the drive is level or sloped correctly. I have a couple of low spots that puddle after it rains. One was about 2 inches deep and 3 feet wide in front of the garage. The owner, Joe, came and looked at it afterward and said he would be able to add material to fix it. After months of waiting, I bumped into him doing a neighbors drive and reminded him. He admitted he forgot. However, instead of adding material, his guys dug a small channel in the drive (right in front of the garage) to divert the water down the drive. So now I not only have a smaller puddle but also a narrow ugly wedge in the drive that looks horrible. I called him and complained. He said that he would come and take a look but I do not ever expect him to return or remedy this. Also, keep an eye on his crew. I caught one of them trying to take gas from one of my gas cans in my garage to fill his equipment. Joe even witnessed it, and he just shrugged it off. I initially was hopeful and had high expectations given Joe's claim of a family business, but he is really no better than anyone else, and once he gets paid he really does not want to have anything to do with you. He said the drive will last 15 years, but I am willing to bet I will have to have it resurfaced in the next 5 years. If you use them, my advice is to spray down the drive with a hose before you pay him to make sure there are no puddles and the water drains off correctly. Also, keep an eye on his crew and your gas cans.

Do not use this company. Very poor quality work - just 3 months after they laid new asphalt, I have large cracks up to 6 ft long, as well as numerous deep wheel indentations. The latest is a 6 inch wide and 6-inch deep hole that has developed. I have called multiple times leaving messages and when I finally got in touch with someone, we scheduled an appointment but he never showed up or even called. Very unprofessional. They said their work has a 5-year warranty - which is only good if they return a phone call.
