Description of Work: I called Edwards air because I had dealt with him before & thought he was fair in his dealings.A repair man from his co. came by Monday morning ,I believe it was Feb.18,to fix my outside compressor which had shut down.I did not know what the problem was & had no idea what the price would be.I was told that it was a capacitor,I had no idea what it did or what it was worth.Replacing the capacitor took 15 minutes after which the A/C worked fine.So far,so good.He then wrote up the bill & charged me $245.00 for the part & $100.00 for the labor,which I paid him on the spot.This was a bit of an emergency & I was in no position to go shopping the job! After he left I checked prices for capacitors on the internet out of curiosity & what I found sent me Through the ROOF! The prices for capacitors ranged from $26.00 to $75.00,I had been Blued,Screwed, & Tatooed! Edwards had charged $345.00 for a job that was worth $175.00/$225.00.He was entitled to $100.00 for the service call & if he had doubled up the price of the part I wouldn't have minded,but to go 6 or 7 times the cost of material was petty larceny! When I spoke to the boss at Edwards he said that he would check the matter out & get back to me.He never got back! PS: It is my guess that the people who work for him are getting some sort of commission on any overcharges that they can get away with.Otherwise why would he have done a job on me? PSS anyone who knowingly deals with this company,after reading this review,is looking for trouble!

 + -1 moreI noticed a lot of dust coming out of my vents and had called them come take a look at my problem, once they got to my house I showed them what I was talking about I thought I might need my ducts cleaned , but turns out I just needed to do a routine maintenance and change my filter. I greatly appreciated the honesty because a true duct cleaning is a little costly for me, so telling me I didnt need to spend money when I dont really have it, was nice to hear. I would definitely recommend Edwards Air for that reason alone, however the over all experience with them was great! my AC works very well and I've rid the dust :)
