Description of Work: When we first contacted Diamond Landscaping, we were extremely impressed with his efficiency in responding to all our questions and that he suggested to meet with us on a Sunday! Our initial plan was to have our Sylvester Palm trimmed, pressure cleaned and lacquered (made shiny). We also hired him to do other landscaping such as mulching and planting. He was good at e-mailing and keeping us informed until closer to the proposed installation timeframe when he did not contact us as he promised with the actual installation date. Upon our follow-up e-mail to him, he was quite apologetic and he offered a discount for the inconvenience. However, upon completing the work, the most important thing we wanted was the Sylvester Palm to be "shiny"as he well knew and was on all the paperwork. He decided upon himself to apply a "paint" that is not at all shiny. He said after speaking the staff at Home Depot, they did not recommend whatever product is used for "shiny". It had been done in the past when the palm was initially installed by another provider. He said he did this work so why would he be asking Home Depot and worse, not checking with us first before applying the product to the tree that we are now stuck with! It is obvious that he had not applied anything to the trunk of a Sylvester Palm prior since he had no clue what to use and was asking Home Depot what to use. He obviously lied to us to get the job. We are disappointed.

Description of Work: We were very pleased with Chris and his landscaping ideas. It was a top notch experience from the get-go. He showed up when he said he'd be at our house every time and performed a professional job for us. When we wanted a couple of things changed, he promptly came back and took care of our wishes. I'd recommend him for any and all landscaping needs you may have.

+ 0 moreDIAMOND LANDSCAPING LLC HAD BEEN TAKING CARE OF MY YARD FOR ABOUT A YEAR WHEN I DECIDED IT WAS TIME TO LANDSCAPE MY YARD. I LOOKED AT SEVERAL OTHER LARGE LANDSCAPE COMPANY'S BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW THAT DIAMOND LANDSCAPING LLC HAD THE CAPABILITY. AFTER SPEAKING TO CHRIS, WHO INFORMED ME THAT HE WENT TO SCHOOL FOR LANDSCAPING DESIGN, I ASKED HIM TO GIVE ME A DESIGN PROPOSAL TO COMPLETE MY ENTIRE FRONT YARD (NEW SOD, SPRINKLER SYSTEM AND LANDSCAPE DESIGN AROUND MY HOME AND TWO LARGE OAK TREES THAT EXISTED. IN ABOUT A WEEK AS PROMISED, CHRIS CAME BACK AND NOT ONLY SHOWED ME HIS DESIGN THAT HE CREATED BUT HAD PICTURES OF ALL THE PLANTS HE WOULD INCORPORATE INTO THE DESIGN PER MY REQUEST (VERY LOW MAINTENANCE). CHRIS ALSO EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS ONCE AGAIN BY ALSO ADDING LARGE ROCKS AROUND THE OAK TREES THAT REALLY LOOKED LIKE THEY BELONGED BECAUSE OF THE LEDGEROCK ON MY HOUSE WALLS. I CAN TRUELY SAY THAT SINCE DIAMOND LANDSCAPING LLC COMPLETED MY FRONT YARD LANDSCAPE UPGRADE I HAD MANY NEIGHBORS EXPRESS WHAT A GREAT LANDSCAPE DESIGN WAS DONE ON MY YARD AND WANTED TO KNOW WHO COMPLETED IT. IT WAS EASY FOR ME TO SAY, DIAMOND LANDSCAPING LLC. I CAN TRUELY SAY THAT CHRIS IS ONE OF A KIND AND YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED, I'M NOT!

He was extremely friendly and helpful, answering all of my questions, as well as my wife's (and she asked a ton!). Chris provided detailed instructions on how to care for the grass/landscaping and my backyard looks fantastic. My experience with Chris was extremely positive and I look forward to having him work on my front yard soon. I've recommended him to several friends and can't say enough good things about the job he did.
Description of Work: I called Chris Diamond after buying my home to put in grass in my back yard and do some landscaping. Chris was very responsive, doing the job within a short period of time. The grass & landscaping look fantastic.

He asked all the right questions and as a result I was extremely pleased with the results. He has a very professional background and was able to consult on the best plants, shrubs, flowers and overall plan for my particular home and location. I have used Chris on multiple projects and each project has been delivered on time and on budget.

His pricing is very reasonable - good for large and small customers. He acts professionally, is punctual and meticulous with a nice disposition as he easily coordinates with other landscaping service providers to take care of your property. And he follows orders! We are very pleased with Diamond Landscaping and highly recommend Chris.
Description of Work: Chris Diamond keeps our large property and gardens looking magnificently manicured. We have different providers doing various lawn services, and Chris brings it all together, focusing on all the small and large details to create a refined and attractive presentation. Our neighbors and friends say the property has never looked better and they are right!!

+ 1 moreChris always made sure the job was done to complete satsifaction. The yard never looked so good! Most impressive was the depth of his knowledge: he kept me advised about when and with what to fertilize; if weeds were beginning to show themselves, he notified me and gave me a great contact for treating them promptly. In short, he did not just limit himself to mowing the grass weekly: he monitored its health and made sure it was properly and timely treated. Unfortunately, when he moved his business out of the north county area, he was no longer able to continue with our lawn.
