Overall, an excellent experience. Rick and Bill were prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable, and they even pointed out and fixed a small problem with an existing light fixture. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Bill Gilbert Electric has done substantial work for us over the past couple of years. We keep coming back to them because of their excellent quality and professionalism. Most recently, they upgraded the house's electrical panel, as the one we had did not meet code. Great work, done on time and at the agreed price. This is a trustworthy company and we would not hesitate to recommend them.

Called on the 12th. Frank of Bill Gilbert Electric came that same day and checked out problem, came up with solutions same day. Bill Gilbert came by, again on same day, discussed solutions and promised an estimate by early next morning. Estimate was available early next morning (13th) by e-mail. I phoned in an acceptance of estimate and Frank arrived before 9:30 a. m. and began work. He completed work before 2:30, with about an hour and a half's assistance by Stefano, who was so skinny he could fit into the attic crawl space! I could have shot this entire business transaction and completion on film, and showed it to trades instructors as an example of how to run a business, how to get a job done, how to please a customer. It was like the "good old days" I remember. Courtesy, professionalism, attention to detail, job well done!. Bill Gilbert's Electric not only responds promptly, and does the job, they also leave the premises as they found it - and put everything back in exactly the right place!

They were prompt, courteous and efficient. The job turned out great! We are very happy to find a provider who actually shows up and does what they say they will do for the agreed upon price.

Bill Gilbert gave me two options for this repair job. One option was a lot of hassle involving FPL and pulling permits and costing over $1000. His other option was a patch which cost $175. He told me the second option was probably a better choice. I liked him right away. His office staff is friendly and personable and I would recommend him to everyone and anyone.

Okay...price was competitive however left premise and I still had no A/C. Contractor I had come the next day not only provided a competitive price was upfront about smoke alarm code upgrades and swapped circuits to get my A/C back on until panel is replaced, guess who got the job! How do I know about the smoke alarm upgrades...I called the town of Jupiter Building Dept. to confirm. BTW contractor who got the job in not on Angie's List!

I called at 9AM . They arrived 2 hours later and completed the job by 1:30 PM. Superb service. Very professional and efficient. I previously called another company that I used and waited 2 weeks and 3 phone calls for them to respond. No thanks. A+ for Bill Gilbert electric. Very pleased.

He does very high quality work, and he is very prompt and professional. He is costly, but probably in line with other electricians.

We needed help installing new garage door lights after we painted our house, the new lights did not fit properly and we were afraid it would be another costly repair. We went on angies list and found Gilbert electric. they were able to come right out and installed new boxes and wired the lights and made everything fit just right. I was very impressed with the high level of professionalism and concern for customer service, especially for such a relatively small job. I would highly recommend them!

Bill was a nice guy and came out to give me a quote. He was on time and professional and through and understand his craft well. I would recommend him from a professional standpoint. The only thing was his pricing was higher than most other bids, but you can tell he runs a quality company.

Excellent service. Promptly returned my initial phone call and setup an appointment within 48 hours of my call. Two electricians arrived within the appointed two hour time window. Both electricians were very polite and professional. Did a thorough job checking out the problem, replacing the GFI outlet, and then cleaned up well after finishing the work. Offered to replace front doorbell when they noticed that it was damaged. Would definitely recommend them without hesitation.

It was a good, professional job. They showed up on time and worked hard...no slacking or breaks, except for lunch. They even recommended that we get the hardware from Home Depot to save a little money.

Rick and Matt arrived promptly, assessed the situation and after explaining alternatives completed the work. They were very courteous and knowledgeable. The work was performed without delay and the areas were cleaned before they left.

Came and checked all circuits in the house. Found the problem and made complete repairs. Also checked other GFI outlets to insure they were operating correctly. Did a fine job and the charges were reasonable.

I called out 3 Angie list companies. All came out and were kind. I felt Bill Gilbert understood my situation. I needed my kitchen fixture turned upside down- He was honest with me, referred out Asked about flood lighting- he was honest with his thoughts, which did not match my wishes. Most importantly, he gave me a quote and honored it. The job took an additional 3 hours, he did not charge me the extra hours.

Overall, I have good experiences with Bill Gilbert Electric and my mother also has had very positive results using their services.

The electrician who came to my home was on time, was patient and kind, did a fabulous job, and cleaned up all debris caused during the completion of the jobs.

It was a big job. I was very satisfied with his work. He did a good job - I was really pleased with his work. He had a wonderful young man that worked for him as well.

The office called the day of the appointment to assess the level of expertise needed for the job. They sent an electrician who arrived on time and accurately estimated the time required for the job. The two fans were installed and the electrician thoroughly cleaned up after the job. The Nutone doorbell require service by Nutone and the variable light switch had been inadvertently turned off and required no service. I appreciated the professional service and advice done within the capabilities of the electrician, e.g., instructed me on how the variable light switched worked and why it didn't need to be fixed, and directed us to contact Nutone for the needed chip to repair the intercom/doorbell. This company has my business for any electrical need.
