 + -1 moreHorrible. Impossible to get ahold of. Multiple times we paid them to come out and they never showed up. They were supposed to provide a report after every treatment, but many times it said nothing was wrong when i knew there were issues. Every time i called to ask about it, they told me that the technician would call me back, but they never did. I just cancelled the service because the lawn is no different after 6 months of treatment.
Description of Work: We hired them to provide lawn care. They promised they could help with weeds and dead spots.

 + -1 moreDuring their yearly inspection, they look for termites on the inside walls by tapping the baseboard of the entire house, inspect bathrooms for moisture, the garage interior, and the outside of the house to note problems and make improvement recommendations. They have suggested that we keep mulch 1 foot away from the structure, exterior windows and door re-caulked yearly and install gutters. However, the reason why I am writing this review is because 6 months ago they found termites in the front of one of the houses. The service provider immediately initiated the paperwork to have the inside wall opened to determine damage. We had termite damage behind the brick wall in the front of the house. The drywall was removed, the wooden wall studs/support were changed, and upon completion we had a new wall with no evidence of termite. The work was thorough and the paint color was matched to original color. We were extremely pleased with their professionalism, superior customer care, and knowledge. We highly recommend them for their integrity.
Description of Work: Turner Pest Control has been providing termite service for years. They been servicing our properties for more than 8 years. We pay for an in-depth subterranean termite treatment every 7 years (price depends on the granules or product used). Yearly, the house is re-treated and we pay a yearly coverage agreement for $250 which includes warranty protection.

Description of Work: I called this provider because they had an A rating and everyone said they were great and on time. I am under a time crunch because I am doing inspections to close on a house. They said no problem and scheduled me for 5:30 PM. Great. At 5:30 no show. I called the office and 5:45 and they were closed. I left a voice mail asking for a call back. It is two days later and no call. I did not call them back. I hired someone else to complete the job.

 + -1 moreThe sent out a kind of a blank system generated report so I was under the impression that I had no issues and in fact I did. They said that the system does all of it automatically which was not great as they should have told people about it before. In the end I think that they provided me good information. I had ten days to get all of the inspections and results done and in some cases it was a challenge to get that.
Description of Work: Turner Pest Control came out and did a WDO. They also do treatments.

 + -1 moreThey've done a nice job. I think they use quality materials because the lawn has looked the best its ever looked. They use granular instead of water treatment so you're getting a good product. The service tech is very nice and knowledgeable. It has been the service tech for the whole time we've had the product. We're very happy with them. I think they're comparable with everybody else in terms of price. Customer service was very helpful.
Description of Work: We use Turner Pest Control and Lawn service for lawn service. They put in fertilizer.

 + -1 moreI feel I pretty much explained in detail above about how all went. I have nothing to say negatively about Turner Pest Control.
Description of Work: Found rat droppings in my uncles house in Jacksonville, FL. Didn't know any exterminators there as I don't live in Jacksonville. Went to Angies List and found Turner Pest. Called them. Got the price. Sent the money. Since I am not in Jacksonville, except for a couple of days here and there, a neighbor friend was kind enough to make the first appointment. She said that the man was there before her! And, on each following appointment he was always there early. Baited traps were set out where droppings were seen. Each week an appointment was made and he would come out to check the traps. He even brought another younger worker with him a couple of times so the younger man could go up into the attic to check that area. Baited traps were set up in the attic as well. Each week at the checkings, no traps were bothered. On one of the next trips going up to Jacksonville, I took my vacumn cleaner to vacumn the droppings up so we could see if something was still around. Well, a rat or two was still around!! But, they stayed away from the baited traps. I again was up in Jacksonville on a day that was a scheduled visit. Nothing found! I was sitting in the kitchen eating some breakfast. I got up to get some papers from a drawer in the kitchen. As I rounded the counter there I saw some rat droppings that had not been there before!!! I immediately called the company. The technician called me back shortly and said he could be there about 2 PM. I went to do some errands and got to my uncles house just a bit after 2 PM. There was the technician, his boss, and another gentleman!!! They started looking all over the place. Put out more baited traps. Found a couple of more areas where the rats could be coming in (those then in a few days were sealed up). After several, several weeks with no other signs of any rats, the traps were removed from the house. Two traps were left outside and were checked on every couple of weeks. There were signs that something was nibbling on the traps outside. These were baited with something different than the ones in the house. After several more weeks the outside traps were taken away. No signs of rat/s now. I have only good things to say about this company. They reassured me that they would persist until they were certain nothing was around. And they did persist for about 3 months or so. I would recommend this pest company to any and all that may need their services. Linda

 + -1 moreOverall it went great especially for a Pest Control service. I have used a few others and Turner is by far the best. They always send me the same agent which is good because he now knows my house and my problem areas. He came in the morning and sprayed and inspected, and the whole process took about an hour. He showed up when he was suspose to so I wasnt waiting all day.
Description of Work: My Turner Pest control agent showed up again for my quarterly service. He came and sprayed and inspected. He was very courteous and polite and is always a pleasure to work with. I would definetly recommend them to friends. While inspecting for termites he actually found a leak in my foundation and I was able to prevent a huge problem. I like the fact that they send the same person every time and after my service they send me a personalized email to make sure that I was satisfied.

 + -1 moreAfter purchasing a new house and having the roof replaced we were seeing a couple cockroaches every day. I called Mac Burke at Turned Pest Control to come out and provide a free inspection and estimate. I quickly and happily signed up for the general pest plan and he scheduled a time for Miss Amy to come out and perform the initial treatment. Along with an initial indoor treatment and quarterly outdoor treatments they also perform follow-up indoor treatments whenever you find more insects. For the first month, Amy was out every week for a new treatment. The next two months were only about every-other week. She's been so patient and knowledgeable every time. The insects are mostly gone now, but she does have to come out on occasion, still.
Description of Work: Turner provides quarterly and as-needed general pest control. The service does not include termites.

 + -1 moreThey did a great job. I had a problem not so long ago, and they came right up and took care of it. They were really responsible. What stands out about them is just their punctuality. They were regular and they keep mainly effectiveness, that's what I want. I don't want bugs in the house because it bugs me.
Description of Work: I've used Turner Pest Control. They come every six weeks. They do a regular treatment and I don't even have to be here. I had ants coming through the window. That was the last problem I had.

 + -1 moreThey hold our termite bond, that is why we stayed with the company because we do have termites here in Florida. Any time we call when we have pest concerns, they come right out. Their technicians are really dressed up nice and they are very professional.
Description of Work: We have used Turner Pest Control. Quarterly, they come up and check all the termite monitoring stations and sweep down all the spider webs and they treat the outside with a granular insecticide all the way around the foundation and they spot spray areas that they think where there could be possibly any infestation.

 + 0 moreI like them. It is $65 a quarter for pest care, $50 every two months for lawn care and $200 a year for the termite bond. I spend a pretty good chunk of change with them. They have never done anything that really made me question their service.
Description of Work: I use Turner Pest control for pest and lawn treatment. They do 3 things for me: they provide regular quarterly preventative pest treatment, they have my termite bond and they also do the weed care for my lawn; they put the chemicals on. They were last here for the lawn care.
