High quality, professional job. Sales process was professional and focused on the issues rather than high pressure. Good response to special requests like special protection for trucks on the large paver driveway. Did exactly what they said they would do, on dates the said it would be done, at agreed price with no surprises. Extensive plant landscaping was fully protected. Multiple neighbors commented on conscientiousness and professionalism of workers, especially compared to other roofing companies doing work in the area.

They were very clean cut and punctual. I got a good vibe from them from their Angie's List reviews. Everything turned out very well with their service.

They call this a business?? I called Townsend Roofing in early December to have them come give me an estimate for a roof replacement and explained to them what my situation was and also what I had been told my other roofing companies who were not able to do the construction aspect required for my house. I was told that they would call me back to schedule an appointment. Several days later, I had still not received a call from anyone at their company so I called them again and spoke to a woman who said she would pass the message along again to the person they had assigned to my request. A week later still no call.. so i called yet a 3rd time and got the same response even after explaining my frustration and dissatisfaction thus far. Well I never got a call back and we were going into the holidays so I decided to put it on the back burner as I assumed that everyone would be either busy or taking vacation time. After the New Year, I decided to give them one last chance and called the office requesting the appointment for a quote I had been waiting on now for about a month. Within a day or two, their representative contacted me and set up a time (or rather a 2 hour window) that he would be coming by to see my house. I met with him briefly and was shocked at how seemingly disinterested he seemed in what I, the customer, had to say about what I wanted them to do. This was a stark contrast to the experience I had earlier that same week with another contractor from a competing roofing company who asked me what kind of roofing I wanted, did i want shingles, what kind of shingles, what the job would entail, and hypothetical scenarios we may encounter given the age of my house. Not Townsend Roofing! The guy basically told me he was going to measure my roof and leave and would get me a quote in the next week or so (based on what I don't know since he didn't ask me anything) A couple days later, I get an email from Townsend Roofing saying that based on the notes of their representative who came to my house that they would not be willing to take on the job as it would entail too much carpentry. Well, excuse me but the name of this business is Townsend Roofing AND CONSTRUCTION. The email cited that they have too much work already and didn't want to take on my house as a project. They had to have known this from the beginning and could have simply said so instead of stringing me along and wasting my time.

On Monday December 5th the crew showed up on time and Chris Townsend, who did the estimate, introduced me to Martin, the on site supervisor for our job. A dumpster was placed in the driveway and the removal began. During the whole process, anytime there was a question or concern, Martin was right there to explain everything that was going on and the reason why something was being done. He really made me very confortable with the work that was being done. Every night when it was quitting time, the crew went around the house with huge magnets to pick up any nails or metal that fell from the roof. Also any paper or other roofing material was cleaned up before they went home for the night. After 3 days the job was done and we have gotten numerous compliments on how nice our new roof looks and as a matter of fact another house in the neighborhood has since used Townsend for their new roof. The whole process went very smoothly, thanks mostly to Chris, Martin, and their crew's overall professionalism. I would recommend them to anyone and just the other day I saw something that concerned me, I called Chris and the next day both Martin and Chris showed up to address the problem, which only needed an explanation to put me completely at ease.

Townsend Roofing and Construction did an excellent job. They went well out of there way to perform a professional task and complete it on time. My roof looks excellent, and I'm very pleased.
