They showed up on time with the materials, explained to me what they were going to do. Took caution with my furniture and walls to minimize damage. Thie estimate of time was spot on. Really appreciated the work, the attention to detail, and the timeliness. Would use again.

I took longer than expected, about 3 hours. Extra $40.00 charged for high ceilings 12 and 17 feet.

I called for service at about 1:00 PM today. I was scheduled for service tomorrow morning. The representative of Thompson Electric said if they had something open up this afternoon they would call me. Jerry from Thompson Electric called me to say he was in the area and could come by about 2:40. He arrived minutes later, diagnosed our problem, replaced 2 old GFI's and had us up and running within the hour. Jerry was excellent, personable and professional.

Called in morning, phone answered by a person immediately and I explained situation. They confirmed that they would have someone out to my home before 5pm. Electrician called before he came, confirmed he was on the way and arrived exactly when he said he would be here. We explained situation and showed him the area and Jerry went right to work. He tested the old outlet discovered that our dryer 240 outlet had indeed gone bad and replaced it, He also installed a new dryer cord and tested the outlet and dryer to make sure everything was working well. He reinstalled the dryer and everything is working perfectly. Overall a very very positive experience and would definitely call them again. Jerry was very professional and explained what had happened and what he had to do. Thompson electric gave me an estimate over the phone and it was exactly that amount. A very fair price given the work that had to be done.

They completed the work quickly. Didn't try to sell me anything else an left. I was very happy with the work an would use them again.

They did a great job. I called for an explanation of the estimate and was treated very professionally. The person who took my call actually asked the technician for a full explanation and called me back to explain. This upgrade was very important and the team that came out did a professional job. We would call them again.

Jerry was professional, knew old houses, never got flustered or bothered about added on work requests (I mean seriously, how do you remember everything you need/want from an electrician until they're actually there?). He was kind to my dog and worked well with others. He explained everything I asked about to me in language I could understand. And the work has proved exemplary.

In their opinion, they felt like they needed to replace all of the wiring again. I had just done this 5 years ago, so I felt like if they would just replace the box where the deterioration took place, that this would be sufficient. They said they did not feel safe doing this. They also quoted me over $1000 to do the work and I felt like this much work was not needed. I decided not to use Thompson Electric Inc since they couldn't just replace the box.

Overall I'm happy with the work performed for the price. Other electrical contractors had quoted me much higher or never called back. The estimator was very prompt, professional, and helpful and quickly gave me back an estimate over email. I only ding them a little on quality (note that B means "good", which is still a "good" grade) as some of the components seemed like the cheapest option at the hardware store, and my yard was left very dug up from the underground wire. I also ding them a little on professionalism, as while the estimator was very professional, the actual technicians that did the work were not very professional, although they were very nice guys. Neither quality nor professionalism were a real problem, I am happy with the work performed and I look forward to using them again in the future.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went well. They were expensive but they did a nice job. I probably won't use them again because they were so expensive but it was really high-quality work. I paid about $1700 above the Big Deal price. They were very professional and they did a nice job. I could not complain whatsoever. I was just a little surprised at the price. They were very responsive and they were right on time. I've done a little more shopping and I know what the going rates are for these things now and I think they were out of line.

GFI and disposal were shorting out. I had rewired and replaced disposal and switch and still had short issue. Thompson rewired and had both issues working in under 1 hour. Polite, professional, called within time frame promise on day of appointment to confirm they were enroute. Angies List coupon used not issues.

He checked the wiring between the light and switch, but found no faults. He suggested the light fixture itself might be faulty. He was right, and the problem stopped after I replaced it. He gave some advice as well on my electrical panel and a whole-house surge protector. While he didn't actually work on any wiring, his advice saved me a lot of money.

The installer was pleasant and performed the work at the appointed time in about an hour and a half. He had to crawl in the hot attic to run the wire. The company called me before the work was completed to schedule the work and inquire about existing conditions (like the color of the switch/dimmer plate. They provided the proper color wall plate and dimmer at no extra cost. The installer cleaned up after himself. My wife and I were very happy with the price, quality and work performed.

It turned out just fine. They did a good job. They basically came in and completed everything that they said they would do within a reasonable amount of time. I think he was probably working for maybe two to two and a half hours. Everything worked well. It was probably about three or four days that they came out after I purchased the big deal. I think I purchased it on Thursday or Friday and they came early the following week. I just paid the price for the big deal. I actually asked for this unit to be added on the cart but it actually couldn't fit on the configuration of my living room. So, I just went with the standard four lights. I thought that they did an excellent job. I would recommend them and I would probably go back if I had any additional lighting or electrical needs.

They came for the appointment on a Saturday. They wanted to charge additional fees to come on a Saturday, but since he was going to be in the area, he came without any additional cost. He solved the problem and everything was fine.

Tim from Thompson electrical arrived on time for the estimate and impressed us with his punctuality and knowledge. We immediately scheduled the replacement of our main electrical panel and Tim arrived exactly as he promised, completed the work very expeditiously and we were impressed with the completed panel and wiring. He cleaned up and left the job site cleaner than when he arrived. We feel the cost and work performed was excellent and will use Thompson Electric in the future.

Someone came out and took a look at it. It turns out the junction box would need to be replaced for a great deal more money than the ad. The junction box was also located in a place where it could not be worked on. The guy who came out was very good.

it went great! I had some questions before purchasing; and Mike was very helpful. I purchased the coupon Wed. and the lights were installed Friday. The installer was professional and advised me how to get the most lighting in the areas where I worked the most. He finished the job in quick order. And it looks terrific. I have some areas where I never really had enough light. This adds so much more to the kitchen; and the recessed lights themselves are so much more attractive.
