+ -1 moreI use them yearly, but if I see any bugs in the meantime they'll come out again for no charge. I've been using them for 13 years and I've had no problems. I really like them. They are excellent. The price, quality, and professionalism are great. I will continue to use them in the future.

+ -1 moreI don't like the fact that they have become nationalized. We don't know when they are showing up as they do it on an immediate phone call. I don't like them but I don't have a choice. I would like to switch. I have to call their 877 number now. They got rid of their local office and that is why I am not happy. I would use somebody else if it was not for my owner's termite bond. I pay additional money on top of the termite bond. I was very happy before they got rid of the local office.
Description of Work: I used Terminix Pest Control for pest control and extermination services. I am under obligation to use them because my owner has a termite bond. I don't have a choice. I don't have to necessarily get them but being paralyzed we need to get pest control. I do get some regular spraying. I have problems with my garage doors which won't fix, so I get lot of bugs underneath my garage, so they have to use specific stuffs. My next door neighbor is rebuilding his house and fixing the roof because he is selling it, so they took out the bushes and everything, so we basically ended up spraying the whole property as I have palmetto bugs and others because the bushes were disturbed.

+ -1 moreThey are extremely expensive, however, they are extremely thorough and they will come out in between routine visits. They also prove to be very knowledgeable, however, I think they are giving you a product that does not last the full quarter (and they know that). Although I think they are too expensive and do not provide work that last the full quarter, they do their job any time they are asked to come out.
Description of Work: Less than a week ago they came out to exterminate indoor and outdoor bugs. They are scheduled to come out once a quarter, even though they often come in between those routine visits.

+ -1 moreThey treated my house several years ago when I took out the insurance, so I pay every year. The company I was using previously was taken over by Terminix. I have been happy with them. When they come out, if they find any termites it doesn’t cost me anything to treat that. They were excellent overall.

+ -1 moreIt is absolutely crazy. If we have termites then it is a separate category, and if we have pests that is another category, so we have to pay for that. We have two contracts with them, one is for pests and one is for termites. They do what they say, so that is good. They come out. I had some microscopic bugs in my house, and they didn’t look into that. The people are courteous, and I think they try to take care of us. I would use this company again in the future.

+ -1 moreI have an ongoing contract with them. The termite bond is $220 a year and I think the bug service is right around $300 a year. I’ve been using them since I bought the house and then I got a termite bond. So it’s right around 20 years. They come when I call them and the termite bond is a replacement bond. So I make sure that we keep that up. I would recommend them to the others who are looking for pest control service. I haven’t done any comparative shopping in a long time with regard to price. So I really can’t comment on the price. I just want to keep the termite bond intact but I haven’t been shopping around. The quality of work is pretty high. I don’t have any issues with bugs and when I do, they come and fix them. I will continue to use them in the future if I need to.

+ -1 moreThey do pretty good work for me. They make appointments, and they come when they say. So far, it is so good on the bug control. If something shows up after the treatments I just call them, and they will come right back and re treat. I didn’t have anybody before for pest control. They are pretty professional when they are out at my house. After they have serviced your house, they always send an email asking you to rate their service so they are constantly checking on their technicians. I would use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I have had a contract with Terminix Pest Control for years. I also have a termite bond with them for my home. I last used them in January of 2011.

+ -1 moreAfter they came out I still saw pests. I called them back and it was difficult to get them to come back out. They did come back and wanted to charge me. After I canceled they came back anyway and tried to charge me for that. I will not use this service again.

Description of Work: $450-Initial termite treatment, 1-year termite bond (approximate amount) Follow-on yearly termite bonds are about half this price. $270-Initial interior pest treatment plus three, 90-day follow-up visits. (exact amount). The initial treatment comprises drilling/injecting liquid in the soil around our home's concrete slab. This work was performed very professionally--quick, quiet with no mess left. We had our first follow-up this week. The technician swept outside spider webs & sprayed eaves, treated ant beds with topical spread in the front yard and applied liquid in ant beds in an infested area in the back yard. Again, very professional and no mess. The technicians are first-class in all respects. The services are a bit pricy but there are discount coupons/special offers floating around out there. I forgot that I had at least one of these discounts and the Terminix employees did not mention them. (Yet another indication of how well the employees are trained! Don't be dumb like me!!)

+ -1 moreI was using a different company. I was afraid that I had something in the attic. The other company did not take care of it. That was not part of their service. They would do it but would cost me a lot of money. I called Terminix and they did it as a part of their service and took care of everything. I did not have anything but they did the attic and checked it every couple of days. That was included as part of my service, which I thought, was very good. They will come anytime I think I have a problem, they would come out. However, all the companies would do that. They send the same technician out every time, which I appreciate. I have his cell phone number because if it is after hours, I cannot go through the company.
Description of Work: I use Terminix for pest control. They come every three months. The last time they were out was three weeks ago. I pay $79 which is automatically put on my charge. They check my house to make sure there are no roof rats getting in. They check to make sure that there is no place from where they can get in. They knock down any cobwebs or anything like that and then they spray. I use them for termite inspection too. They come in the house and check the house and outside.

+ -1 moreI haven’t had anybody else in the last six years. They come, I assume they do their job, and I pay them. They were charging me $85 but someone else quoted me $65 so they met that price; they’ll work with their customers to retain them. I don’t have any bugs so they must be doing well. I had a termite infestation this spring and they didn’t offer an emergency service, but I called around and no one offered emergency service. They are good about scheduling, they come when they say they are coming, and they have always been courteous.

+ -1 moreI haven?t actually had any pest control done by them. I spent $150 for a wood destroying organism report; we are trying to buy a house, and we have to have a WDO report before we buy it. The guys who came out were really good; they were quick and showed up on time. They were a little slow to send me the information, and I don?t know if it was an administrative error. Somebody in the office was just slow. I had to call them a second time to get my report mailed to me. I would use them again in the future if necessary.
Description of Work: I used Terminix to do a WDO inspection for me.
