It was excellent. The gentleman were gentleman. They were very respectful. There was no trash or anything left around. When the owner came out to collect the money, I found a mistake, and he immediately went to his car, grabbed a paint brush, and fixed the problem. I would highly recommend them. This company was very honest.

We had a wonderful experience with Zach and crew. We found Straight-Edge Painting on Angie's List. Zach returned our call promptly and came out to our house to give an estimate within 1 day of calling. Based on his professionalism and responsiveness, we chose him over other providers who gave us estimates. The crew arrived on time every morning for 9 straight days (excluding Sunday) and worked hard the whole time they were in our home. The were extremely respectful of our property and the fact that we were living in the house with small kids, which was not easy for them or for us! We have lots of moldings, high ceilings, columns, and other difficult work, and they did an excellent job. Zach made it clear that our satisfaction was his priority. My husband commented after they left that Zach did not once complain or make excuses when we asked for touch-ups, changed our minds, and requested additional work during the process. We will definitely recommend this company to others and will use them for our own future work (exterior painting) when the time comes. We highly recommend Straight-Edge Painting!

They did an excellent job! Zach is a complete professional. When I first called, he returned my call right away. He came out to assess the job later that day and provided a quote within less than 24 hours. The job was scheduled timely and he and his team arrived on time that day and completed the job in one day! They were all professional, friendly, and very considerate of our home. Everything was covered and moved if necessary and they cleaned up when they were done. I can't say enough about the quality of the work. When they were done, Zach asked me to do a walk through with him to make sure I was happy with the work. I had very few concerns and anything I did notice was fixed by Zach before leaving. After a couple of days, we decided we weren't happy with the color in the kitchen. This had nothing to do with Zach or with the quality of the work which was excellent (we picked out the color). I asked Zach if we could schedule time to get the kitchen repainted. Not only did he get this scheduled for us within a reasonable timeframe, but also at a very reasonable cost even though it was our issue. Orlando who works for Zach came out to repaint the kitchen and he did an excellent job. Our home looks beautiful; it's a complete transformation. We can't say enough about Zach, Ron, Paul and Orlando. They all did an amazing job and we will certainly be calling Zach the next time we need to hire a painter!

when Zach came out to do the estimate, I was hoping that his bid would be competitive, because I really liked him. He was professional, prompt, and responsive via text. He got the estimate to us the following day as promised, and it was competitively priced, actually on the lower end of the estimates. His crew was punctual and professional. They did a great job, and we're very pleased. Our house will be a rental again after we move, and we'll definitely hire him again. I'd trust him to give us a competitive and honest estimate from long distance, which is often hard to find. :)

It was several weeks after the estimate when the painting was done. Each time I contacted Zach with color choices or whatever, he was very responsive. At the last minute I asked for no VOC paint and he said he would look into it for me. The day the job was begun, Zach and his helper arrived on time and got right to work. I was impressed with how well they protected all of my things with plastic and tarps. In no time at all, they started, and worked hard the entire day . My job took 3 days. I could not have been more pleased. It was a pleasant experience in every way.

Wow is the first word that comes to mind. We were moving to Jacksonville from Tampa and needed to find a painter. So we went to Angies List . Zach came out within days of calling to give me an estimate. He emailed me back the next day with the estimate. I had gotten another estimate, but Zach was very professional and articulate so I made my decision. I cant say enough about Zach and his crew. Zach was a pleasure to work with. He was always on time and very professional. He paid great attention to details not only in the work provided, but explaining what he was going to do. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking to have their house painted. This was an older home that they purchased and it desperately needed painting inside to give it some character. Zach painted the mantel for them as well as a large beam that goes through the living area of the house.

Zach was very professional when providing his estimate and once completed, documented everything in writing. He and his team showed up on time for the job, were very detailed oriented, clean and did a fantastic job. I would use them again and exceeded my expectations. My condo looks beautiful!

We were very pleased with the service we received from Zach and the crew at Straight Edge Painting. We found them to be very detail-oriented and thorough in their work. My appointment was at 08:00, they were in my house and working by 08:00. They started at 8:00 and finish by 5. They cleanup after themselves and was gone. I have used Zachary before, and will not allow anyone else to paint for me.

We were new to the Jacksonville area and did a lot of research before selecting Zach/ Straight Edge Painting as our painter. We also wanted someone to paint our new home before we moved in and would be out of town. Zach painted 7 rooms in 2 days and did an excellent job. He sent us text updates so I would know how things were going since we was out of town. When we got back to our house we were so impressed by his work. He is an excellent painter. I would HIGHLY recommend him.

Straight Edge Painting did an excellent job for us. Zach met with us before the job and assisted us with selecting paint colors. They prepared the walls by filling in nail holes, re-caulking trim, and sanding for a smooth finish. The painting was completed in a timely manner (Two days). This company is very respectful of your possessions and ensures you are completely satisfied with their work. We've owned our home for 31 years and we've never had a paint job as professional as the one performed by Straight Edge Painting.

After taking into consideration all the doors and nooks and crannies that I would have to paint in my Master Bedroom and Bath that I did not have the patience to do the job right. I researched Angie?s List and saw all the positive reviews for Zach, and decided to give him a call. Zach was very prompt on responding to my initial request for an estimate. I considered the estimate very fair ($800 included paint, his services and a discount for finding getting his name from Angie?s List). He was able to work me into his schedule and he and a co-worked were able to complete the job in one day. Between the Master Bedroom, hall and Bathroom there are 7 doors, there are multiple windows including glass block windows he had to trim around, as well as around mirrors, and in the separate small toilet room. Zach also painted the door and trim to our pantry as well as a door between our Laundry room and garage. He even painted the medicine cabinets which I had not expected but was delighted that he did those as well. Zach covered everything with drop cloths and cleaned up everything when they were done. I was absolutely thrilled with how the walls look as well as the professionalism with which the service was provided. I would be happy to hire Zach and his team again for my next painting project. This company was one of the best painting companies I have every worked with. They returned my call right away, scheduled a date to do the work, showing up just as they promised. The workmanship was excellent. While they were painting they noticed that the hallway doors would not be all one color once they painted the areas requested. They painted the doors and baseboards in the hall without charging me any extra. They really take pride in their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The owner and one worker showed up on time. They went right to work. They were clean and they cleaned up after themselves. They picked up the drop cloths and put them all down again the next day. They finished the job in 2 days. I can not say enough about how professional they are. Zach the owner gives you a very professional hand out and quote. He tells you what he is going to do in writing. The painted walls are so beautifully painted, I have had many people ask me for Zach information.

Straight Edging Painting did an awesome job painting the interior of our home. They went above and beyond to do a great job and to make sure we were happy with it. They just didn't come in and start painting, they patched and sanded the walls to take out any pre-existing imperfections. When they would finish a room we were encouraged to find any area that might have been missed on the first pass. We found a few as you always do and they happily fixed everything we noted. You can really tell they want to make sure you a completely satisfied with the job they have done. Zach, the owner and his guys were all very punctual, friendly, professional and easy to work with. I was very impressed with their work. You can tell they really care. I have already recommended them to friends and neighbors.

It could not have gone better ... even if I had done it myself! I have been painting for almost 15 years but due to hip surgery was unable to paint this house we moved into last October. I actually love to paint so it was really hard for me to contract out this work. Zach and Jeff did an amazing job! Their attention to detail can not be understated. Zach was even accommodating when I changed my mind on the closet door color he and had to repaint 8 doors! Zach even installed a recessed medicine cabinet; something that was not in the original scope of work. They were also very friendly to my pets and a pleasure to have in my home.
