They arrived early and waited outside, so that they would ring my bell promptly at the scheduled time. Zach came with two men and after introductions we walked through the house and made our plans. They got to work immediately. And no detail was spared. Even those unrelated got fixed; if the painters felt leaving it untouched would sully their finished product. They spent a long time with the mud work it took to level out my walls. In the end, I had a fresh, crisp, beautifully painted area. Thanks guys!!!

Zach came to our home and professionally analyzed our desires and need for painting a large part of our home. Within 24 hours he provided an estimate, and went so far as to squeeze us in to his already busy schedule. Zach remained in contact with us prior to his appointment, gathering and providing additional information as required. On the day of the project, Zach and his associates arrived on time, worked quietly, professionally and swiftly, so much so that the budgeted 8 hour day was completed to our satisfaction in just 5 hours. They cleaned up completely, leaving no trace of their activity except an expertly painted room!

Most of the exterior of our home had not been painted in 20 years. Some of it had not been painted in over 30 years. Orlando arrived early Monday morning, pressure washed the entire exterior of our home, scrapped off peeling paint, caulked every hole and crack he could find (and there were many)and cleaned everything up before he left. He did all this by himself and rarely stopped. Early Tuesday, Orlando was joined by two other painters and the prep work continued which included more caulking, scrapping the metal of three trellises and scrubbing mildew off the back wall.( Like I said, this house had not been painted in quite some time.) Then brick, lights and windows were papered and taped off and the painting began. Once again, the crew rarely stopped. Bright and early Wednesday morning, the crew returned and and after another long day's work, the painting process was completed and everything was cleaned up. I cannot speak highly enough of Straight Edge painting and this Exterior painting crew. The work they did was exceptional especially considering what they were working with. Two coats of paint were applied with great precision, with straight edges,and no drips or runs. Great care was given to protecting surfaces (brick, doors, windows) so that no paint ended up where it didn't belong. Orlando even asked me to move my car which was parked at the edge of my driveway so that the paint being applied that day would not be carried by the breeze and end up on my car. The attention to detail was far beyond my expectations. Orlando and his crew were the epitome of professionalism, courtesy and knowledge of the exterior painting process. Not only did they do excellent work but they were a pleasure to be around and eager to answer any question that I had. My husband and I could not be more pleased with the work done by Straight Edge Painting. Our house looks beautiful.

They have a two room minimum so they wouldn't even talk to me about my job.

Absolutely FANTASTIC job!!!!! Zach (the owner) gave us an excellent estimate for a two day job and made very good recommendations for the correct quantity and quality of the paint we'd need for the job. We set a date for the job, he emailed and called to confirm several days before the job started. On the start day, he rang the doorbell at exactly 8 AM and was ready to get to work. He and his one man crew (Mike) were amazingly fast as they put protective covers over all the furniture, removed blinds, electrical covers, patched minor holes, sanded, taped and primed as needed and in general insured all the wall surfaces were ready to be painted. He decided that the crown moulding in the living room would look better if he caulked the upper edge, so with our permission, he then proceeded to caulk and paint the moulding at no additional charge because he wanted us to be happy with the completed job. (He was right, it looks amazing) At the end of day one, all the drop cloths were gone the rooms had been cleaned and vacuumed and he had the master bedroom and living room walls and all trim completely painted with two coats of paint. The bedroom furniture had been put back in place and we were able to spend the evening in our living room. Day two: Again punctual arrival at 8 AM and right to work, by 2 PM the rest of the job was complete. Kitchen, 16' high entry area and stairwell, and upstairs hall, a last minute addition that had not been included in the original estimate, plus all the downstairs trim and doors were painted to perfection. Throughout the two days Zach was respectfully, responsive to all our questions and ensured we were happy with the process and results. It was a joy to watch this truly professional painter work. I've never seen paint edges cut so fast and straight by hand. The clean up was very thorough both inside and outside the house. We are completely satisfied with Straight Edge Painting, punctual, responsive, respectful, and professional, they have our highest recommendation.

We were out of town while they painted. Zac came exactly when he said he would and sent photos nightly. He covered and protected everything around area. It took 3 days. When we returned all was perfect! Excellent painters and very professional! Will hire them every time i need painting done!

We hired Straight Edge to paint our stucco exterior based on their Angie's List reviews. And they delivered! Orlando and Paul showed up before 0800 all four days that they worked. They worked hard all four days too. Other than lunch, I never saw them take a break. They did a few extra favors for me too, and didn't charge a dime. Our house is fairly large. Two stories, about 3300 sf. All stucco. We changed our color too. A big job. Our house looks new again. Very neat. These guys did not leave a mess. The end result was phenomenal! Beautiful job! Straight Edge did a wonderful, wonderful paint job on my living & dining room, kitchen & hall, and also corrected all the painting errors lleft in my bedrooms and bath by an inept painter, so my whole home is now fresh and the paint is so professional. I highly recommend Zach and his company. They do great work. I had to wait a few weeks (due to them being so busy), but it was worth the wait!!! I would definitely use them again.

A very professional, effective and efficient repainting of my living and dining rooms walls, doors and trim. Arrived on time and did the job in one day. Zachary & Crew painted the entire interior of our house (2200 square feet) in less than a week. We have had several houses in several cities painted, and Straight Edge Painting's performance outshone all of our prior painters. Everyone showed up to the job on time or early (!) and even worked an entire Saturday so that we could move in on time. The quality of their work is outstanding. So outstanding, in fact, that we plan on asking them to come back and paint the exterior of our house as well! If you are looking for true quality painters, these are the guys for you. They might be a bit more expensive than your average painting contractor, but they are totally worth it.

We hired Zach and his crew to paint the entire interior of our home as part of a large renovation project. He and his guys did a superior job. Arrived each day early and on time, taped paper over our entire new floors to prevent damage, and cleaned up each afternoon. The guys on the job were courteous and responsible and were always helpful when we had questions. Zach made sure any request we had was carefully considered and made sure we were completely satisfied. Straight Edge did an awesome job and we are completely happy.

Had 3 estimates from local paint companies. Straight Edge estimate was detailed and thorough on what was going to be done. Zach Bristol contacted me when he said he would, emailed my estimate and although not the least expensive of 3 companies I got estimates from, I chose Straight Edge based on their Angie's List reviews. Although the start of the project was delayed a week due to weather Zach kept me informed on when they would start and estimated starting on a Monday and completing by Thursday. Orlando showed up Monday before the expected start time, which was fine and discussed with me what he would do the first day. After pressure washing the house thoroughly he spent the majority of the day sealing and caulking all of the gaps and seams around the house. He coordinated with my daughter who lives in our house now on when he would return on Tuesday and he was very courteous, professional and punctual. Job was finished on Wednesday, one day ahead of schedule and the house looks great! I told Zach that Orlando was an asset to his company. He is very thorough, takes his time to do things right the first time and very pleasant to talk to. You can tell he takes pride in what he does and he enjoys what he does.

Zach and his crew do excellent work. They painted 3 rooms and a hallway, including ceilings. They also painted all the trim and built-in bookcases. Everything looks beautiful. They did a super job cleaning up after themselves (I think the rooms are now cleaner than they started).

Zach and his crew are a class act. They showed up on time and finished their work on schedule. The quality of their work is excellent and they take the time to cover all the furniture and floors. I have lived in 6 houses and have had painting work done in all six. This by far was the best experience of the bunch.

Outstanding job by a highly professional and personable team. Job presented numerous environmental (wind, cold temperatures) and architectural challenges (steep roof pitches, odd angles, etc.) that Zach Bristol's experienced team of Orlando, Mark and Nick collectively met with positive aplomb. Zach and his crew were extremely professional and very easy to work with. He painted my house in stages and I was very greatful for his flexibility. He even sent me pictures of the job as it progressed when I was unable to be there! Our house walls were extremely damaged from neglect (short sale) and he was able to bring the walls back to a smooth, clean surface. They taped, and tarped, and cleaned up every day. Our house was a large undertaking, as every surface had to be painted. I highly recommend them not only for their competitive pricing, but really truly for their quality end product. We were really, really pleased with the price, attitude, prep work and clean up. Zack came promptly when we called for an estimate and fit us into the schedule as soon as we were ready. He checked in ahead of time to get the details of the paint we wanted to use. The guys - 5 of them! - showed up on time and were cheerful and friendly the whole time they were here. They did an amazing amount of prep work - taping off, putting paper on the wood floors, wrapping the cabinets and bookcases in plastic, sanding, patching, edging, priming and putting on two good coats of paint. Zack did the knock-down ceiling repair and, if you don't know where to look, you can't see it. When they were done, they used a Swiffer on the floor to get the sanding dust left after the paper was taken up. As they left, Orlando said to call them if we had any more painting to be done. John said, "We have a house. There is always painting to be done! And we WILL call you". We are beyond pleased!

Zach, Orlando & Nick from Straight Edge Paining did an excellent job of making my house look like new! Their estimate was the lower of the two that I requested. They were also more detailed about the scope of the work that they would perform. From time I contacted Zach for the estimate until the last bit of paint had been applied, these men were prompt, professional, and knowledgeable about their craft. Even though he had to schedule around weather and the holiday, Zach was in constant communication to ensure the job was completed in a most timely manner. The stucco was riddled with cracks and damage.The damage was expertly repaired and the paint job is stunning! The paint that was used was of the utmost quality and the colors are exactly what I had chosen. My roof was also stained and dirty. They pressure washed the roof and used a stain remover on it. The whole house looks awesome! I highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again.

Zach and Straight Edge Painting were outstanding. On the day of the estimate he was very detailed and meticulous explaining exactly what services would be provided. When I got the price of the estimate I was surprised because he was not only the most thorough of the 3 painters I had give estimates but also the most reasonably priced. I later learned that he was pricing the job low in order for his crew to continue working during a normally slow time of the year. He sacrificed his profit margin in order to take care of his employees which truly shows the kind of man that Zach is. I can't even describe how great the painting looks either. They finished a 4 day job in 3 days and meticulously went through every wall I with a fine tooth comb to repair any previous damage and dealt with my picky wife with a smile pn there faces the whole time. His staff was extremely professional and polite and the paint looks amazing. I will absolutely use straight edge painting for any work I need in the future.

Zach was the only Angie's List provider her responded to me the same day and set up a time to meet. He arrived promptly at 8:00 on the given day and quickly, with a practiced eye surveyed the situation. Asking the right questions he was able to assess my wants and the painting requirements. A price conscious quote arrived that afternoon. On painting day Zach and his team (Paul and Brian) arrived on time. They quickly established a game plan, grabbed their tools and tarps, and went to work. Despite having to spend more time skimming a wall to rebuild it and painting the other half of the cathedral ceilings, the guys did it with good humor. They went the additional mile by spray painting the ceiling air registers and doing some caulking in a couple areas.Their commitment to quality work and customer satisfaction is why they are building an excellent reputation. I will hire Straight Edge Painting again and highly recommend their services to others.

Zach gave us a detailed estimate that seemed fair. He and his team arrived, ready to work right on time each day. They worked steadily with just a few breaks and cleaned up before leaving. We have a lot of artwork that needed special care and they took the time to handle it with care. They re-hung all the artwork, according to my artist-husband's wishes. Zach had estimated that the job might take three days, and because he had an extra painter on the crew, they were finished in two days. It is a job well done.

We recently moved in our new house, which badly needed updating. Zach and his team were fantastic. They were extremely detailed and meticulous, sanding and repairing every hole/issue on our walls, and the paint looks flawless. They also removed some wallpaper, and painted our trim. The worked extremely quickly for the amount of area they needed to cover, and were very careful and clean. They were also very courteous to my family. I'd easily will use their services again in the future, as I have a few more rooms to paint :-) Thanks!

Zach and Mark were terrific. They arrived on time and got straight to work. The paint job was excellent, and I am very picky. I especially appreciated how neat and clean they left my home afterwards. All of the furniture was back where it belonged and Zach even vacuumed.
