I was very impressed with how organized and professional the owner of Straight Edge Painting, Zachary Bristol, was when he came to give me an estimate. He provided me with information about his company, and details of what the work he would do would involve. He got back to me with the detailed estimates very quickly. We agreed on a start date and they began when they said they would. They told me up front what would happen each day. Every day the crew arrived right on time and worked diligently. All the painters were polite and professional. Every day I was asked if things were going as I wanted, and if I was happy with the work that had been done - not only by the owner but the painters too. In spite of intense heat the days they were here, they remained pleasant and I didn't hear one complaint! (I don't know how they did it.) They were neat and cleaned up at the end of each day. The respected my home and the landscaping and tried not to inconvenience me unnecessarily. They completed the exterior in just 9 work days - and it's a big house! They simultaneously started the kitchen on day 5 so both jobs wrapped up at the same time which I really appreciated. I'm thrilled with both of the finished projects. The exterior looks really beautiful and the kitchen cabinets turned out perfectly - my kitchen looks brand new! Over the years, we've built two new houses and have renovated several, both Inside and out, so we've hired a lot of painters. But, I have to say, I've never come across such a professional organization or had better results. I highly recommend Straight Edge Painting !

I was impressed with the professionalism and thoroughness of Zach, the owner. He arrived at our home, patiently answered my many questions, and provided us with a binder containing information about his company and procedures. He said he would have a quote for us within 2-3 days. The quote arrived the next day. His staff arrived on time each day (I am a stickler about punctuality) and put in a good day's work. The employees were courteous and helpful. His employee, Paul, was especially personable and is a good PR rep for the company. They did an excellent job prepping the walls and any questions I had about the painting were addressed right away and in a courteous manner. The staff did a good job cleaning up at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend this company and plan to use them for any future painting needs.

Our overall experience went really well. The crew was always very professional and it was nice to see they worked well as a team. I got the impression they were happy to be working for Zach and you could see he made sure to take care of his quality workers. The one issue that we had with the process was when the crew cleaned out their equipment it killed the grass in a few spots around the yard. I assume the oil based primer was the main reason. Once we discussed this with Zach he apologized and offered to replace any sod that didn't recover as expected.

I think Straight Edge Painting Co. did a beautiful job painting my house. They were very professional and wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the end results. I would definitely recommend this company to any one.

Adrian, Paul and Ronnie were awesome. Very professional. They spent about 1.5-2 hours prepping everything. And I mean everything. They moved/covered all furniture, put cloth down wherever they'd be walking (I'm not sure, but I don't think their feet ever touched my floor), taped along all the edges, unscrewed all the little covers on the electrical outlets, and repaired any holes left from the previous homeowner. Then the painting began. With the three of them there, the actual painting went relatively quickly. A few of the walls required three coats, but most were done in two. Each of the painters was highly skilled, methodical, and careful throughout the whole process. They cleaned up and moved all the furniture back when they were finished. There was a final walkthrough before I was asked for payment. All of the rooms and walls look great. The day could not have gone any smoother. Do yourself a favor and hire Zach and his team at Straight Edge Painting. You'll be happy you did.

The original job included the removal of the wallpaper as well as the painting. The removal of the wallpaper was the reason for hiring out the job because a previous attempt in another room was a disaster and resulted in sheetrock replacement. However, while moving bath stuff out, husband pulled small corner of wallpaper off with ease and kept going. Dave did our job in one day (two were allotted with possibility of three because of wallpaper situation). He arrived exactly on time and except for a one hour lunch break continued until complete. Any DIYer knows preparation is everything and Dave "nailed it". Surfaces, fixtures and tile were covered. Glue from wallpaper, nail holes, dings and gaps in old caulk were all taken care of as specified in contract/estimate. Paint on ceiling and walls looks great and clean up was good. Zach adjusted original estimate to reflect our removal of the wallpaper and finding no nasty surprises. Still a bit of "sticker shock" for us senior citizens accustom to doing it ourselves and being thrifty. BUT WELL WORTH THE MONEY.

This was a great experience for us. We have never had the exterior of any of our homes painted before so we were somewhat nervous about what to expect and whom to hire. From the initial consult to the completion of the project, everything was great. Zachary came out the same day I called to give us a quote. We called several reputable painting companies and Straight Edge had the most competitive pricing and great reviews. Soon after we agreed on a price, Zachary gave us an exact start date. We even had someone from Sherwin Williams come out for a complimentary consult to help us select our paint colors. The painting crew showed up promptly and worked hard each and every day. They cleaned up each day and would let me know what to expect the next day. We had a few minor hiccups that go along with any home improvement projects, but Zachary was more than willing to discuss and fix any problems that occurred. There were no hidden costs, we paid what was quoted. The painting work was professional, neat, and clean. It turned out wonderful. We even had several neighbors stop by to admire the house and ask about StraightEdge. I would definitely recommend this company. We will use them again when we have the interior of our home painted in a few months.

We are very happy with the quality of work provided by Zach and his team (Paul, Dave, and Larry). They were punctual and professional. They were very thorough in their prep work, which was reassuring. After they were finished, they walked around the house with us several times to ensure we were satisfied and no corrections needed to be made. We were impressed with the team's efficiency and ability to complete the project in such a timely manner. Our house looks fantastic and we are very happy with the work done! Our only, minor, complaint is that the guys rinsed some of their tools off in our lawn, causing some damage to the grass. However, this would NOT deter us from recommending the company to others. Just something for the team to keep in mind.

From start to finish, Zachary Bristol and his team at Straight Edge Painting were complete professionals. I was impressed that Zachary presented a complete written proposal with all insurance coverage included. Both Zachary and the entire team reported to work on time, every day, for two weeks. I appreciated the fact that Zachary (owner) was on site every day with his crew.?I felt very comfortable allowing Straight Edge Painting to work on our home even though we hadn't moved to the property?when the work was scheduled to be completed. During the 2 weeks of this project, Zachary kept in complete contact by phone, text, and email to update us on the progress of the painting. The entire painting project turned out beautiful, and I would highly recommend Straight Edge Painting. I will definitely use Straight Edge Painting for any future painting work.

It went Great! Everyone arrived on-time both days. Zach and his team did an awesome job. They set up a barrier to protect the rest of the house from wall sanding. Dust was very limited and they cleaned up after themselves. The team is very professional and courtesy. They did a great job and I would hire Straight Edge Painting again. Also, I did get several estimates prior to selecting a company and Straight Edge Painting wasn't the least expensive, but I could tell he took a lot of pride in his company from our first meeting and the job would be completed to my satisfaction. The crew arrived when they were scheduled to arrive, finished up timely and I had a great paint job when all was said and done. The job was done professionally, timely and on budget. They cleaned up well afterwards.

Zach arrived at 8:00 AM sharp to begin the painting project. Some of the walls needed to be sanded prior to being painted. Zach went ahead and knocked out that part of the project. He finished by 1:00 PM and the bathroom looks fantastic. The attention to detail is very evident and my wife and I could not be happier. This is the second project Straight Edge Painting has completed for us and we will absolutely use them again.

We moved into a house that was hastily painted for the sale and there were quite a few mishaps during the process. We contacted Zach and he was extremely responsive and willing to work with us every step of the process from quoting through work follow-up during the last walk-through. He and his team were punctual for the appointment and finished extremely quickly. When my wife and I got home we were extremely pleased with the work the team performed and even touched up the trim without being asked. We have talked about this company with all of our friends and would highly recommend them for future work. Call them, you will not be disappointed.

Zach called and set the job up. He was professional, energetic and polite. Orlando and Ray got to my house on time and did a great job of getting it all done in one day. The work they did is sharp, with clean lines. Even my neighbors were impressed by their work. Orlando stayed a little late to finish another coat on the front door. They are sticklers for details. They cleaned up after themselves and left me very satisfied with Straight Edge Painting. I highly recommend them.

I purchased the Angie's list deal for 2 painters/8 hours for $649. Zach came out first, before purchasing it so that i would have an idea of what they could get done during that time frame to ensure expectations were in alignment with what they could provide. We scheduled for the following week and they came out on 2/18 for the day. Everything from the initial contact to the completion of the work with Straight Edge was great. There were no issues at all and i definitely would use them again.

Based on other Angie's List reviews and the favorable impression I had from our initial meeting, I hired Straight Edge Painting to paint the interior of our new house in Del Webb at Nocatee. Zach's team consisting of Crew Chief, Paul Stoner, along with Orlando and Miguel, completed the work in the estimated time and it looks terrific. The attention to detail is everything I hoped for. The difference in the appearance of the painting done by a professional painter and the sprayed on paint from the builder is noticeable. We have rounded corners and on the ones where two paint colors meet, the line is perfect. Zach and Paul were very accommodating about removing the wire racks from the Master Bedroom closet, prepping the walls and having it painted and ready for the closet installers two days after the start of the project. We currently live three hours away. I handed Zach a key and said we will see you in a week. He provided progress updates during the week. We couldn't have been more pleased when we walked into the house and saw the completed project. I highly recommend Straight Edge Painting and will definitely use them again.

I am very pleased with Straight Edge Painting. I spoke to Zach one day after I made my purchase through Angie's List and made the appointment for a few days later. The door looks brand new!!! The attention to detail is much appreciated and shows their expertise. I could not be happier!!

They did an excellent job, on price and faster than quoted. The only hiccup was overlooking the bifold doors to be painted, but Zack immediately addressed the oversight. The walls were rolled, not sprayed, trim was brushed and doors were sprayed to prevent streaks/brushstrokes. I'm very happy with the entire experience.
