They did a good job and were on time. They stayed true to the cost and the system is working just fine. I don't know if the cost was a bit much but I like it that they did what they said that they would do and did it in the time that they said that they would.

I would say the quality and timeliness. All the technicians they use have been very good. I can't differentiate between them, they have all been very good.

The agent seemed only interested in selling one particular unit. I asked about the quietness and other features and was told that they are all about the same. They installed the unit and were very prompt, but I am not happy with the noise it makes when it goes on and off. They sent a tech out, but the noise persists; each time it goes on and off (clunk). How do know ahead of time how a unit operates?

I was not there, somebody else was taking care of it for me. I was not available, so I don’t know how long it took. It doesn’t say on the bill. They did leave the area clean.

They were good. It took a few hours to do the project and more then one person came out.

We've used the same company for about 25 years. The last big thing they did was put in a whole new system. The first system we did was about 25 years ago and it needed to be changed. For price, I'm thinking they're pretty fair; I would say that would be a B. I want to say there were three people who came out to complete that service. There were two in the attic and then the other guy who did the other stuff and it took a day to complete. Seriously, I was at work; my husband stayed home and took care of all this. Yeah, they absolutely left the area clean. We're very satisfied with Snyder. Let me tell you this: When we first moved here we had an old clunker of an air conditioner here at this house for the heat pump or whatever it was, and we had a day of freezing. I had a son here with chickenpox, we were new in this city, and we called Snyder and they were here in an hour. The people who were servicing the old HV or whatever they call it - the heat pump - never even called back. So Snyder has my undying patronage forever, because when you have a sick child and it's forty degrees in your house, then you know you have problems. But they were here right away. I'm sure there are cheaper units and whatever out there someplace; however, I want Snyder and I want what Snyder can do for me. For the most recent check-up, the worker is always great because they send the same guy all the time.

Sales person was attentive, responsive, and flexible. Installation crew showed up on time and was courteous, efficient, and professional. Installers focused on doing a quality job, taking no shortcuts. Installers took great care in performing the demanding work required to replace the air handler in the attic space. In some other instances, they went above and beyond. For example, where we asked for a duct to be reattached to a floor vent, they actually replaced a short run of damaged duct in addition to reconnecting it. They coordinated all tasks required of an independent electrician. Work was finished on time, and they did a nice job of cleaning up before they left. It's always a little stressful having folks doing work inside the house, but the crew from Snyder was very friendly, and made the process easy on us. They even checked back with us afterward to make sure we were pleased with the installation.

We had a bit of time to schedule the replacement at our convenience, instead of it being an emergency repair. We knew it was time, as the old unit was just not performing as efficiently as it should. We had time to compare prices and were happy with our decision. Work was completed on time, with little inconvenience, and at the agreed-to price. Team seemed knowledgeable and were professional, and they kept us posted on progress as they went along. They started about 8 in the morning, and the work was completed by early afternoon. They cleaned up after completion, too!

We never hired them and of the 4 companies I had come out to give us estimates for 2 heat pumps this was the most unprofessional.

The salesman came out promptly but did not give us a detailed written estimate. He took out his business card, wrote a price on the card and then that was it. I've never seen anything like it. I have gotten estimates from 2 other companies and they spelled out exactly what they were going to do and install, prices of each item and names of the system I was getting. It all seemed very shady and I'm not sure why he didn't write out a proposal. Although the price was fine, I just didn't feel comfortable going with them without a written estimate.

They are a good company. They always have a supervisor on duty when the work is being done. I use them for maintenance twice a year. They are very thorough and honest. They tell you like it is.

Excellent! I was able to get a technician to come out on a Saturday! The fellow who showed up did a thorough cleaning of the unit and recommended replacing the capacitor that had seen better days. He took care of my unit like it was his own!

ON TIME, ALL WORK AS PROMISED DONE. GOOD JOB.

Miserably. I was told it would take one day, maybe two with clean-up. I ordered pizza and drinks for the installers for the first two days...thinking they would be there only a day or so. It took weeks. Rep promised that unit with filter could be placed in garage. That turned out not to be true. It's up in the attic where I cannot change the filters unless I call Snyder's ($$$). Two teams promised for installation. One team showed (two men). Promised that intake in ceiling near bedrooms would be not be located next to ceiling light fixture. There's a huge hole in my ceiling near the ceiling light fixture. Installers burned out the first Daiken engine by installing condensation drain angling upward, i.e., so that gravity would not work. Drain water filled up drain pan and auxiliary drain pan and then flooded new engine. The installation failed inspection twice. The installation and inspection process took so long that Snyder's internal schedule for sending out "non-payment" threats was exceeded and I got a notice that I would be sued if I did not pay my obligation to them (this before the final inspection). I reported them to the Better Business Bureau. The head of the company called and asked what he could do to make it up to me. He was polite and contrite, but too much had gone very wrong for me to say, "Oh, that's ok." We finally settled on his providing maintenance of my HVAC system for free for a certain amount of time. Only then did I remove the report from the BBB. I thought I was dealing with a reputable and professional company, one that would keep to the agreed upon rules of installation. Never again. All of the installers were polite and on time and sympathetic. There were many of them since this whole thing took weeks to finish. I cannot with any certainty say that these two events are connected, but two weeks after the installation was completed, my home was invaded, ransacked and I lost thousands of dollars in jewelry. My advice, get customer approvals before selecting any company to do work inside your home. Make sure what is agreed is written down in your work order. Get every name of every person coming into your home to work. Do not leave any worker alone in the same vicinity of your valuables. That seems obvious I know, but I trust too easily. My jewelry was hidden, but that did not matter. Clean-up of the premises after installation was very good. No old ducting or insulation was left on my lawn. The Daiken system works beautifully. Regular maintenance is performed at no cost as worked out between Snyder's and me. Technicians are polite and friendly and most repsectful. The head of the company is still on my speed dial, however.

They come out twice a year for maintenance. I pay for it in advance. I've had good people. The price is reasonable. The quality is very good. It's usually one person and it takes about an hour, it depends on what needs to be done.

Professional, reasonably priced, timely

I have had my A/C unit by four different companies over the past 15 years, but only Snyder has been consistent with their bi-annual calls to check my system. More often than not I perform my own maintenance, but this year I decided to go with the Preferred Customer Service agreement. Ryan (whose last name I cannot remember) service my A/C system on 2/24/17. Very professional and easy to talk to. He walked me through what he'd done, specified what was still working well for a 15-year-old unit, and also showed me what might need to be serviced in the future. At no point did he try to sell me on something that was needed. He did, however, point out that my condenser was pulling around 25 amps. This should show in my utility bill (which it was), and he warned me this usually indicates a component that is going bad. He shared the cost, and what I could do to replace it on my own if I so desired. Based on the age of the system I noted a need to replace it, and he scheduled a visit for today (Monday the 28th). Ryan returned with field supervisor Jesse Ham. Jesse was equally professional and easy to talk to. I asked them both a variety of questions about what unit would work best for my square footage, discussed how some rooms are harder to cool, and asked about what should be purchased for folks with more serious allergies. I had received multiple quotes from other companies, and I also shared some knowledge I had obtained from those visits. Jesse never tried top push me into a system that was more than my house, and family, needed. Both he and Ryan were very honest about the total cost of ownership and return on investment. I eventually decided on a 5k ton SEER 14 that is getting installed tomorrow. In my experience, far too often folks who show character in jobs requiring the sale of something expensive is absent. Both Jesse and Ryan had ample opportunity to push me into a 5 figure purchase, but instead, they allowed me to make an informed decision based on what I felt was best for me. We discussed SEER ratings, variable speed units, and humidity control to name a few. My wife works in real estate and diabetic supply sales so I'm very familiar with the sales ethic of increased profit at any cost. This experience has made me a Snyder client for life.

Had my home HVAC heat pump unit stop working, so no cooling and emergency heat only (lucky this was a nice week not to need AC). Salesperson/tech came over to inspect and suggest suitable replacement units based on size required and budget (I already knew I had to replace HVAC unit due to a previous tech recommendation). He was very nice and explained things in detailed in accordance with parameters mentioned. A week later the installers came to remove, install and service HVAC unit. They were very nice (three guys), and fast (two hour job for 2003 ranch style home). No mess after work. Unit works fine and all is good.
