Randy & Ray's

Randy and his crew were terrific. We'd had the holidays and rain and our sprinkler system being overhauled and Randy worked around all the issues (including a derailment of his own holiday due to family emergency). They were tidy, asked the right questions, made good use of time and offered advice on all aspects of the install -- including recommending that we NOT do some work that would have made them a bit more money but would have been detrimental to our use of the space. The sprinkler crew had not moved the pipe and head out far enough and the guys just dug in and moved it down another few feet without a hitch. Randy personally came to build and install in a stairway to our patio extension. The patio looks fantastic. Exactly what I'd envisioned. By New Year's Eve, our family was on the patio enjoying a fire. Best way to ring in a new year!

They're pretty much done with the work. They just have to seal it, which they haven't been able to do because it's raining. They're fantastic, absolutely fantastic. He's very professional. He came out, walked around and gave me a bunch of different options. He put together a presentation and gave me an estimate. The price is reasonable for the amount of work they're doing. I really like them.

Randy was fantastic to work with. We contacted him while he was out of the office and as soon as he returned we received an e-mail back from him. We set up a time for the estimate and he was punctual and professional. He brought out a booklet with all the information we needed about the paver stones and even told us to take a look at the showroom to make sure we knew the color stone we wanted. We let them know that we would like to hire them to do the job, and within several days the paver stones were delivered and the next day the patio was installed. The workers were prompt and professional and made sure that everything was exactly to our liking. I would highly recommend this company as the work was great and they are very fairly priced (we got a quote from another company for the same work that was outrageously overpriced).

Randy met with us within days of requesting a quote and listened to our ideas. He was able to accurately see our vision and emailed us promptly with the design within a day. Construction was soon completed very efficiently within 3 days. From sod removal to the final sweeping of the driveway, they took great pride in their work. Our finished product is beautiful.

They started with the paver installation in the backyard. The crew worked hard all day and only took a break for lunch. They then installed the stones, edging and stepping stones. The walls were built. The building of the back yard area took 2 days. We were very impressed with the crew and how they managed to bring our backyard to life. It is beautiful. Once the sealing was done the color became even more beautiful. We have spent so many evenings sitting outside and enjoying the cooler weather. This area will get a lot of use. The driveway looks great and is more functional with the additional pavers. I would not hesitate to use Randy and Ray's again.

Excellant. It was a small job and another local company that we had called (before joining Angie's List) did not even return our call due to the small size of the job. Randy came out and gave a reaponable quote. He was able to locate pavers that were a perfect match and where we did not have to buy a full pallet (only needed about 1/2). His installer did a perfect job of mathcing and the pad exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them.

Randy Metzger and his team did an absolutely fantastic job. Communication was great right from start to finish. They showed up on time, with the right materials and consulted with another Vendor who was working simultaneously so our overall project was completed exactly as we had hoped. If they are working on another project I strongly recommend waiting for them to get to yours if they can't start right away (weather delay) - any wait is well worth it for the professionalism and quality of work. Pricing was more than fair and of course, you get what you pay for. There is a reason Randy is rated top in his field on Angie's List.

Randy came out and provided a prompt and fair estimate. His employee that installed my pavers was professional. All work was clean, fast and looks amazing. would use again for other projects.

He was very polite. He understood what I wanted. He gave me a rough estimate and it was fairly priced. I like his price and he had a good recommendation on Angie's List. He's obviously done a lot of work and people were pleased with the results. I felt comfortable and thought he understood what I wanted and didn't try to talk a lot of extras.

Randy & Ray's and crew did an excellent job. Worked with us on the design and did exactly what we wanted. They were punctual, and cleaned up after the job was completed. We are very stoked on the new backyard. Thanks Randy & Ray's! A++++++

Randy was the third estimate I received and I decided to go with Randy as I felt he actually understood was in envisioned for my space. What I received was beyond my expectations. I could not be happier with my new patio. He not only made this process so easy but always answered any questions I had. His crew was so professional and nice. My neighbors commented on how much care they took into making sure not to turn my small construction zone into a major mess. From demo to install took two days. You wouldn't even realize they were here. So impressed with how my new space turned out.

This job took longer than anticipated due to bad weather and heavy rains. The area where the driveway was to go was inundated, and Randy had to bring in a larger backhoe and extra bedrock. He deserves great credit for persevering with a difficult job, always responding to our calls, and keeping us informed of his progress. He did not charge us any extra for the extra time and materials. The job was professionally done, and looks beautiful, matching the existing pavers very nicely. We later hired Randy to put down some more crushed rock at the edges of the driveway, which he did very promptly, a nice neat job. This contractor is top of our list for paver and driveway work.

Randy and Ray's did an outstanding job on our patio and fire pit. The guys who came out to install the pavers were extremely courteous and kept everything very clean. They were here for three days and they completely cleaned up everything each night before they left. Other than the pallets of pavers in our driveway you would've never known that there was work being done in the backyard. The pavers look great and we are completely satisfied with the work that was done!

They took time and attention to make sure the sprinkler system was taken care of, and to make sure the patio was put in correctly. They worked very hard and did a great job. Anybody who has seen it has been very impressed. Randy came out and talked to us, covering everything we were looking for, even some of our concerns. This was a difficult job because I live in a town home, and they had to transport all materials around the entire building to reach my home. An excellent job and a great price! I love my patio!

Randy called a scheduled the appointment. HE NEVER SHOWED UP OR CALLED TO CANCEL. I find this to be very rude. I cannot image a company into days market that turns down a job that will be over $2000.00

Randy worked with me on a design, and after no less than 6 different modifications/changes, we ended up with exactly what we wanted. We were informed of the various options for materials, and all options and prices were discussed at length. The construction began the day the materials were delivered (less than 2 weeks after ordered), and lasted 6 full days. Randy's workers started each day at 7 a.m. without fail, and did not leave until close to 5 p.m. every day. I had several questions and a few small changes during the construction, and all were addressed and handled without hesitation. We are 100% satisfied with the results and would highly recommend Randy & Ray's to anyone interested in paver/stone work.

We are very pleased with the stone project that Randy and Rays did for us and I would not hesitate to contact them again for future projects. The workers came when they said they would, they were prompt and courteous. The workers that came to the house were the same two guys the whole job and they were very professional. They made sure to make the area neat and tidy when they left each evening. We appreciate Randy's "hands-on", coming to the house to check on all the work being done. We also appreciated the fact that Randy let us know before the job even started that two of the days they could not come because of a previous appointment. The price was exactly as he quoted, no surprises and when the job was completed you would have never known because of how neat the workers put everything back.

Randy installed a paver path from the end of our driveway around to the pool screen door as well as a paver path from the gate on the other side of the pool to the adjacent pool screen door. He also built us a 7' X 10' wood privacy screen. Curtis and Brad were the brothers that did all the installing at Randys direction and they did an excellent job as well as being very polite and professional. Clean up was top notch and all details were addressed to my satisfaction. Randy is very creative and has skill sets in many areas. If you are fortunate enough to get him for your project, he will not disappoint. This was my second paver project using Randy. I will post pics of the work soon. Thanks again Randy. Communication to me prior to the job commencing was excellant, especially considering there was a rain delay to content with. The quality of work of work also excellant, and the job was finished on time. Owner is very easy to work with and very professional. I saw him even cleaning up further afer his workers left. .

They exceeded my expectations. Provided feedback on design and assistance with the selection of pavers to meet my desired design. They were prompt and professional. Would use them again and would definitely refer them to friends and family.

There were some problems but they came back and took care of them and everything was fine. We just moved into a new house about 6 months ago so they came out probably in the fall. The approximate cost was about $1200 for the job.

Randy was very professional and passionate about his work. Always returned phone call and has and excellent crew working for him. He has a very high rating here and his work proves it. Thank you Randy

Randy quickly responded to my first call and gave us a proposal. I talked it over with my better half and we decided to move forward with the job. I called Randy again and he promptly returned my call saying that he would need to order the certain pavers that we wanted and that they would be in about they 28th of the month. Since that was around Thanksgiving I did not contact Randy until the first week of December via email. He responded the next morning saying that he apologized but he had gotten sick and gave me a time of the next week that he would start the job. That date came and went and a week after I emailed again to see if they really wanted the job. He apologized again and gave me another start date. They did show on that date and did an excellent job. The only reason I am giving less than A's is due to the lack of communication and in Randy's defense he was very sick but I'm sure someone on his crew knows how to use a phone.
