Description of Work: Ray pressure washed, re-sanded, and resealed the pavers around our pool and in our screened-in patio. He also fixed a few elusively wobbly pavers that had been driving us crazy for a couple of years! The price was high, but reasonable considering we have a very large area, and my husband just wasn't going to do it himself! It should last for the next 4 - 5 years, which is wonderful.

Description of Work: Randy worked closely with us throughout the project. The job was a response to two failed wood retaining walls and a damaged bulkhead. The walls were holding the soil on a slope leading up to an in-ground pool. He removed the old timbered walls and replaced them with decorative concrete block.He also replaced an old set of wooden stairs that ran down the slope adjacent to the pool. Randy was very creative with the flow of paverstones use on the lower tier of the slope, up the new stairs to a newly created large patio area. With the use of well positioned led landscape lights we have an attractive new sitting area. In addition, Randy's crew re-mulched all flower bed areas and planted Blue Pacific Junipers,Purslane, and Iris' in the retaining wall tiers. |I have asked Randy to come back and give us an estimate for reolacid a landscape timber framed flower bed with a low stone wall.

Description of Work: They removed and installed approx. 1600 sq. ft. of sod. The original estimate was for about $1200.00 based on four pallets. He then told me that his estimate was wrong and I needed one more pallet. About ten days later I called him about 40 pieces that were dying .He told me that he could not recall saying that. Needless to say I was very dissappointed in his denial. I asked him when he could come back and he said that he was very busy but maybe he could work me in later that day (Wednesday) or Friday. I waited through Wednesday and most of the day Friday. Then I decided thatI I would have to do the work myself. I went to Classic Turf company(where the sod was purchased) and they gave me forty pieces after they heard my story. I got a call later that day from Randy saying that he understood that I had gone to Classic Turf and he would have been glad to help me install the new sod.

 + 2 moreRandy first prepped the path areas by grading the soil and adding a base of (sand/rock). He hand selected the flagstone pieces and hand cut them to different sizes. He laid out the stones with an eye to blending the colors of the natural stone. The paths were leveled and mortared into place. After completing the construction of the back beds, he assisted us in choosing the appropriate plants for the light and soil conditions of our yard. Once the palm tree was delivered, he built a stone surround for it. Finally, he removed all the old sod and laid new sod throughout the backyard. The completed job was fantastic and is admired and commented upon to this day.
Description of Work: In fall of 2003, Randy constructed a winding 3-1/2 foot wide flagstone path throughout yard; construction of raised beds along back of yard (stone with cap stones; back filled with soil); removed old sod and re-sod entire back yard; stone wall around palm tree in back.
