The weatherstripping had shrunk and needed to be replaced. We had used this company before so I called on 07-09-10 to ask about having it done. The receptionist was very courteous, explained the work and cost, and set up an appointment for 07-13-10. The serviceman called in advance and arrived promptly. The work was done in a professional manner and the cost estimate was on target.

We have an unusually large and heavy door. The springs were not standard and it took extra effort to replace and fix a broken bracket as well as make adjustments to the tension. Jim M was our Service rep and couldn't have been more professional and would not give up on the repair even though it was not a standard repair job.

Frank was wonderful on the phone, and Brad, the installer, was great---friendly and competent. The company was responsive and the door went up well and seems to operate well. Brad was also very thorough in explaining its operation. The minor issue is that the emergency key plate on the outside of the door is crooked. It's permanently in the door, and I don't see how it could possibly be fixed, and that was done before I ever saw the completed job. Yes, it's small, and you cannot notice it from the street, but it's one of those little things that every time I see it will bother me a little. Little details matter.

It was good, I didn't have any problem with them at all. When they got done, it didn't work, because the people that installed it didn't bring out a cuplar, like they were suposed to. They sent someone else out that same day who installed this and got it working.

Installer showed up at the scheduled time, removed the old garage door, installed the new one with an opener and went over the details of it's operation.

The service person got right to work. Appeared to be quite knowledgeable. The work was completed and he was on his way.

Called on 09-09-08 for estimate and spoke with Joyce. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. I called 2 other companies on Angie's List and chose this company because they were $70-100 cheaper for the same services. Since my garage door is from the Overhead Door Company, I felt more confident that they would have the correct parts available. When I set up the appointment for 09-12-08, I was told they would come around 8:00 AM and would call first. Sal called at about 7:20 AM and said he would be here between 8-8:30. He arrived at 8:20.

The initial installation wasn't done correctly, the mounting brackets weren't attached to the roof rafters. The company representative indicated this would be the case. When the error was brought to their attention, they immediately sent another crew to re-install the awning. The crew provided instructions on proper operation of the awning prior to leaving the work site.

New door had to be special ordered since there was not one the color I needed in their warehouse. The salesman was nice enough to send out a color sample of the color door I needed. It came in about a week an appointment date was set to install it and that date was kept. The only change was that I did not like the location of wire to the door/light switch and I requested it be moved to a more appropriate location. That will be done Tuesday Jan 9th. Otherwise, overall it has been a good experience with this company.

I backed my husband's golf cart into the garage door and called for a quote to replacement door. Frank Keeling came out the next day. Unfortunately, his firm doesn't carry the brand we needed to replace; however, Frank gave me the names of two other companies that could help me. He even took the measurements so that I could call those firms for a quote! I would definitely recommend Overhead Door Company of Jacksonville.

Overhead Garage Door Service arrived right on time and started immediately. The guys were friendly and informative. They installed the opener quickly and didn't run into any problems. I'm very satisfied with them.

Overhead Door did a good job. The installer did get lost on the way to the job, so he ran a bit late, but that was no big deal. Once he was there, he was in and out in under an hour and it looks great.
