Overhead Door of Jacksonville

We purchased the Carriage House door. We waited 6 months for this door. It is way overpriced by 85% in our opinion. A bit disappointed, the hinges and door handles are not real, just plastic magnets. The glass frames are even a cheaper plastic. For a custom door priced at over 6k why 50cent plastic displays for handles and hinges on outside? The children and others can simply pull them off and the dog can chew them.

Service rep arrived within the announced time and conducted the service with appropriate social distancing and mask wearing. Repairs were completed efficiently and areas where homeowner could lubricate were pointed out

Very well - the fix was simple by using the right lube and the technician gave me a discount on the price due to the easy fix. Technician was direct and communicative. They are “go-to” for me.

Super professional, the service tech arrived on time and replaced a broken spring on my garage door. I had second replaced as precaution. I will always choose overhead door and highly recommend them.

First day did not have the correct part to do the job. Schedule for the next day; office called in the AM indicating service between 3-5PM; I called back, in the AM, to "confirmed" that someone would be home from "noon on!!!!" No one showed up on the 2nd day!!! Called on the 3rd day, spoke with a lady, rude & short, she indicated that when the tech's called to let me know they were on their way, the call was not answered. I indicated they did not leave a message, and when I don't recognize the # I allow it to go to VM. They left no message!! Paid this outfit $93.00 the first day for about 20 minutes of service, with the understanding that when they returned the next day, there would be no additional service charge, pay only for the part. Since I had paid for a service charge, I shouldn't have, you would thing these tech's would have had the "professional courtesy" to show up, since "their" time had already been paid for!! Absolute P_ _ _ Poor communications, follow-up & professionalism!!

Terrific! The technician showed up door scheduled window. He was quick and efficient and very informative. He was very professional!

He came equipped with the section of tracking that was needed. I thought it would need to be ordered for a long wait. He was on time and unfortunately that is a rarity today so just with that my concerns were eased. Said he would have my garage door up and running and he did in about 45 minutes The tuneup he did made it less noisy and more responsive.

They were punctual, professional and did a great job. We have used them multiple times and have never had any problems with them. Would use them again.

The torsion spring broke and I could not open my garage door at all. Called and they scheduled an appointment for the next morning. Bill was the tech and arrived right on time. He was very professional and provided me some great information. He replaced both torsion springs and serviced the garage door very quickly. Price was right where it should be and no up-selling attempts were made. I got exactly what I needed at a great price. Would definitely recommend them.

We called late on Monday evening to get an appointment to have our garage door repaired. It would not close completely unless we held down the button. We were told that a technician would call at 8:00 on Tuesday morning. Bill called at 7:50 and said he would be here between 8:30 and 9:30. He was here at exactly 8:30 and promptly assessed the situation and completed the work very quickly. Bill was very professional and courteous and we would highly recommend him and Overhead Door to anyone that needs garage door repair. Prices are very reasonable and their staff is great.

He did a real good job. I have no complaints. He did a good job, was nice and explained everything that he was doing.

I called the company on 10/15/14. Based on the advice I received from Genie customer service I asked the secretary how much it would cost to replace the two torsion springs on our garage door. She quoted me a price of approximately $215. I made an appointment for the work to be completed on the following day. As promised, the installer (Jim) called me at 0800 on 10/16/14. He gave me a two-hour window and arrived at our home during the scheduled time period. Before replacing the two torsion springs Jim inspected and attempted to operate our garage door unit in order to verify the specific problem. He quickly determined that it just needed a new carriage for the garage door to work properly. It would also save us $215. I decided to have Jim replace the original 16-year old rusty torsion springs as well as the carriage. He completed the job in about an hour while I watched him work. We chatted the entire time. Jim showed me the broken teeth on the old carriage after he removed it from the screw drive. He lubricated all of the rollers and the torsion springs before he left. With 21-years of experience in the business, Jim was very professional. I am a completely satisfied customer and will not hesitate to use his services again in the future.

Came to residence to discuss job/ desired choices, and subsequent appointment was established to complete work. New door was hung as requested. Adjustment was needed in regards to a handle; noting this was Friday PM, they offered to return the following business day and make changes. All completed as promised. We have used this company for many years and they have always provided good service.

I liked that the person who answered the phone was very prompt and very nice. They came right away and we really like them. They did what I expected. My door was making a noise like a cheap door. When I called them they said that it is a normal sound.

Early next day service (my call was later in the day). There was a small communication problem when they called to confirm the appointment. Office did not communicate confirmation with tech which was frustrating. When tech got to my house he was quick with diagnosing and repairing the problem. No complaints.

I was a little nervous to replace the door at first but they installed a new steel door and it works great-- goes up and down very smoothly and doesn't make noise. I have used them for 20 years and always get very good service

Same day quote , Install with in 24 hours of making a decision. The install went well and was complete within 2 hours max.

At first I thought the price was extremely low for such the service. I had misheard. LOL Anyway we settled up the bill and will use them again.

They ordered the wrong garage door in the wrong size. Had to wait 3 weeks for the right door. Installation went well. Door works fine.

The service man arrived on time, accessed the trouble and gave us our options. He was very pleasant and professional. He replaced the unit and also fixed various problems on our old garage door (some screws missing). It took about an hour and now the operation is much quieter and works flawlessly. Great job! I recommend these guys.

They did a good job, we have had to call them to re-service it. They were very friendly and punctual. They were highly recommended by a family member, and they were happy as well.

Removed old spring and opener and installed new opener and mounting hardware. Did an excellent job and thorough clean-up upon completion.
