The guys were a bit late but once on the job were an amazing team. Polite and well-spoken, I would recommend them highly.

Installer arrived on time, worked hard to get the new door installed, and cleaned up after himself. He provided and explained all of the paperwork and permits and the details of the new door. We would definitely recommend Overhead Door, and would use them again if the need arises.

I heard a very loud and sudden BOOM from one of my upstairs rooms and a quick inspection of the house revealed a broken garage door spring. I haven't had to deal with that problem in many years so I turned to Angie's List and quickly found Overhead Doors. A quick phone call to them and within 4 hours a technician was at my house and he quickly and professionally replaced both springs (might as well do both at once since the other one was bound to fail soon). He also gave me some maintenance tips to help prolong the life of the door and the new springs. A simple enough job and service, but I was pleased to use Angie's List and find the right company for the job with minimal effort on my part.

not much to tell. i needed the garage door opener that worked. they replaced the unit. it had to be replaced rather than repaired because it was over 15 years old and the company that made it is out of business.

Jim also suggested mainanence tips and commented that if the opener motor ever needed to be replaced that I get a more powerful 1/2 horesepower version as a replacement, rather than the builder's special 1/3 horsepower that I currently have, to increase operational duration. He was completly done with the spring installation, door testing and informative suggestions by 10:45 AM. I would definitely use this company and especially the technican, Jim, again.

This company installed the door originally in 1996. I just purchased the home. The repairman did not try to upsell me at all. He stated that the opener had been discontinued but parts are still available. He showed me the critical parts of the door mechanisms to lubricate. He could have sold me a new bottom door panel but said he could fix the old one sufficiently to save me money.

The service person was very prompt and professional. We would use this company again for garage door service needs.

They made sure the job was complete , they offered option of repair, but net result for me was it was better to replace entire opener.

They were very responsive. Jim came out and was very knowledgeable and efficient. I felt he went above and beyond what he was required to do. He also mentioned areas to look out for in the future to prevent further issues. They also honored a coupon I had for them.

This company was excellent. Frank (residential supervisor) gave us a great quote and said he could have the work completed in less than a week. He also was able to use garage springs that had previously been purchased, saving us money and time. The technician arrived on time, was prompt, and communicated any challenges he had. After he had finished making the door completely operational, he walked me through the use of the remotes, how to engage/disengage the door, and the warranty information. Overhead Door was excellent in all aspects and I highly recommend them to anyone. Make sure to ask for Frank!

I contacted Overhaed Door Co. based on the excellent reviews posted on Angie's List. The receptionist took down my information and said a visit the following day was possible and that I would receive a call the following morning to nail down a visit time. Kenny called early the following day as psomised and showed up on time. He worked diligently with very little talking or other distractions. I gave the price rating a "B" only due to finding the total charge a little higher than anticipated BUT I would definitely call him again. I didn't ask for an itemized estimate at first(which may have reduced the surprise factor) but after watching his expertise and expedient work ethic, I was happy to pay the full charge. Door has continued to run well ever since. .

We had issues with the garage doors not going up when buttons pushed. We purchased new remotes (old ones 15 years old). Still had problems with one door. They came out, reprogrammed the remotes for us. They both now work. While here, one door was pulling at an angle. He adjusted the pulley wheels, so it now pulls straight. Work was timely, efficient, and professional. Every time we have called them, for a question or service, they have been friendly, helpful. They either give us the answer over the phone or schedule to come out within 48 hours. Will only use them.

Went well, Came on time, replaced coil quickly, no issues.

Chris was on time for the appointment. We discussed that the door and parts were the original to the house (15 years old). One spring had been replaced but was the wrong size, causing the door to be off balance. He replaced both springs, the cables, drums, end bearings, pulleys and rollers. He was very efficient and professional. The door works much better now. I would definitely use them again.

When I first called to have a broken spring replaced they explained that I would have to wait till the next day because they were already fully scheduled. I told them it would not be a problem. Later, that same day, They called to say they had person available and if I was home they would fix it "now". The service tech arrived, went right to work, and replaced both springs in less than 30 min. When you know what you're doing, it looks easy!

It went fine. We called, he came fast, he did the job right at a reasonable price.

The company was very responsive when I called and set up the service call right away. I thought $93 for the amount of time and work needed was a little steep. The tech was very professional.

Called at 8:15am and was told someone was available that same day. I was informed someone could be there between 1-3pm that day. Service rep (Sal Marrero) called around 130pm and stated he would be there within next 10 minutes (he was). I explained problem was that the door (two car/16') was VERY heavy to lift and I thought it might be out of balanced. Sal explained everything he found wrong or questionable about door and hardware. I was informed that someone previously had install two different types of overhead springs on door. It was not something they would normally do and that I should monitor the springs. Sal adjusted tension on overhead springs and performed a basic tune-up of my door. I had also installed a new garage door opener system the night before. Sal showed me a couple of things I had done incorrectly and better yet he fixed all of them at NO CHARGE!!. He also look at a second garage door to my workshop and found it slightly out of balance and two turns of the spring later it was perfect. I would call this company again ANY time I have problems with my garage door. I would and will refer this company to my friends as the type of company they or anyone would enjoy doing business with!!

Of course the spring broke on a Friday after 5pm and after the cars were both in the garage. Called Overhead first thing Monday morning and they were out that afternoon. In and out in a half hour. Replaced spring, fixed cable, tightened opener chain and checked things over. First rate service and well under what I thought I was going to end up paying. I highly recommend these guys and wish every business provided the service these guys do.

I wish all businesses were as businesslike as Overhead Door. They were on time, polite, quiet and they cleaned up afterward. They ended the screech sound, made the door sound like new, and installed a reliable wall keypad (and gave me two remote controls). The system now operates flawlessly. A competing overhead-door representative stated that a new door was needed, ranging from $1,400 to $1,800.
