The technician arrived promptly and went right to work. The job was completed in less time than I had imaginged it would take. Very friendly and proffessional.

With my home being close to 40 years old I recently had to replace my entire septic system due to my tank collapsing and drain field failure. The job was well represented by all of the Metro-Rooter staff I interacted with, from the identification of my septic problems through the quality installation by their service crew and final follow-up by their sales manager. Upon recognizing I had a problem I reached out to Metro-Rooter based on a referral from a common friend. Within an hour of taking my call they had a representative (Mr. Dan Coates) at my house evaluating the extent of our sewage problems. Unfortunately, due to the age and condition of my system I was faced with the reality of replacing my entire septic system. My concerns mounted, as I have neighbors that also recently faced a similar predicament and their experiences were not managed smoothly with the vendors they chose for their service. My neighbors encountered significant challenges with permitting, inspections, and even citations issued by St. Johns County. I was prepared for a lengthy and stressful struggle, compounded with the concerns that my system that was on the verge of failure. After presenting me with several options Mr. Coates recommended a course of action and initiated the permitting process with Saint Johns County. He managed ALL of the permitting - removing me from the stress of interacting with the county paperwork and inspectors. My satisfaction was not exclusive to the efforts of Mr. Coates. The crew that arrived on the scene to perform the evacuation of my current system worked extremely hard, respecting the very narrow boundary between my yard and my neighbor’s. Due to the proximity of my neighbor’s decorative landscaping it was not possible utilize heavy equipment to make the job easier. The Metro-Rooter crew (Hank, Trent, and Buddy) worked meticulously to perform much of the work by hand. They worked diligently for an entire day – well into the evening after sunset, to make sure our home sewage was functional. I was VERY impressed with their dedication to quality and my satisfaction. Our job extended several days as we were at the mercy of the county health inspection schedules. Each day Hank and Trent continued with their hard work and paid particular attention to detail. They proved to be extremely professional throughout the entire process and were a pleasure to work with. We did not encounter any issue with the county through certification or the multiple inspection processes. I was so pleased with the work I received that I also wrote a letter of satisfaction to Tom McLaughlin, the owner of Metro-Rooter.

The serviceman arrived just when he said he would, he was dressed nicely and had the job finished in no time as there was no mess and no fuss. I would recommend Metro Rooter as honest, reliable and extremely fair in his pricing compared to others.

Metro-Rooter was very prompt, professional, and courteous. They were very diligent about their job. They could have done a better job with cleaning up after they completed the job, but they still did great. I would definitely recommend their services to others.

Metro Rooter is just as good as anyone else. There on the same line of all the other plumbers, nothing special. I would probably go with someone cheaper next time.

I hired Metro-Rooter for one reason: They could get here the quickest. We had an emergency situation and needed someone fast. Not only was the service prompt and excellent, but they gave us a great price. They did not take advantage of us.
