I have a large portable generator that is large enough to carry much of my home's circuits. I wanted to set this generator up so I could "connect" it to my house during an outage. In order to connect, I had to purchase a transfer switch, which I did. Infinity came out to look at the generator, the transfer switch that I had purchased on my own, and my home's electrical panel box. After inspecting those things, Paul then gave me a price. We agreed on an installation date and the crew arrived 15 minutes early. They were all professional, friendly and respectful of me and my home. They answered any questions I had and kept me informed when they were doing different things as they were in the garage and I was in the house. Paul came as they were almost finished and inspected all the work, etc. Upon completion they gave it a test run and then provided me with step-by-step instructions of how to implement once there was an outage and I needed to transfer power to the generator. They cleaned up all their mess and put everything back they had moved. I'm now ready to go if, for any reason, there is a power outage. I can run many electrical comforts until service is restored and I know everything is installed safely and to State Code. They will be the ones I call if I have another electrical need. They will also be the company I recommend to anyone needing electrical service.

I needed to replace two flickering switches and Install (and assemble) two ceiling fans in rooms, that did not have central lights. I found Infinity Electrical on Angie's List and called the company. Scheduling the job was so easy. Paul Stewart, Infinity owner, answered the phone and scheduled the work in a few days time (on a Saturday). Paul and his team mate showed up on time and got right to work. This was not a standard installation, in that they had to cut holes in the Kitchen & Parlor ceilings and pull new wire. Throughout the process, Infinity was courteous, efficient and professional. The quality of their workmanship was excellent and they cleaned up all the areas they had worked in. As an added Bonus, Paul went out of his way to be nice to my dog. You can't beat that! On the way out, I asked Paul if the bathroom fan needed replacing (he said 'no'; how many other contractors would have just taken the additional work?) and also asked him about the flickering garage lights. He pointed out that it may be the bulbs, the ballasts or I may just want to replace the entire fixture (hadn't thought of that idea). Overall it was a pleasant experience. Very professional and responsive throughout the work. I'll definitely use Infinity again & will highly recommend.

Paul arrived within the scheduled window and inspected the wiring for the kitchen overhead light first. After a lightning strike the previous year, the fixture had started turning off by itself after a short period. Turns out it was the ballast built into the light tube, not the wiring. Then he installed a new fixture that we had standing by. He discovered the problem and installed the new light all in under an hour, and charged less for the whole job less than most companies would ask for just a service call. Excellent work, very reasonable cost, no surprises.

I recently bought a new house and the brand new water heater was tripping the reset button. The plumber that installed he water heater came out to fix the problem only to say "it must be electrical" I called infinity and Paul was worried I would be wasting money because he didn't think it was electrical. I had him come out anyway because that was the only way the plumbers would come back. Paul looked over the water heater and couldn't find a problem however did replace some breakers in my box. After Paul left he called me to say he spoke with one of his plumber friends and thought that both elements were coming on and that's why one of his electrical reading was high. I called the plumber with that information and my water heater was fixed the next day. Thanks Paul! you fixed my ongoing headache. Well worth the $100!!

I needed repair work done for the sale of my home on short notice. Paul was able to provide a reasonable estimate, a date within my time constraints, and work with my schedule. He arrived on time after confirming the appointment, was professional, friendly, prepared and proceeded to start the work right away. He finished in less than the expected amount of time I'd planned for, saving on the cost of the total project. Any out of pocket expense saved on the sale of a home is always appreciated. I had a lot of electrical work that needed to be done at our office and found this company on Angie's list. The owner (Paul) was very nice and easy to work with. They did a wonderful job and I will definitely use them again. The price was very reasonable given the amount of work we had to have done. They had to crawl up into our attic and go under the building which is not easy. I highly recommend them.

After calling at least 5 electricians who could not make it out same day, I was so grateful to reach Paul at Infinity. He promptly answered and said he could come out within a couple of hours. He arrived when promised, made necessary repair, and was very professional and nice. After realizing we had not only a breaker issue but also an A/C issue he event went as far as to check out the A/C to see if it was something he might be able to fix. Unfortunately it wasn't so I had to call A/C company but I appreciated his extra efforts. I would definitely use Infinity again based on this experience.Re

We had a National Water Damage Company work on our home after a pipe bursts, a whole different review, and they used an unlicensed Electrician. We had trouble with the outlets and also a sizzlin' sound before the AC kicked on. I found Paul, with Infinity Electrical Company in Angie's List. As a new member, this is the first time I had used a company from here based on reviews. Paul was everything I expected! He came into the home and knew exactly what to look for and right away he found the problem. There were some loose wires and a broken piece inside of an electrical box. He could have told me it was a more serious problem, however, I found him to be honest, sincere and confident in his work. I do recommend him and will be using him again! It is refreshing to have someone come out that doesn't gouge you with the price and is actually knows what he's doing! im not sure about the price because he's coming back to do more work, once we get other stuff done first. Like I said, he is an honest person and I feel comfortable having him work in our home. My husband built our home years ago, so we are particular!

I recently purchased a home built in 1926. The electrical panel was already new due to the previous owner doing a major kitchen upgrade. However, the kitchen was the only place where you could find a grounded plug. I wanted to protect my electronics. Also really needed ceiling fans in two rooms in order to save on cooling costs. There was a slight miscommunication in the beginning regarding one particular plug installation (needed to happen before the delivery of a large piece of furniture). I was sort of upset about their timing but Paul worked with me and was able to get a couple of his guys out to handle that one bit. They were in/out in 30 min! During the other main work day the guys powered through all the updates I had asked. Just the night before I had discovered that the Laundry room had no light whatsoever! Despite it being an unanticipated add to the work, they were great at coming up with a unique and simple solution. Once done, all their mess was completely cleaned up. Always polite and either answered his phone or replied within a reasonable amount of time.

I needed to replace old builder's grade bathroom fans (useless) with better fans. Plus, I wanted one of the fans to also have a light. I also wanted 4 new can lights installed in my living room (very dark). Called 4 different electrical contractors in the Jacksonville area. Two never bothered to call me back, and one gave me a quote for almost twice as much as what Infinity Electrical was proposing. Might have had something to do with what I consider absolute common sense and professional courtesy that Paul Stewart, Infinity contractor showed me. Paul immediately understood what I wanted and proposed minor tweaks to my requests. First, he said to shop for and buy my own fans. He told me flat out that he would do exactly what I would do... walk into the local big box mart store and buy fans off the shelf. Well, I did what he suggested; got smart on bathroom fans and found three fans at Lowe's I really liked (one with a light). Then I went to Amazon and got all three fans for 50% of what I would have paid at Lowe's! At first I wanted 4 new cans in the living room to brighten it up and to add a three way light switch. Paul smartly suggest LED cans and to wire it into the existing 3 way switch for the light to prevent additional labor costs. He pointed out that I wasn't using those three way switches anyway, so why not use the existing wiring in the house? He also suggested using a dimmer switch and making the can lights LED. Brilliant. Why didn't I think of that? After my fans arrived, we scheduled a time and he got right to work. Quickly and efficiently removed the old worthless fans and installed the new state of the art fans that I had purchased. Would have taken me forever to read the instructions and figure out the tricks of installing the fans. He did it in no time. Next, he quickly cut 4 new holes in the drywall of my living room ceiling, ran wire for jumpers and had the LED lights up in no time. The hard part came when the dimmer switch he was installing failed and he had to run to Lowe's real quick to get a new one. Returned, fixed, and now I am very happy! Do your research, but in the end, you are going to hire Paul at Infinity Electrical to do your next electric project. Great company, great guy.

Excellent, careful and conscientious.

We are so thrilled with the work performed by Infinity Electrical. Scheduling was very easy and they fit us in within a week. The two man crew was on time, and spent most of their day with us! We had 2 old ceiling fans replaced, a new fan installed in our bar room with a new switch, a few outdoor flood lights repaired, and also a new TV wired and mounted above our fireplace. The electricians were so nice, made helpful suggestions and answered all my questions. When they completed their 5 hour day with us, they cleaned up all of the areas that they had worked in, and took all the trash out for me, which was a nice added touch. I would definitely hire Infinity Electrical again and highly recommend them.

THE ELECTRICIAN GAVE ME ALL MY OPTIONS AND ADVISED ME OF WHAT I COULD DO IF I WANTED THE LIGHT IN MY SHOWER. HE ADVISED ME HE COULD INSTALL IT EVEN THOUGH HE COULD NOT GO THROUGH MY ATTIC BUT IT WOULD REQUIRE A SMALL HOLE IN MY WALL HIGH UP. HE GAVE ME THE OPTION OF TWO SWITCHES OR PUTTING BOTH LIGHTS ON ONE SWITCH. I TOLD HIM TO GO AHEAD WITH THE PROJECT AND HE KEPT THE HOLE TO A BARE MINIMUM AND IT WAS VERY NEAT. AFTER THE INSTALLATION THEY CLEANED UP EVERY BIT OF THEIR MESS. ALL THAT WAS LEFT WAS SOME DUST PARTICLES. I AM EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THEIR RESPECT OF MY HOME AND WHAT I NEEDED. I WILL DEFINITELY CALL THEM AGAIN!

,Awesome. Highly recommend him. I live in a townhouse and the meter box for the five home owner had come loose from the side of the building due to wood rot. The siding needed to be replaced before the box could be reattached. The siding was on another homeowner's unit. I hired him, the homeowner with the box on their siding wanted more work done on the siding than the rest of the homeowners wanted to pay for. He checked with me to confirm what we wanted. He worked it all out, got all of us what we wanted done and happy. He got us a contractor, Will, to do the siding work and jumped in and help him do the siding work too. Paul was easy to work with, very lay back and professional.

It's fixed!

The provider called me within 1 hour of selecting them on Angie's List, and we booked an appointment for 8 a.m the following morning. The two-man crew showed up on time and went to work immediately diagnosing the problem. The job was done within 20 minutes. Very pleased with the responsiveness and outcome of their work.

Paul was quick to respond to my call and he completed the job quickly. He also took the time to text us to let us know that the property had passed the city's inspection.

The Infinity Electric team called to say they were on the way and arrived on time. The team introduced themselves to my wife and me, asked to look at the areas we needed the work done, and then explained in detail what they would be doing. They were fast, efficient, professional, and informative. This company impressed me with their concern about our homes safety and ensuring that we were pleased with the work before they presented their invoice. I would recommend Infinity Electric to not only my family members and neighbors, but to Angie's List subscribers without reservation. They have become my only electrical company.

I called Friday afternoon around 2 and asked if they come that night; the other electrician I had scheduled baled on me. They showed up at 4, earlier than expected. We live in an old house so the electrical system is a little wacky. They quickly figured out the issue, installed the new fixture, and fixed the pot lights. They cleaned up and total time of them being here was about 35 minutes.

I'd say it went pretty good. I was able to observe the whole time - I hope unobtrusively. Did have to have them come back out because of a miscommunication, but Paul came back out on a Saturday at 8 am when I didn't call until after dark on a Friday. I'm going to have them come back and replace my panel.

I called Infinity because my homeowners insurance company required me to repair certain electrical issues in a home I had recently bought. The issues were identified by a home inspector, not infinity. They were all somewhat vague, with a number of potential solutions that varied in cost. More than simply work done, I needed someone competent and honest to evaluate the situation and recommend the best option. I found that in Infinity Electrical. The company's owner, Paul, came out to my house to do the estimate and looked over the inspection report with me. He correctly identified a mistake that the inspector made (the inspector thought the air conditioner condenser was hooked up to a breaker that actually corresponded to the air handler) saving me the cost of an unnecessary fix. He also had the opportunity to recommend an upgrade in service from 100 amps to 200 amps and determined I didn't need to do this. I had previously obtained a quote for such an upgrade for $3,000 from another electrical contractor. He was on time, professional, and courteous at all times. He came out to do an estimate within 24 hours of my first calling him and offered to schedule the repair for the next day (I pushed it a day further out because that was more convenient for me). He was also nice to my pet. Couldn't beat the experience, really. I would recommend Infinity Electric to anyone and will definitely return to them again if I have any need.

Had a malfunctioning outlet. They rewired and it's now working properly.
