Impact Enclosures

Unfortunately, we the owners, delayed and changed the pool enclosure multiple times. But every step of the way Ryan the owner of the company took immediate care of our needs. He is one of maybe three contractors I've used over the years who calls back and shows concern about the quality and responsiveness of his crew and product. Gerard and the gentleman who worked with him were outstanding. They worked all day, in spite of on and off rain during the whole project. They worked quickly, efficiently, and made time to answer any of the concerns we had during the install. I honestly have never been more impressed by both owner and employees of a company. HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND IMPACT ENCLOSURES!!!!

The work was completed mostly by Clyde. He was definitely an expert at his job. He was polite, constant, diligent and proficient He cleaned up after himself and when he finally left. He was here every day until the job was finished - completing the job in a timely manner.. A quality control employee of Impact Enclosures came to look at the job. He was very pleased. Mr. Hammers and other employees of this company were also customer friendly. I am extremely please with the workmanship and the look of the new porch.

From beginning to end, the job was very professional. Justin came out and helped us decide on the look and the plan for the pergola, and gave us an estimate for the work. Al was the installer and he did a wonderful job. All the lumber was preprinted at their shop and then Al repainted it before building the pergola. The structure is very well built and because Al is very meticulous, the finished job has exceeded our expectations. Al always let us know when he would arrive and cleaned up the work site before he left in the evening.

Ron was my salesperson and was the only one who during the estimate, checked every section of screen, all the metal, and the fasteners. He was very thorough and then promptly gave me an estimate for both a basic repair or a full re-screen. He was able to work with me on the price a bit, so we went with the complete re-screen. The crew was Dan and Clyde and they worked extremely hard to get the job done on time, even working thought the rain, though there were some other weather delays. I am pleased with the quality of the work, and the time it took to complete the job.

Ryan and his team were very professional from the initial call for an estimate and all the way through construction. They recommended options that other companies didn't offer including superscreen and impact drains. Al was our installer and he was meticulous with his construction, paying attention to every detail. He communicated with us daily offering suggestions to improve the functionality of the room including the placement of the doggie door and the two regular doors he installed. Ryan also recommended a paver installation company and they did an excellent job with the footer and paver installation. He is very particular in his referrals and his recommendation could not have been better. Ryan and his team know what they are doing and I advise getting an estimate from Impact before signing another companies contract. We could not be happier with the job. Thanks Impact!

Initially we were unsure about what we wanted and how much of the roof we wanted in screen and how much in a solid cover Lexan roof. Justin, from Impact Enclosures, worked with us in our decision making and kept us abreast of cost changes as our screened enclosure evolved. We observed high standards in all work thru the various phases of the construction, from digging the footing trenches to installing the ceiling fan. The site was always picked up and organized at the end of the day. Any questions about materials, assembly and scheduling were answered on a timely basis. The original bid was very competitive and additional costs due to our additions and changes were very reasonable. We are very pleased with the finished project and are now enjoying our new screened enclosure, especially when it rains.

We had George come over to take a look at our screened-in lanai and give us an estimate on repairing the screens with holes and repairing broken screws. He took the time to go over the options for screening everything back in and replacing all of the screws with screws that wouldn't rust. We also explained to him that we needed everything done by the end of the week (we told him on Monday). Matt was out within a few days and got right to work taking down our old screens, replacing all of the screws, installing a drain, wiping everything down, and replacing all of the screens. Matt did a great job, the work was done very well, and he cleaned everything up. We were very pleased with the work. Everything was done on-time, as promised.

Found the recommendations for this company on Angie's list and happy that I did. In my opinion this is an outstanding business - probably one of the best I have dealt with in recent years. Their charges are reasonable and fair - they stuck to their original estimate even though they had to spend considerable time getting the new door to fit the old space. The technicians were very skilled young men who paid plenty of attention to detail and left my new door looking great and fitting like a glove. They really worked h****** this project. Thank you to the technicians who cared enough to do a really good job for me and thank you Impact Enclosures - I will use you again if I get the opportunity. Recommend highly

We couldn't be happier with the work of Impact Enclosures, their entire team is professional and customer service is their highest priority. Justin came out, did the estimate, and explained the process to us. From there we got our HOA to approve, and then Justin submitted the building permit to St Johns County. Eric and team came out to do the install; since we didn't need to be home, he texted my wife pictures during the installation, and made sure the screen door was placed exactly where she wanted it. We really love the super screen product that they used on our covered patio, it keeps the bugs out and is strong enough that cross braces are not needed. For anyone out there that needs a screen enclosure installed, we highly recommend Impact Enclosures for do the job!

We used this company to re-screen our pool enclosure and they did an outstanding job. When we mentioned adding on a concrete patio, they said they could easily do that job as well. What was originally advised to us as a 3 day job, turned into several weeks of nothing but issues. Day 1 (Wednesday)- They dug the area to prep it for the concrete but rather than properly discarding the grass/dirt they removed, they tossed it into one area of my yard, leaving me to discard it. Next they laid the footers in prep for the termite company to spray on Day 2. Day 3 (Friday)– This is the day they were supposed to pour the concrete. We stayed home from work as they were supposed to cap 3 sprinkler heads prior to pouring. At 10AM, my husband called the project manager asking when they would be out. An hour later, the concrete guy called my husband, only after being called by the project manager, stating they had an issue with the concrete pump and would be out later in the day or on Monday. Around noon, I called the project manager inquiring as to a status. Come to find out, he was completely oblivious to the fact his concrete person was having issues. Then he went into the details regarding the issues he’s been having with the concrete person. I was told that I would have a concrete patio on Day 3, needless to say that didn’t happen. On Day 4 (Monday), the concrete was finally poured. On Day 5, the footers were finally removed. On Day 6, we came home from work to find 2 large streaks down the patio almost as if it had cracked and they tried to patch it. On Day 8 (Friday), the project manager came out to see it for himself. Apparently, the concrete guy thought there was something wrong with it so he laid more concrete over the patio. To make an even longer story, short, they hired and paid a 3rd party to put an acrylic finish over the patio to cover up their mistake. Once we finally got their final bill, we received a call the next day requesting payment for a past due invoice. When calling to pay the invoice that was received the day before, I was told they had changed office managers and were not sure of who had been billed for what hence the call for the past due invoice. I would strongly recommend against using this company for anything other than screen repairs.

Work was done with quality, looks great and has added value to their home. All work was completed in the timeframe promised (1 day) on the day scheduled. They are very happy.

It went very well,we had a problem that arose in the beginning that was not his company's fault and his worker Paul quickly handle it.Everything else went GREAT and when the inspector from the county even remarked what a nice job had been done.

On the day scheduled for installation at 8:00am a delivery truck arrived and unloaded all the materials needed beside the lanai. A few minutes later the installer called to make sure the materials arrived. He introduced himself over the phone and said he would be there shortly. A short time later he arrived and we reviewed the planned work and specifications. All was like we had planned. He unloaded his tools and equipment for the work and set up his work area. Then he did dimension checks before starting any work. After satisfying himself that all was without problems he started layout work. From then on he worked steadily until he completed the installation. If he had any questions as to our preferences, he got our opinion before continuing. When he was done with the screened enclosure he had us inspect the finished product. All during the installation he kept the area clean and organized and at the end you couldn't tell he had been there. We are very pleased with the looks and with the way the work was organized and performed. If we, or any friends or neighbors have any similar needs we will recommend Impact Enclosures.

Al Blood from Impact Enclosures installed a screened in porch on our new home. Al's work is outstanding with great attention to detail. The door, screen, and supports are very high quality. We are very impressed with Impact Enclosures and Al's work.

Called the office looking for someone to come out within the next week, was surprised when they got me on the schedule the next day to repair our screen and door. Ryan installed our encloser a few years back and always responsive and professional.

The job was scheduled for May 11 but they didn't show up until May 14. This impacted the move in date for my tenent but all worked out in the end. Once started, the replacement went well and the result exceeded my expectations.

I would give them an A. Their work was technically perfect. The only difficulty that I had was that they didn't exactly turned out very well once they were finished but I called the general contractor and I had them come out and they were very cooperative in coming back out and to my satisfaction.

Ryan Hammers gave me an estimate based on the size and the design of the pergola that I was wanting. There was some detail that I wasn't aware of that he provided to help me make a decision. He gave me drawings and specs in a timely manner that I could give to my homeowners association. He answered all my phone calls and got back to me quickly if he wasn't available. Paul and Domenic , the crew that constructed my pergola were excellent! Again there were some decisions along the way that I had to make and they were very helpful! They were professional and pleasant to work with. Thanks Guys! I have a beautiful, natural looking Pergola that accents my back yard! I have a west exposure but with a screen on top, I can sit and enjoy outside even when its a sunny. Thanks Ryan!

Superbly. Ryan Hammers, one of the owners, made several trips to our home, and was always responsive and highly professional. It is clear that he rightly takes great pride in the business that he and his partner have built. He spends a great deal of time on training his staff in all aspects of the business, including customer relations. The two-man team who did our job, led by Al Blood, was as good as they come. They took their time, listened carefully to our desires and concerns.

Called the company for a quote and ended up using their services as they offered to do more than the other quotes I had received. They also made several recommendations to me that helped make my pool deck no longer flood. We are planning to use them to add on a concrete patio outside of the pool enclosure. Great company.

I wanted to have many of my enclosure screens replaced and for several months I was unsuccessful in finding a company to come out and provide even an estimate. I would leave messages with several vendors, but they would either never return my call or follow through with an actual appointment. I had seen Impact Enclosures on several occasions doing work around my neighborhood and thought I would research them on the internet. I was impressed with some of the testimonials I read and the UNF background of the leadership, so I thought I would give them a try. After leaving a voice mail, Ryan Hammers immediately returned my call and we set up a date for him to come out to my house and provide an estimate. He and an associate came out to the house on the date we agreed upon. My original intent was to have several screens replaced, but Ryan priced out my idea and a full replacement with several extras (tapcon replacement, replace door hardware, cleaning of gutters, enclosure cleaning etc.) Going for ?the works? seemed to be like the more prudent choice, so we agreed to a price and Ryan told me that I could expect them to begin work in about 2-3 weeks. To my surprise, within a week a 2 man crew (Dan and Brad) showed up to begin work. It was a big job and took several days, but both guys did a great job. They took their time and carefully replaced all the screens. They hand cleaned all the frames of the enclosure, preventing much of the dirt and grudge from landing in our pool. Also impressive was that they took their time to clean the gutters and clean-up everything including our deck (late on Friday), despite having to work in a driving rain storm. They paid attention to the details and made sure that it really looked good. You could tell that they took pride in their workmanship. The bottom line is that our enclosure looks fantastic again! I was extremely satisfied with the service and quality of work. I will definitely call them again, if/when I need more enclosure work done in the future and would highly recommend Impact Enclosures to anyone needing enclosure work. Peter D.

Al was out installer, and he was courteous, professional & diligent. We were very impressed with his workmanship on the screen and he even cleaned our whole lanai when he was complete, leaving it spotless. Would definitely recommend both Impact Enclosures and Al.
