Fine. Very knowledgable and professional.

We highly recommend this company be avoided. All things considered, our experience with this company was terrible. We regret contracting with them. We would never use them again for any project no matter how small. They are unresponsive, unprofessional, do not communicate effectively and do not deliver a quality product. Ultimately the patio we received was not worth the cost and certainly not worth the delays and the agony this company caused us. We could have had concrete slab poured for a fraction of the cost, in a fraction of the time and wound up with a superior patio. A more detailed outline follows: Paid 50% upfront on 5/21 ($1,800). Time to complete was 6/16. Once the check was written, communication was terrible. Contact phone mailbox was usually full and, if the owner didn't answer, there was no way to leave messages. Workers did not show up on scheduled days (excuses were high blood pressure for the supervisor and dog died from the owner, plus others). The crew didn't speak or understand English, making communication with them nearly impossible. The crew argued and fought verbally among themselves over issues we tried to raise. We paid extra for an underground drain from a downspout, which was not installed. We called, complained and they came back out eventually, pulled up the patio and ran the drain in the wrong direction. When we complained about the direction they complained their boss didn't give them the materials to do what we asked. They robbed a downspout angle from one of my other downspouts and used it in their job. When they returned with sufficient pipe to complete the drain, they pulled up the patio and dug in the right direction but then hacked the roots off our elm tree 2' from the base of the tree, in spite of my asking them twice to jog their trench further to their left. When it came time to sand the patio for the final time and lock the pavers in place, they called to say they had no sand to perform the job and delayed again. When they did arrive, we had to complain again that the courses were not straight. The supervisor told us there was nothing they could do about that. We know straight courses are no more complicated than pulling a string line and aligning the course to the line. Once again, we had to ask them to stop while we called the owner again. Now that they're gone, and the patio has had time to settle, there are wavy lines in the courses, broken corners in the pavers, and water puddles on the patio after it rains precisely where they dug the compacted soil back out to install the drain they failed to install up front as agreed and paid for. The owner deducted $100. In his email apology he stated, "I will give you $100 off as an apology." After we paid our final check, the company did not deposit nor cash the check for 2 weeks. Once again, the voice mail box was full so we were forced to send emails again. We gave them to the end of that week and threatened to cancel payment on the check if they did not call or deposit our check. It was deposited a few days later after another email with another excuse. The company has never contacted us to see how the patio was or if we were having any problems. A completely expected response given our experiences with them. Because we found this contractor on Angie's List, we are compelled to share our experiences here as

He was on time. The deal was for 100sf, and the gentleman told me that I was actually 45sf over the 100 that was allotted in the deal. He said it would cost double due to the fact that he would have to order another full pallet and would have to charge me for it, making the price doubled. I called Angie's List to cancel the deal and receive my refund.

4/18/16 The owner, Michael Serig arrived on time to take the measurements and to outline what the project involved. Once I accepted the contract, the pavers were ordered. The material was delivered to my house on 5/16/16 (the wait time was much shorter than previous times that I had this kind of work done). The next two days the associates worked on the project and worked the entire day until completion. To meet and be joined to the previous patio, the ground had to leveled. And I was very happy to see that all the debris was removed and the area open and cleaned before the men left. I really appreciated the time Michael spent walking with me inspecting the finish project and answering any questions that I had. He is very friendly and professional. Everything blended in so well and looks so pretty and inviting. I love what I see and can't wait to use the new sitting area. I would definitely use this company again and will recommend them to anyone interested in having quality work done. Michael, keep up the good work!

Mike, the owner, responded immediately to set up a consultation. He provided several design and price options. He was prompt for the consultation and timely in providing feedback. The installation crew was amazing, working fast and efficiently. I never saw anyone just standing around, everyone was always working. Clean up was great. I even asked for something additional to be taken care of, and it was. What a great group to hire.

They did a nice job. Our only complaint is that we wanted a bigger patio and we could purchase only in 100 sq ft increments. Since we did not need 200 sq ft, our patio is smaller than we wanted.

It went well. They came out and the crew was professional and polite and I have no complaints I am happy with the patio.

The 3 man crew removed the grass and some dirt, prepared the area and laid the pavers. They were hard working, courteous, neat and skilled. The project was completed in about 6 hours and by nightfall the family was sitting down around a fire drinking hot cocoa. Earthscapes was competitively priced and I would highly recommend giving them an opportunity to work on your next project.

The team prepared the area for the install after confirming location, size and configuration. From the onset of the project, good communication was established and maintained with the installers and supervision. Everyone was punctual on their arrival times and worked till they lost daylight. The complete installation required three full days.Good housekeeping practices were maintained throughout the project.When work was completed, a thorough inspection of the work was accomplished. Overall they seemed very knowledgeable. I felt the estimate provided was too vague to accurately breakdown what I was being charged for. For example how much per square foot to install, prices of different pavers to access my options. I received six quotes for the project and this was the highest overall. Very friendly people and professionalism but when you are shopping to compare apples to apples breakdown in pricing needs to be more straight forward.

They exceeded my expectations. They showed up on time and completed the project without a hitch. If you are looking for a unique design for your outdoor living space, I strongly urge you to look into this company. They use left over granite countertops which are cut into a variety of shapes & sizes to form a beautiful patio. This process has the added benefit of being environmentally friendly by repurposing material that would have been in a landfill. Our neighbors and guests all remark how nice the finished product looks. We are going to have some additional work done by them
