Description of Work: Came to investigate a water leak and were able to discover it was not a plumbing problem nor an irrigation system leak, but rather a sporadic ice maker problem. They were able to determine the leak was not an outside water source but rather in indoor problem. Turns out the sprinkler had stopped, but rather someone had turned the pressure down on my sprinkler at the street and once he turned the pressure back up the irrigation system started working again. He also was able to disconnect the ice maker water source to prevent any future water leakage. Very professional, timely, and helpful.

Description of Work: The appointment was scheduled for the same day in the afternoon. Kevin was from St. Augustine area and arrived timely. The plumbing issue was repaired in 45 minutes and no further problems have occurred. Would want Kevin for my next plumbing issue repair.

Description of Work: Complete (including replacing sub flooring) remodel of guest bathroom. Took approx. 3 weeks, but was a big job. Guys did an excellent job, bathroom looks fantastic. Only complaint was that getting a call back or returned email from the office if you had any question/concerns was like pulling teeth. Finally got to the point where we delt directly with John, the job foreman. He was great! Overall very pleased with the remodel.

Description of Work: We told them our water heater was not working. Usually something you need to get fixed right away. After an appt scheduled in two days, the guy from David Gray showed up and first thing he said before looking at anything is that they do not work on water heaters. This is something they should have said on the phone to not waste my time. Instead because the pilot light was out the guy said the heater most likely needed to be replaced and called in all the specifics to have handy when I call them to get a new heater. Called a water specialist and hot a small part replaced. Cost me $150 instead of over a thousand dollars to replace the heater as David Grat tried to get me to do. I would never use them.

Description of Work: Plumber showed up on time, was extremely courteous & went right to work finding a leak under a bathroom cabinet. Quickly discovered toilet had no seal & that it was causing the water damage. Fixed issue in a timely manner & cleaned up as he worked. Very pleased with entire experience.

Description of Work: They replaced a faucet. They arrived at my house within 30 minutes if my call. THey were very professional, cleaned up after themselves. I could not have been happier.

Description of Work: I asked for an estimate for completely redoing a walk in shower and removing a plate glass mirror to be replaced with two individual mirrors. Someone came out, measured, and talked to me about what I wanted then called me back with an estimate. Their estimate was considerably higher than the second estimate I got yet when I asked for an itemized estimate I was told they couldn't do that. In a couple of days they called back with a revised estimate that was lower but also didn't include the mirror work. For the estimate the designer chose tile herself which I never saw and have no idea how much it cost per square foot. Their plumbing services are probably good but I wouldn't use the design services.

Description of Work: Snaked the Kitchen Drain. We called David Gray last minute and asked if they could accommodate a same day appointment sooner than the company we had confirmed. They stated yes and were fast, efficient and gave a $10 discount for no apparent reason! I had printed off the coupon from Angie's List website but the total was less than the $100 to qualify for the $30 discount. I was extremely happy with the experience and I would highly recommend the company.

Description of Work: Replaced all fixtures in the bathtub/shower. Looks great and works great.

Description of Work: Repair leaks in PVC water lines in attic that had been bitten by rats. They missed some on the first call, but returned and fixed them at no additional charge. I have used them before and will again. A bright spot in the dark mess of some services I have had to deal with this month.

Description of Work: I have used David Gray Plumbing several times before in the past before I became an Angie's List member and was always pleased with their work. However, this time I was an Angie's List member and so before I called them, I checked them out. Top rated - I was so pleased that the company I have used in the past was the top rated plumbing company. I called them and explained my problem (which was my water consumption went from 3,000 gallons the month before to 10,000 gallons this month!). I was at work and my son was home to let Kelly, our expert plumber in. Kelly did some investigating and found a problem with "overflow" in both of our upstairs toilets. He called me to explain what it was, how he was going to fix it, and then proceeded to do so. He was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Again, David Gray Plumbing did an excellent job and took care of my problem.

Description of Work: We had a main water line leak which bubbled up in the front yard. I had to shut off the water to the house. I called David Gray and was told they wouldn't be able to come out until the next morning. Rather than take my chances calling elsewhere, I agreed. The next morning, they called to inform me he was on his way and should be there in a few minutes. He arrived at 8:15am and had the job complete in 2 hours. He did not provide an estimate prior to starting the repair but I don't recall asking for one either. The cost was within my expectations.
