The service man was right on time, and they were able to send out someone the very same day I had called. After checking, their price was the best I had received, and the serviceman even repaired a loose handle on a faucet in the house. I will use them again.

We moved into an older home that had been vacant for 2 years. That shower in the master bath did not work. After changing the ball-valve myself I realized water was not exiting the shower valve and they rizer was completely blocked. We called David Gray Plumbing. The person who answered the phone was knowledgeable and professional. The guy who came to do the work was prompt, personal and very competent. A good experience. I will use them again.

They did a good job. They did arrive on time and they were very easy to work with and very polite. I did feel that the price was reasonable. They did quality work.

I initially talked to a service rep and she gave me an attitude since I wanted it done on a Saturday (conflicting overtime amounts). I hung up on her based on her attitude but then subsequently called back to complain based on ratings from this site. I talked directly to David Grey and he was VERY accommodating and stated that Saturday rates were normal rates but they tried to discourage use of Saturday for regular service (understandable). They actually called on July 4th (Friday) and requested to come out then, which was fine by me. The rate would be normal. Two guys showed up and did a fantastic job and were very congenial. And for the menial sum of $150. My son, the electrician has always said this was the best company.

Everything was excellent. He's very clean. He's one of the only plumbers that I've had in my home that had taken their shoes off right when they come in the house. I've always been very satisfied with the work that they've done, and I would use them again in the future.

I called in the morning, they showed up in the afternoon. Can't complain about that! The service tech (Dominic?) was pleasant & professional. Even though they don't normally work on pools, he was willing to take on the job since it was just plumbing. I appreciated his willingness to work outside his comfort zone to get me fixed up on a scorching afternoon. It appears he did quality work. He cleaned up both as he worked and then bagged the scrap trash at the end. He was there for maybe an hour and a half. I gave the company a 'B' on price because it cost me about $50 more than I wanted to spend. On the other hand, the quality looks good (will report if there are problems in the future, but pipe-welding PVC should be pretty straightforward) and he was there less than 6 hours after I called for service. Since this was far from an emergency call, I consider this amazing service. Well done! I've learned over time that with commercial contractors you often get what you pay for. In this instance, the cost of a problem could have been enormous; much more than just another visit. I'm glad I used these guys.

Mark showed up probably 20 minutes after the office called -- well in front of the expected window. He was very professional and courteous. I showed him the problem areas in my bathrooms, and he went to work on the roof with his snake, to remove the clog from my toilets and showers. The water went down very quickly. Then he went into the front yard and found the master flow-through valve, after digging through my shrubs (I never knew it was there after 6.5 years in this house). He worked around the shrub, opened the flow-through valve and flushed that out to ensure the clog was gone. The entire job probably took 30-40 minutes, and the toilets and showers worked like a charm. I had a coupon from the web site, and the total fee was 75 percent lower than what the previous contractor was ready to charge. I'm very happy with David Gray and would call on them again without hesitation.

I called David Gray Plumbing in the middle of the day from work and they arranged somebody to be out within the hour. I ran home to meet them. They respond quickly, be prepared. The young man arrived, looked around and advised me that he had to put a whole in the garage wall to access the leak so he did, it was filled with water. H looked around some more and determined that the air conditioner condensation pipe or something was clogged due to the recent rains. Anyway he dug in the dirt down to the pipe, cleaned it out and told me that it was an awkward angle and if it happened again I should call an air conditioner person to rerun the pipe. After he finished I asked him to look at the down stairs toilet because it had been running, He showed me why adjusted it (5 seconds) but didn't charge me and now I can fix my other toilet. They do not do drywall so I still have a hole in my garage wall which I am supposed to watch for a while before I have it patched up lest it fill again. The whole thing took about an hour. He was polite and careful and not scary and I would call them again.

Scheduled two days in advance - arrived within 15 minutes of promised time. Lead man broke down the various jobs, ordered needed materials, provided direction to his helper, and with the exception of their lunch break, worked continuously for 8 hours. To this point (two weeks later) all work is in good order. I provided the sink fixtures. Otherwise, the bill broke down to $339 material; $814 labor; $7 fuel charge; and $58 senior discount.

They came out pretty quick. I didn't get everything done. They told me that if I want to have the leaking pipes behind the wall. They did a pretty good job in my town home. They got here a lot sooner than I expected. It was two guys that came out to take care of the problem. It only took them fifteen minutes to finish the job. They bill by the hour, so they stayed around to talk and look for other things to assist me with.

I found Gray Plumbing on Angie's list and decided to use them because of their great rating. I called and they arrived at my house within 45 minutes. They listened to me and after looking at all of the variables, decided that based on the layout of the bathroom and the evidence of the leak, that it was most likely in the tub faucet. They cut a piece of the drywall out of the access wall to determine if that was truly the problem and thankfully that was it. They had it fixed in 45 minutes and the price was great! I was very impressed with the response and professionalism with which they helped me. I will use them again in the future for all of our plumbing needs.

We called first thing in the morning to see if someone could possibly come out that same day, not really expecting much based on previous experiences with other companies. We actually chose this company based not only on ratings on this website, but also because we saw one of their workers driving one of their trucks several months ago actually get out of his truck during a busy rush hour morning to help a stranded driver. That was impressive. They were able to have someone come out within a couple of hours (Gary), and he was professional, courteous, and friendly. He was also good with our two and a half year old daughter, which is always a bonus. As above, he fixed the problem in a short amount of time and even went out of his way to make it better for us than it had been. Overall, we are very impressed and will definitely use this company again if we have any more plumbing issues.

I have been using them for a long time. They are excellent.

I purchased a new dishwasher from the hardware store and paid $119 to have their subcontractor deliver and install it. When the hardware store sub arrived, they said my dishwasher shut-off valve under the sink had corroded and that I needed to contact a plumber to replace the valve before they could proceed. They recommended one that would charge me a discounted rate of $85. Since he was not available for a few days, I was looking at another week of being without a dishwasher. I called David Gray Plumbing and Bubba came out the next day to replace the valve and install the dishwasher and he did a great job. I have seen several problems with dishwasher installs... damage to countertops, dishwasher hard to open, but my install went perfectly!

It went fine. The plumber showed up as scheduled and was pleasant enough. The problem that we were having appears to have been rectified. However, the plumber was at our home for less than one-half hour and he charged us over $100. While we were happy with the results, we do feel like we paid too much.

David Grey is a plumbing company that does bathroom remodeling as well. I checked out this business with the BBB and he had no bad record. I liked the company but I was disappointed that he would not be able to do the floor work I wanted done. His estimate was also a little high in my opinion, compared to other companies I had interviewed.

This company was able to come out the same day we called them. The man who did the work was very knowledgeable. He knew his trade very well. He was very friendly. He was also quite the conversationalist. He had nothing to hide. He kept us in the loop of what he was doing. The price for his service was pretty fair and we would definitely use this company again.

Went very well. When my mom realized that the replacement strainers that she had bought the night before looked a shade off in the daylight, John agreed to halt the installation and work on another contract in the neighborhood while she dashed back to the store and exchanged them. He returned later in the day and completed the job quickly. We appreciate the professionalism and the flexibility! Would recommend this company based on a favorable impression of this individual.

We called them and they sent a nice, polite gentleman the same day. He quoted us a price and it was perfect. WOULD DEFINITELY CALL THEM AGAIN.

Called at 8:30. Friendly an efficient scheduler. Came at 1:00. Courteous technician very efficient fixed problem in 45 minutes. Very pleasant experience. I don't have much plumbing work done so I don't know about the price, but I would call them in the future.

The first thing the plumber did was listen in several places in the house for the leak. He then brought an air hose in and hooked it up to the line to definitely find the leak. He was very careful not to disrupt anything in the house when he did any of these procedures. Once the leak was found he removed all items from the bathroom so that no dust would get on them or rattle them off the walls when he had to jackhammer out the section where the leak was located. After he removed the concrete and dirt he was able to repair the pipe due to a small tree root had grown over the pipe and pushed on it just enough to rupture it slightly. After repairing the leak he checked the other pipes and each time he had me visually inspect every step of the work, which I appreciated. Then he filled the hole back up with dirt and poured concrete over it. The whole experience was painless AND he cleaned up every trace of dirt. My husband and I could not be happier.

I called David Gray Plumbing up and they asked me if I wanted to schedule them to come out the next day before or after 1pm. I told them before. A lady from the company called my about 10-15min before they arrived to tell me they were on their way. Two guys came out around 2:30 and fixed the pipe by about 3:00pm. They were friendly and they fixed the problem. Later that day, however, I noticed my kitchen sink water pressure was almost at a trickle. I called their office again and told them about it. They said they would send someone out again the next day. She explained that if its a problem related to the job the guys had done then it would be covered under warranty. The next day one guy came out, and Cleaned out the faucet head of my kitchen sink. He said sometimes when the water is cut off it dislodges stuff in the lines and can clog faucets. He fixed the problem and did not charge me. Overall I had a good experience and would recommend them to others.

David Gray's communication system completely broke down. Their policy of only servicing their customers during limited hours, their receptionists not knowing the schedule of their estimators, and the estimator not communicating with a customer is total failure of a company in my opinion. I will no longer use David Gray. Only after calling back later on Wednesday to lodge a complaint with their Quality Assurance department about the lack of customer service did I then get a follow up call from Gary Gray asking what it would take for me to do business with them. I told him, sorry but I can't do business with a company that will not work with a customer.

There was a problem with one job and they came back right away and fixed it. They did what they said they were going to do, came on time and charged what they said they would charge.

Arrived on time, worked efficiently, completed work, problem solved.
