Great as great as it could be with trying to throw steaming hot insulation dow the stairs. They moved me ahead because I was in such a mess.

The plumber arrived punctually, very courteous and informative...provided a thorough explanation of the problem and even broke down the costs and labor charges. Work was fast and unintrusive. David Gray will be my plumber from here on out.

The entire experience with this company was positive. I e-mailed them via Angie's List on Monday night. Tuesday morning they contacted me, asked for more details, and were able to arrange an appointment by Wednesday. Due to my work schedule I asked for a meeting around 3pm. They called me at 2:50, stating that they would be at the house within 20 minutes. They arrived about 3:20, did the work, and were out of there at about 4:40. Very professional.

I called for an appointment on the Friday before, the person who answered the phone was extremely pleasant and professional. They scheduled a time that was convenient for me on Saturday afternoon. The two men that arrived for the work order were very pleasant and professional as well. I am very pleased with this company.

I have had good experience with David Gray Plumbing in the past, so I called them when I accidently broke the water supply pipe going into the house while I was landscaping. I called them in the morning and the plumber was there around noon the same day. The plumber clearly explained what needed to be done and let me observe his work and ask questions/chat while he worked. It turns out he lives not far from me and was very personable. He had to dig in the garden to reach the supply line from the city. He finished the job quickly and removed his shoes at my door when he presented the bill so that he didn't track mud into the house. I am continually impressed by the quality of employees David Gray has. Pricing seems fair and they back their work.

They were able to resolve the issue for the water heater. However we were told that they didn't have the necessary equipment to fix the clog in the drain, and that they would have to come back out to fix that. Even though we mentioned the problem with our drain after they came out, I was expecting that they would be able to do that without any problem. Now I would have to pay for them to come back out if I wanted that done. However, they were very respectful and professional.

I tried to repair the existing faucet and sprayer myself, ended up causing more harm than good. Called David Gray today at 3 pm hoping they could come tomorrow and the receptionist said it would be today, "let dispatch call you back when they were in route". I could not beleive, a plumbing call at 3pm I could get them the same day. Dispatch called me and shared they would be out in 30-45 min. Mike the tech. arrived at 3:45 pm, took a short period of time, installed the new faucet and sprayer, cleaned up the area, signed the paperwork, paid the bill, and he was off to another call. Mike knew what he was doing, he was friendly, experienced plumbing, and I am a happy customer. Job well done.

Contacted David Gray Plumbing for an estimate to repair or replace a 2 inch cast iron plumbing stack with service ties to the kitchen and the laundry room at my house. Gianni came out and reviewed the project scope with me, explaining in detail two different approaches that could be used to replace the stack since a hot water heater on a built-in shelf was standing in front of the area where the stack was located inside the wall. Gianni explained how the job could be done without dismantling the shelf and taking down the h/w heater and provided a very fair estimate for the stack replacement, hot water drain pan line re-route and repair of the cut drywall. Tommy and Robert came out the next day and were terrific at getting to the stack in a tight space, diagnosing the condition of the stack (which was about 50 years old), and then allowing me to decide which option was best to take. Tommy was very knowledgable and helpful in the discussion, and ultimately I opted to replace the entire stack rather than the damaged section of it. The effect on the cost was $120, but I felt this was the wisest way to proceed. Both plumbers worked quickly, efficiently and skillfully to complete the job, reassembled the portion of the wood shelving unit that they had pulled out to allow better access (without compromising the structural portion of the shelf), then cleaned up the work area. They were both polite and personable. I had gotten an estimate from another plumbing company that was similar in cost, however, the work performed by David Gray included repair/replacement of cut-out drywall to restore the wall, whereas the other estimate did not. The drywall contractor contacted me today, and since I was available, the drywall has now been restored and is drying. Excellent work by the drywall contractor - quick and efficient. All that remains now is for me to paint the wall - very manageable. All in all, a great experience. I highly recommend using David Gray, and will do so myself in the future.

They came out to check a slow drain. It wasn't fixed so they came back out at 8pm to fix it. They were personable and he worked really hard. We use them at our office building too. There is always someone that can fix the problem at hand. They are reliable and knowledgeable and available.

They did a great job with the repairs, and they even removed some problematic roots without being asked. This is definitely my company of choice for any plumbing or HVAC work.

It went well. They cleaned up after they finished and did an excellent job with the work. They also followed up with us to see how the equipment was functioning.

While the operator affirmed that they're able to do the replacement, I was told there was no way to get a technician out before tomorrow. Having been without water for three days, I called based on their advertised 24 hour emergency services. Apparently that's not the case. Won't be calling again.

I've used this company for several jobs over the last year or so, including repairing a couple of pipes that burst in cold weather. Their plumbers have been professional and on time. After the most recent job, which involved clearing several slow drains, I discovered a leak under the kitchen sink. While it may be the industry's practice to not cover leaks that their own drain clearing process may have created (the leak was at a point where two pipes connected), telling me that they have a bigger job and can't come fix it until the next day isn't acceptable. On top of this, they didn't call me back the next day to make arrangements to fix the problem as stated. I expressed my disappointment with the company and called a competitor who took care of the problem right away. On another topic, I had to ask several times for an estimate for a replumb. The person who answers the phone can't schedule an appointment. They have to have someone call you back, which means you have to play phone tag if they leave you a voicemail. The competitor that I used to fix my drain leak scheduled an appointment to do an estimate on the same call. They will have my future business.

They came out quickly to do this job. Greg and Anthony came out to do the work. They were young, courteous and professional. They did the job. They cleaned the mess cause by the pipe bust and washed the tub and walls. They were just wonderful and this is an excellent company.

They did a nice job installing and testing the valves to make sure everything was working properly. Friendly and personable.

They are one of the biggest in town. They are pretty good. I found them on the internet. I've used them for years. They've done some other plumbing job for me. They've installed bathroom faucets too. I'm pretty happy with everything that they've done for me so far and I haven't had any problems. They are responsive and they are here on time.

Found water heater leaking, called at 7:20 and got noon appointment. Tommy and Brett showed up at 11:30, finished in a little over an hour. Very courteous and professional and cleaned up well.

I spent about $700 on their services. They were excellent. They gave a good guarantee on the plumbing changes that they had done. They were excellent. I will use them again in the future.

They are great. I've used them for many things. They really listen to you. They have great customer service. I would highly recommend them.

Overall, it was an excellent experience. We had 2 leaking toilets. We looked up plumbers on Angie's List, found this company had 100% high ratings, and called them. We got a quite time for service, they were right on time. The 2 service men spent very little time repairing the toilets, and left. The cost was very reasonable. We were extremely pleased, start to finish.

Kevin double checked his work and found a small leak with one of my parts and had to make a change to their company issues parts, which helped keep them from coming back. I used a coupon off their website for $20.00 off, which is helpful since plumbing visits and repairs are never cheap. I have used David Gray in the past and have had very good success. They are professional and always timely. I enjoy the 9:00 - 9:30 AM window vs. the 2 hour window throughout the day.

Excellent. Had to call back for a minor adjustment and they were there the next day and completed task quickly.

They've been here of and on. They were here promptly. They actually found the problem right away and fixed it which was the most important thing. They took care of everything and it worked. I've had them back a lot of times. Most the companies charge about the same and the price really depends on what you have done.
