I had an outside faucet that was leaking a fair amount of water...it was the direct line that linked the city water to my house. The service man was an hour late but when he arrived he promptly and efficiently installed a new faucet (the handle of the old faucet..probably 50 years old had broken off) |I was grateful that it was repaired within 24 hours of my call for service.

Overall the work men were courteous and completed the work in a timely fashion. I was also impressed with the quality of the of the repair work following the re-pipe. Their price was a bit higher than a couple of other quotes, but I was quite pleased with the results.

Our sewage was backing up into the house so called David Gray Plumbing as they had done several plumbing jobs for us in the past for the same problem and they always responded within a Couple of hours. This time they said it would be 2days before they could be here. I asked what we could do until then as we could not use our toilets. I was told sorry but, they could not be here before 2 days. Their recording says they have 40 plumbers. Guess they don't have any that can respond to emergencys!!!! They shouldn't advertise that. THEY HAVE LOST ANY PLUMBiNG BUSINESS I MIGHT HAVE IN THE FUTURE!!!!!!!!! I called Roto-Rooter and they were here and fixed the problem within 2 hours and came back the next day and dug up they pipe that was causing the problem and replaced it. I sure will not ever recommend David Gray Plumbing to any one.

Had a leak under front of toilet. Had to pull toilet and replace the wax ring /Orson was very pleasant and efficient..Leak was fixed and got to use $30.00 coupon from Angie's list . Would highly recommend and use again.

David Gray plumbing quickly assessed the issue, had parts delivered and fixed the issue. Sink works like a charm and issue resolved.

He came out promptly and was very truthful. He only replaced the valves that needed to be changed. I liked working with David, he did a great job. I referred him to a friend recently who also had a good experience with him.

The Tech showed up on time and was very personable! He was very neat and cleaned up after himself. He was able to install our faucet quickly and easily. Loved, loved, loved the experience.

Can't say enough good about my experience with David Gray. Of course plumbers are never going to be cheap, but at least these guys gave you your moneys worth. Very knowledgeable plumber, Scott, and an assistant came out for the work. He knew exactly what to do and what was required per code. The workmanship was very professional and looked awesome. Nothing third rate about these guys. They did a good clean up when they left, including cleanup they didn't have to, and even carted away the old water heater when they could have just told me to schedule with the city for a free pickup. Very pleased with them.

They are fantastic and I highly recommend them for everything plumbing related. They were here on time and did everything perfectly.

David Gray's service guy was great! As promised, he called one hour before the appt., showed up on time and went above and beyond in installing my new kitchen facet. He cleaned out the mess under my sink (it was borderline disgusting) and my kitchen looked much better after he left! I highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

First off, they were on time. The estimate was a "worst case" of about $600 since the tech thought they had to run new copper piping. But, about time the tech's coffee kicked in (I was the first appointment of the day), he came back in and said that he could run a flexible line up the wall from the old connection, across the attic and down the wall to the new location. It would take less than half the time! I was thrilled. Total job for less than half the estimate, and icemaker running beautifully. The tech cleaned up everything and you couldn't even tell they had worked in my home. :)

Update as of 8/17/15: The issue they said they fixed in this service call wasn't actually fixed and now a year an a half later the shower head fell off because the pipe rusted through. They refused to fix it though because they only offer a 1 year warranty..... Reducing this grade from a D to an F. We choose David Grey because of their high ratings on Angies list, but unfortunately it did not go as well as we had hoped. Summary: Pros: - They were professional and friendly when at our house and on the phone - When things went wrong they didn't charge extra labor costs, only for parts - They were able to set up appointment quickly and for the next day Cons: - The broke multiple promises of when they would follow up and did not show up when promised - Their initial repair made the problem worse - Initial technician did not do work correctly per the second technician they eventually sent out, including not replacing a part with a new part when they said they did. Bottom Line: While they probably do many jobs without issue, their lack of follow through, broken promises, and poor initial work will make sure I don't call them again. The details: Appointment Setup: The appointment setup process went great. I called on a Thursday and they were able to schedule someone to come out the next day and gave the time slot of 10-1. I informed them on the call that we would need to replace Kohler parts and they said they would put a note on the appointment to make sure the technician had the correct parts. First Appointment: On the day of the appointment, we did not hear from them at all during the time frame scheduled and so ended up calling the company an hour after the scheduled window to see when we could expect them. They apologized and indicated they were backed up and that we were the next appointment in the queue. Their plumber did eventually showed up about 45 minutes later. We would have appreciated some type of heads up that they would miss the time frame but it was not a big issue. Their technician was very professional and friendly, but quickly informed us after looking at the faucets that he did not have the correct parts, despite our attempt to prevent this when we setup the service call. He then had to call into the office and ask for them to be delivered out to us. That took about 45 minutes but eventually they arrived and he installed new valves in both faucets and let us know everything should be repaired. However, before he left we checked on the faucets and they were both still leaking and one was much worse than before. The technician came in and could not figure out the problem, but since it was the end of the day, he said he had scheduled a warranty call for the next morning (Sat) and they would come out and fix the issue with no extra labor charges, just parts. He put this in writing on our receipt. We weren't happy that this was going to drag on and it was now worse than before but what could we do? Saturday: Saturday comes and we don't hear from them at all during the morning. Eventually around 2pm I call to find out when they were coming, and the people on duty don't seem to know about this at all. By late afternoon, the person in charge on the weekends called back and say sorry, but they don't have the parts and can't get them till Monday. They said there was a mis-communication and someone should have called us that morning to tell us the service call that they had scheduled just the night before could not happen. At this point we were very unhappy because they so far had only made the leaky faucets worse and we had to wait another two days to hopefully get this fixed. The weekend manager promised that they would address this first thing Monday morning and that the office would call around 7:30am and if they hadn't, he personally would call at 8am to get things on track. Monday: Monday morning comes around and we hadn't heard from them by 9:30am, well after they promised to call. We called and ask to talk to a manager, who eventually called us back and got someone sent out to our house. After the new technician took a look at the work done, they said that the initial plumber had not used the correct number of screws and it didn't look like they had replaced our old part with a new one even though they indicated they did on the receipt. However, after a couple hours of work, they eventually were able to fix both faucets. After much discussion, they ended up only charging us for the parts and the labor done during the initial visit and not the labor on the follow up visit on Monday.

It went fine. Plumber arrived on time. Completed work in a timely fashion. He was very neat and cleaned up after himself. I would definitely use them again.

Kevin was very professional. Did an excellent job repairing / replacing issues with our hot water heater. Punctual, arrived on time as scheduled. Being relatively new to the area feel that we have found someone we can trust.

They were very quick and their pricing was reasonable. The technician was very professional. He used a snake to check the drain and was able to find the issue. He did an excellent job. He showed up on time and did only what was needed.

Scott and his apprentice Pat took every care to be clean and contain all of the Sheetrock dust. He did an excellent job of performing the repairs and answered all of my questions. The only shock came at payment time and the high cost was attributed to material cost. He did also add two pipe straps to keep them from moving. Scott and Pat's attention to detail and skill will keep me coming back, but the company needs to find new material suppliers that aren't so expensive.

I called for an estimate and left a message with the answering service. This was on Saturday. I never heard back from them.

We recently tiled our guest bathroom. There was water pooling behind the toilet, and we were afraid perhaps the tile guy had not sealed the toilet properly upon reinstalling it. David Gray Plumbing had great reviews, so we called and they came the next day. Kevin was very prompt. Lucky for us, it was bad supply line, which he replaced. The labor charges are normally $94/hour; the part was $10. But I used the Angie's list $30 off coupon and the final bill was only $74. Kevin was great, thanks so much!

The two plumbers from David Gray were skilled, efficient and got the job done. We had a leak coming from the shower valve and they were able to fix it in less than a couple of hours. They first quoted us for $500 but was able to get it down to $470 after the AL coupon. The price may be a bit too high though but since we've never hired a plumber before, didn't want to experiment and stuck with an AL highly rated company.

I requested they contact me so I could go to rental when they performed work. Did not contact me instead I received a call that work was done. Then they billed the rental address. The next thing I knew they had collectors calling my cellphone harrassing me. The collector refused to give me a copy of the invoice unless I sent her a letter to get permission to fax it it to me. I sent a request to the owner on June 12, 2012 for a copy of the invoice and when the amount was more than the coupon I'd had from their online ad I requested that he honor it. I sent the payment on July 6, 2012. On January 10, 2013, I received a harrassing call from a "Mr. Hardemon" of Accelerated Receivables Management a collection company owned by an attorney, Francine Landau. I denied owing the debt and he ignored me and told me it will hurt my credit and they would be forwarding it to "litigation". I then sent a letter to the attorney referencing the FDCPA (fair debt collection practices act) and via facsimile with the front and back of my check and have not heard anything further. To be fair, neither the work nor the price was the issue - it was the lack of professionalism in trying to collect the $90. I never received a courtesy call prior to collection calls from an unprofessional collection agency. If I had they couldve avoided the misunderstanding and gotten my correct billing address and prompt payment.
