work was done at my condo, where my sister lives, so granted, I was not there. According to my sister, toilet had a leak, Plumber came out, said he had to replace a flange under the toilet. For some reason, he had to wait for the part to arrive, so evidently, he charged us an hourly rate while he waited for the part. Unsure how otherwise it cost $500.00+ to lift up the toilet, replace the flange, and re-seat the toilet. Update and response- As I mentioned, the work was done at my condo, but under my sister's name. My sister and I both talked to Cindy in Billing. After speaking with supervisor, she told me the bill had been adjusted down $150. My sister wrote a check, so Gray is sending out a partial refund. Apparently, according to Cindy, the cost was high because the plumber had to be careful not to break the tile. Again, I don't get it. You unscrew two bolts, cut the caulk seal around the base, lift the toilet, replace the seal, tighten two bolts, done. We appreciate the adjustment, but still feel charging $400 total (as adjusted) for replacing a wax seal (according to Cindy, part cost us about $80, its $5 at Home Depot) is way too high. At the very least, we feel plumber could have called us to explain why extra cost was justified.

I called David Gray Plumbing at approx. noon today and by 3:30 pm my problem was solved. Antwann was very respectful and friendly and got the job done in no time. Will definitely use again if needed and recommend to others.

We placed a call today and agreed upon a time of 4 o'clock and the technician, Don A, was here promptly and fixed the leak. He was courteous and efficient. We would not hesitate to use the company again.

The dispatcher called in advance and the plumber called as he approached my home. He was neat fast and courteous!

See above. The plumber was slow and acted like he was doing me a favor to stop billing while he bought part. It took him an hour to figure out he needed that part. I think the company should have been more courteous by having a supervisor call me back within 24 hours. The charge to install the toilet was too high.

We got six estimates for re-plumbing our home. Not only did this company give us the lowest estimate, they said they could do the job in less time than the other five. And they did just that. This company: >> took out the old plumbing and hauled it away; >> installed new up-to-code pipes; and >> guaranteed that if the work did not pass inspection by the city, they would do whatever it took to make sure it did. The work passed the city inspection and allowed us to get new home owner's insurance saving over $1,000 per year. Plus we had the peace of mind that the old pipes overhead where gone. We would not hesitate to use David Gray Plumbing again.

It's another one of those really good company that are just great on the spot. They're very professional, very nice, and easy to get along with. They do an awesome job!

They arrived late in the day. A tenant received them--and they did not contact the property owner (me) with their findings or the estimated cost of their service/repair. The tenant felt like they did the repairs just to say they did something, because the toilets have not sounded like they were leaking. However, nothing yet is to explain their high water bill except something like this. In the past, I've had good experiences with the company. I hope this is an exception.

First of all, I want to say, if you ever need plumbing repairs of any kind, David Gray is the company to call. I am always treated with respect and kindness from appointment through service. Not only did Butter and Kye do all the work described, Butter gave me very helpful hints on how to take better care of my drainage system. I have only been with this company for a year but compared to previous service provided by other companies, David Gray is superior in both service and customer service. Until they give me a reason to move on, they will remain my company of choice for plumbing and HVAC service.

The plumber and technician were great, knowledgeable, courteous and speedy. The emergency customer service call I placed was handled very well. I have no complaints. In fact, I'm writing a review 30minutes after David Gray Plumbing left my house because I was so impressed. I will definitely be a repeat customer and I'm telling my friends.

They first tried to upstop with the snake in the drain, but did not seem to work. Then they went upon the house and started looking at the vent. This is an old house and there is still some galvanzied pipe and so some of the rust had settled in the pipe and why it would not drain properly. They went under the house and finally was able to get everything clear and clean. To me this was excellent service and checking all possibilities, compared to the other plumbers. They were very thorough and even though the cost was a little more than I expected, with the time they spent and the work they did it was well worth the money. Definitely will not have to spend more money on calling a plumber back again for the same issue 3/4 months later. Jamie the technician was excellent and appreciated his efficent work and job satisfaction. I have other plumbing work and will definitely use David Gray.

Excellent response and service. Called and received an appointment for that afternoon after not being able to schedule with another plumbing service for almost a week. Called 30 minutes prior to make make sure that I had been able to get home from work before he came out. Resolved the issue in about an hour. Very satisfied with service!

They arrived as expected. Performed the work quickly and professionally. Cleaned their mess. Tested everything.

There was leak in bathroom wall. Problem was a leaking pipe.The repairman fixed the pipe, he had to cut holes in sheet rock to repair..Wall sections were cut out neatly and replaced. I just have to have get sections plastered over and painted. I am extremely satisfied with the work done. The repairman was very professional and the price was reasonable.

The providers were able to come out on short notice, fix the problem, and even come back to make a further repair after leaving. I was impressed with the speed, precision and professionalism they demonstrated.

The service went very well on location. The on line service in house provider was helpful and she did tell me ahead of time what the installed or ice was going to be but the final bill was not itemized by product and service. I felt ripped off by a provider I think highly of David Gray and have recommended them to many others. I also got an installed price for three toilets of a specific low height. The price was $900 per unit, absolutely outrageous In my opinion. I love David Gray for tough jobs that require exceptional equipment and skill but it am not going to use them for ordinary plumbing jobs anymore.

Checked the drain pipes and inspected the toilets. Gave us good advice.

Fine, pipe was bent, removed bib and replaced.

It went well. I didn't expect for them to have to cut into the wall but with the newer faucets that's what has to be done.
